Pacifica Motor Inn - Pacifica

Bed was extremely old and uncomfortable, microwave was malfunctioning, room/hotel was old and dated. The pictures on the wall were faded and you could barley see them. But the oceanview and location were great. This place has potential, just needs some updating.

This place is not bad for the price. Especially considering how close you are to the beach. The rooms could use a little maintenance. This coming from a construction guy. But overall, not bad. My only complaint is the parking. Very limited.

Rooms are large and clean. Hotel people were helpful and pleasant to work with. Visitor center just across the street which was very helpful with our planning of the daily events and sites within the San Francisco area.

There is parking, but only if you have a tricycle. The parking spaces are so very tight that I highly suggest parking on the street. No coffee in the rooms. This motel overcharges for 1950's decor.

Good quiet location. Not a great bargain, but it's close enough to the city and still offers ocean view.

All things considered, a good value for the money. The owners were friendly and helpful.

Too expensive for a plain jane room. Food wrappers and containers were found in the drawer of the bedside table. The view was the only amenity. The continental breakfast was a joke (Coffee, orange juice and a packaged danish roll). Didn't get what we paid for.

My husband booked this hotel online without my "approval" and when I checked and saw the negative comments I was, needless to say, a little concerned. My concerns were put to rest upon arrival. We were given an upgrade without even asking, we had a full bathtub in the room, and while it is "on" Hwy 1, the room was quiet.

Wow, we get away to the ocean periodically and have stayed in a couple of the other hotels in the area. This was fantastic.... Half the price and as much if not better than any we've been to. We've found our cove at the beach.

Wished they had an in-room coffee pot. Everything was quite satisfactory.

mildew in bathroom, cracked tiles, bathroom floor smells like toilette when you get out of the shower, broken windows.number one complaint was the price , i paid too much for an ocean view room and instead had a great view of the restaurant arcoss the street , manangement insisted that it was an ocean view room because you could see water through the corner of the window

Having stayed here a few times quite some time ago, we found that the lodging at the Motor Inn has not kept its charm. The location is the only positive quality remaining. There was a certain grit to the room including the bed and the bath was the worst. This place definitely needs to invest in refurbishing and upkeep.

price is too high compare to service received. room keys sometimes did not work. too noisy ( footstep) upstair. room had some smell (pet)

There are several nice things about the hotel. What sent me over the top was the excessive mold in the tub/shower area - it really is well past needing to be taken care of.

The hotel is very basic but the view makes it worth it. The price was reasonable for the accommodations. The only complaint was that the room was booked for two nights but we decided to stay for only one. It was very difficult to get a credit for the second nights stay.

When we arrived I asked if we could upgrade to a room with a view. The person at the front desk said they did have a room available and it was an extra $20. When I gave him my credit card for the additional fee he said he would only take cash. I gave him the cash and went to the room to find it was an obscured view of the ocean mostly it was of the hotel across the street. I went back down to tell him that I didn't have a view and I wanted my $20 back he said he had no other room available except the room we originally booked that was on the bottom floor and very dark.

The hotel was dirty the towels you could see thru noisy the room smelled like freebreeze to much no extra pillows the only nice thing is the beach is right there.

This was booked for a 5 night stay for a yearly family get together... was very dissapointed when I opened my window and had the lovely view of a BRICK WALL!!! One would think that when a guest reserves and pays for 5 nights they would at least get a view.... Oh well you live and learn.

We're there before we traveled back home. When we arrived our room was not cleaned, but we get a new (larger) room from the management immediately. In the second night the key doesn't work. They had to reprogram it at night.
