"Great deal"
Adequate in every way, but spectacular in none. Great for business, and a restaurant located right on the water is the perfect place for meeting clients. Also won’t break the bank. Certainly geared towards divers, with lockers and other amenities clearly catering to that crowd. My stay at Sunset House was wonderful. The front desk and the restaurant personel, the person who cleaned my room were all accommodating, kind and corteous. "Great value in Grand Cayman"
This is a great place to stay if you are trying to save a little money, the scene on 7 mile beach has worn you out, or you are a diver. Though this hotel doesn't have some of the amenities of the 7 mile beach resorts (workout room, internet in every room, stores within walking distance) it has a nice location, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and […] the hotel staff and dive operators are friendly and helpful. "Clean Room, Good for Divers."
I felt this hotel was expensive for the low star rating. The room was clean and serviceable. The location and ease for diving was great. Very easy. Staff could have been more helpful, except for Eve, who was wonderful. The folks in the dive shop were excellent. The food is terrible. Rent a car and eat elsewhere.
"Sunset House Grand Cayman"
We chose this hotel from the website as a convenient well priced place for a one night stop over on our way to Little Cayman. It was such an excellent choice - a warm friendly welcome, good food, lovely room overlooking the ocean. Altogether a very pleasant stay. Would definately come back again.
"Great if you ARE a diver"
My friend and I went to run the Marathon. It was amazing . we stayed at sunset for affordability . The staff, security and food were the best I have ever expierenced at a hotel.However, there was no beach and the walk to georgetown was dangerous, no sidewalks. There were no frills Im the room.
