Amazing staff! Very resourceful, friendly, spoke English. Breakfast; ok, basic variety of pastries not much to be expected Dinner: (paid) surprisingly they had a decent menu at very reasonable prices Internet: Only worked in the lobby which is not necessarily convenient Convenience: Right next to the train station - can't beat it! Neighborhood: Ok, […] didn't feel unsafe at any time, it appears some of the streets near plaza garibaldi are a bit sketchy but didn't feel in any danger. I observed some of the regional cops/police force use the hotel for overnight stays so that was in a way a great plus. Room since / amenities: Small compared to what you would normally see in the states but fairly standard to other Italian hotels; amenities, basic, at least it had a safe! Overall: I would definitely recommend this hotel is good for a couple of nights or so, rooms are definitely too small for a family. It is easy to get to, staff is superb. Side note: While staying there, I asked information about local tours to Pompeii and Vesuvius, surprisingly they work with a local transportation company and they were able to arrange a 6 hour private trip for 150 euros - which is not bad if you compare that most tour buses charge you around 80 per person in a crowded bus. The hotel is across the street from the side exit of the train station. We had a triple room. Our room consisted of two floors--2 single beds on main floor and another on the second floor which would give you privacy when travelling with children. There is also a frig in the room. Our room was clean and comfortable and a great value for what we paid. […] We had planned to take a boat to Capri but the seas were too rough. Backup plan was to take train to Sorrento but that private train line was on strike. We went back to the train station as the main train line was running but within the next 30 minutes they too were on strike. We were on our way from Sorrento to Milan via train when the transportation strike happened in December. During my short visit to Naples, I wanted to stay near thecentral train station. It's not the best area of the city, but this hotel is a small oasis. The area around the hotel is busy. The hotel is basically around the corner from the main train station and convenient for arrival, departure, and out of town day trips. A short walk to the old section of town, about a 20 minute walk to the Archeological Museum, and about a 30 minute walk to the waterfront. There are transit options readily available, should you prefer. Morning breakfast was of good quality with ample selection of items and helped to get each day off to a good start. Great location - you can walk (even with luggage) from the train station. It is literally around the corner. Central to get to Naples sites and if you are planning on visiting Pompeii or the Herculaeum you need to go to the train station which, again, is walkable. Naples is kind of a zoo - think Tijuiana. So, there is that, but the hotel was quite nice. […] The room was really cute and very clean. The bathroom smelled a little moldy but was clean and huge by European standards. The breakfast was European so basic, but good. Front desk was a tad annoying. They took our passports upon coming in and wanted to keep them for hours to make copies. This is, of course, unacceptable and we had to get in an argument to get them back. Also, room service didn't work out. No one spoke any English and they apparently didn't sell the items on the menu, only a set menu that wasn't on our room service menu. We called the front desk (who did speak English) to get assistance in placing an order and were told "no." Other than that, very smooth and they do have an elevator for getting bags up and down. If you didn't like this hotel, you don't understand Naples or Campania or Italy. Campania has been fought through and fought over and pillaged, its people have been oppressed and repressed, and it is still largely ignored by the politicians in Rome and Brussels. You can't expect the same culture, attitudes and behaviours that you would expect in more […] affluent cities and regions. For Campania, and Naples in particular, this hotel is pretty good. Another woman at the hotel said that she had also been robbed on the street near the hotel the day before. The "Grand" Europa may have been Grand in days gone by, but those days are gone. It is typical to other hotels in the area surrounding Naples Station Centrale. Somewhat dated and merely adequate for the price in view of the proximity to the trains. We had to be at the airport at 5:30 and the man on the desk made arrangements for our cab at a reduced price and then got us a coffee and some juice to see us on our way. The breakfast was your typical european breakfast. Room was simple but clean, for a family of four we had two double beds and all but dad slept comfortably. I loved that it was down the street from the main train station and a quick ride to the airport, can't take train to airport. Hotel will help you book a taxi. 駅から徒歩３〜５分ほど。重いスーツケースを転がして行っても難なくたどり着けます。ホテルの評価と関係有りませんが、かなり治安が悪い感じがするので夜の到着は駅チカと言えど怖いと思いました。ホテル自体は、ビジネスホテルといった感じです。フロントは少し無愛想だと感じましたが問題はありません。荷物を部屋まで運んでくれるのですが、その方はとても親切でフレンドリーで良かったです。部屋は清潔です。朝食はクロワッサン・パン・ウィンナー・ハム・チーズ・フルーツポンチなど、安い割には充実していると思います。チェックアウト後も当然のように荷物を預かってもらえました。概ね良かったです。
