very few personel on the front desk .Had to wait more than 45 min for check out. hotel is old. there is big diffrence between the buildings forget about building one. Ventilation at the restaurant is very bad I still smell like barbeque fish.

The hotel itself is very nice. The lobby area, pools and access to the beach are gorgeous. We had a small suite to accomodate 3 people. The bedroom and bath were satisfacotry but the room with the couch that folded out into a bed was sparse and uncomfortable. The morning breakfast buffet is outstanding.

I've used that hotel on numerous occasions in the past 15yrs, however this year I found the room very disappointing, expecting an improvement because the hotel had been closed for refurbishment. I was first offered a double bed to accommodate myself and my adult son. In the past the room was more like a suite but now everthing is in a much smaller space, […] in one compact room. The view was disappointing. I booked half board, presuming it to mean breakfast and lunch and was faced with each day having to clarify this and cautioned about not being able to have a dinner as well. We had a nightmare, when we went to go to bed at night we realised the patio door did not lock in the bedroom so the children stayed in the main bedroom whilst we then stayed on the sofa bed as it was too late to ask to change rooms!!! the entertainment was awful and the food in the restaurant was disgusting, not even luke warm.... we even saw one of […] the waiters rewarm his food in the microwave!!! The hotel told us they were due to close down within days to finish off their refurbishments, so they were on complete shut down mode, where i feel in the hospitality business you should finish on a high.. it was a complete trauma for all the family and a total waste of money which in todays climate isnt something we have much off!!! We booked Sol Aloha Puerto half board and felt we got for good value for money. The reception area and bar area were very airy and pleasant, the staff who greeted us at reception although not overly friendly they were helpful. Bar staff were off hand. Waiting staff just ok. Our bedroom on the ground floor was basic, bed and towels changed regulary and […] clean. I was however very disappointed in the fact that the tumblers provided in the bedroom were neither washed or changed the whole 9 days we were there. The soap and shower gel dispensers in bathroom had a miserable amount of soap in the bottom of them and only one was refilled the day before we left. At one stage I had to nick a wee bar of soap of the cleaners trolley so we could get a decent hand wash! Air conditioning was off for most of the time. Whenever the toilet was flushed it made a loud noise and we were invariably woke every night with guests adjacent or above us flushing the loo. The food in the restaurant was average,fresh, predictable and lacked variety. Nothing to do with the hotel but I was horrified to see a man and lady standing at the buffet, she was sampling the chips and he lifted some oxtail stew from the buffet squeezed it against the tray and proceeded to eat it of the serving spoon- a real lack of manners displayed. Pool area and view beautiful. Great location and weather superb. Entertainment just ok. Would probably return in future- a good 3 star i reckon and 4 star for location. Read more

The hotel staff were more than helpful any any request was dealt with immediately. We had 2 lights out in our room and when we returned at night they were replaced. We asked for 2 extra pillows and within 10 minutes a maid was at our door with them.Beds made every day. Clean towels every day. The pool was quite deep for children, 1.5 metres at the shallow […] end but fine for anyone that could swim. We had bed and breakfast that we found fine. The entertainments team were amazing! My daughter had a great time. In perticular, Fran and Inoah. As always, the Restaurant Manager was great and he remembered us. A few of his staff need to smile a bit more. The lady serving behind the kids section really needs to learn how to be nice. The main problem we had was the Front Desk. I appreciate that […] they have a new computor system, but that is no excuse for the lack of customer service. They really do need to improve this area as it is the first impression that the customer gets. Great refurb of the lobby and the bar. One little point that I raised with the manager. In the evening, they should turn the sofas that face the pool around so that they face in. All evening people are leaning over the back to see the entertainment. Excellent location - right by the beach. Close to the Marina and shops. Breakfast quality wasn't brilliant but it was OK especially for the price we paid. Slowest check-in in the world - seems like they were trainees (except they weren't!) Would definitely recommend.

We've been using the Aloha Puerto twice a year now for the last nine years. Its location is ideal for both Benalmadena and Torremolinos and you can't get much closer to the beach than this.The rooms are ideal because there's a bedroom and a sitting room, so before we retire for the day the wife reads her book in bed while I watch telly in the other […] room. Just like home ! One thing you can't fault is the food. The choice is endless and they cater for everyones taste. The referb to the reception and concert room is superb with its views over the med. We have always found the staff courteous and friendly and when we arrived this last time we were greeted like long lost relatives. An ideal place to wind down. The room we had was a Junior suite on the 7th floor. Poor view of other hotels. After staying at this hotel last Easter we decided to book again and stayed from April 4th to April 11th. We were very pleased to find that the whole of the reception, lounge and bar areas had been refurbished over the winter and looked absolutely stunning. The new pale marbled floors, white washed walls and white leather sofas created a huge space […] of openeness. The newly panoramic windows looked out over the 2 swimming pools, gardens and Torremolinos promenade beyond. The hotel is certainly situated in an excellent position for both the Benalmadena and Torremolinos resorts and in particular the stunning moorish marina. We had a very comfortable bedroom with separate lounge area on the 7th floor of block 2. Even though we would have prefered Block 3 we still had lovely views of both the mountains and the sea. The food was excellent, having such a variety of choices. All the hotel staff who we spoke to were friendly and very accomodating. We certainly had a wonderful holiday and shall be booking again to go to Sol Aloha Puerto next year. Read more

The hotel itself was fine. However, the breakfast in the morning wasn't very good. I tried a few different things on the hot food counter, but it just wasn't tasty. The only nice things were the croissants and the coffee. Booked this hotel as a last minute option and wasn't disappointed, great location near Benalmadena Marina and right on the beach with great restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast in the hotel was very good with lots of choices, had dinner there one night and wasn't so impressed so great as a B & B stay. The pool area is nice but its one of those places […] where they get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sunbed and then don't come back till late in the day, the hotel says they will remove towels on unoccupied beds after 1 hour but they don't do this so spent most days at the beach. Overall though I would recommend this place for location, service and value for money and I was told while I was there that it was being refurbished over the winter so it should be great next year. Just across the esplanade to the beach, 200 yards to the puerto for night life and restaurants and a short walk to the Caruela beach for restaurants and shopping. It was a very friendly hotel - entertainment of a very high standard every night. We couldn't have wished for more.

El hotel cuenta con animaciones para niños durante todo el dia, el buffet es increible: está todo buenísimo. La situación del hotel muy muy buena en primerisima linea de playa. Las habitaciones cuentan con salón. El unico inconveniente que le veo que tampoco es tan malo, es el baño que es un poco viejo. Muy recomendable
