The Hotel was improving their lobby, upgrading their rooms and changing their name when we stayed. I reserved a V suite for 3 days and 4 nights. When I checked in I arrived a few hours early and had a few issues with the bellhop and the check in process, however the hotel upgraded me to an H suite on the top floor, which was very nice. I've stayed at […] the Palazzo, Vdara and the HRH Tower in the Hard Rock, which were all great rooms, but the H suite was the best room I've had in Vegas. My wife loved the MJ show and we caught a show at the House of Blues too. I recommend staying here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Our room was not clean and we have to wait almost an hour for another room (and this was after waiting for guest services to answer the phone). Ordered dinner off of room service and had to send back, meals were cold. Amenities were great but with construction going on you heard the jack hammers going from the halls-7AM on and we were on the 19th floor. […] Guest services took 3+hours to bring shampoo, cond., etc after calling twice. Not my favorite choice to stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"THE HOTEL IS NON SMOKING NO MATTER WHAT SITE SAYS"
We aren't everyday smokers but on vacation its make us happy. So that being said we booked a smoking suite and The Hotel once we arrived we found out that none of the rooms are smoking. Our check in person informed us that the hotel has changed ownership and is no all non smoking and we would also have to endure the loud construction. We decided to […] be transferred over to a regular room in the Mandalay bay and we were given a $100 dining voucher and sent on our way. The voucher was nice but didn't cover the cost we paid for a suite versus a regular room Honestly the Mandalay Bay isn't what it used to be if done again I would stay at Aria. So call make sure construction is over because it is a nuisance or stay elsewhere Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Still my favorite place to stay..."
I like THEHotel chiefly because of the quality of the suites and the semi-removed location from the rest of the crowded Strip. The Mandalay Bay complex is entirely self contained and, even though my stay was brief, I could see staying there for an extended period of time. I used the Spa and had a teriffic masssage. I was able to enjoy Vegas without […] getting wound up by crowds and mayhem. Living in NYC, I can get crowds and mayhem every day... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"It is THE Hotel !"
Beautiful views, room clean & excellent, great eateries on site, Mix Lounge was awesome. I've been here before, and will be back again! My only complaint is the "Smell" the hotel spreads throughout the lobby/casino area... not very pleasant. Nice casino area and the beach & pool areas are great if you go out early.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a wonderful trip. We have stayed at the Hotel before and would again. The pool was great and didn't have a problem getting a chair.Genuine Expedia guest review
I used to like this hotel, but was very disappointed on my last visit. TheHotel is under construction (might have nice to know that before booking) and it is very noisy and dirty. I didn't get the room I originally booked, and the staff was consistently was unhelpful and unfriendly. There are too many great hotels in Vegas to stay at this one again […] . "I couldn't believe how loud the music was!"
Pounding music from somewhere - perhaps the nightclub at the pool or on the top floor made its way through the ventilation pipes and straight into my room on the 29th floor. The first night I toughed it out because it didn't go on too long, but the second night was unbearable and I had to ask to be moved to a new room on a different floor. The person […] I spoke to at the front desk obliged my request promptly, but it was annoying to have the the hotel staff act incredulous as to the possibility that there could be noise in any of the rooms. "Won't be going back."
My two college friends and I have been making an annual trip to Las Vegas for the past 14 years. For most of those years we have stayed in a suite at THEhotel. The last two years we have noticed a decline in the quality of this place in general. In fact, THEhotel has now been purchased by a Florida-based group and is undergoing a major renovation and […] name change. This year, as I always do, I booked our usual suite on Expedia many months in advance. We were told at check-in that they were overbooked and no suites were available for our first night. All they had left was a standard room with two beds, no couch or sitting area. This was unacceptable for three middle-aged guys who were really looking forward to catching up over a few drinks in our suite before hitting the town. We were offered a $100 credit for food and drinks and were told to put the charges on our room. I didn't think this was very generous of THEhotel and that maybe it would have been more appropriate for them to write off our first night since our whole package was already paid for. But all they could do was give us the food/drink credit and waive the daily resort fee. Of course, when we went to check out we were told that our room charges, which came to $136, were only good at certain places at the resort, not at the ones we ate and drank at. No one ever informed us of this! I spent another 20 minutes trying to get the manager to give me the credit I was promised and she finally did, but it was hassle. Great staff! Service was excellent from check in to check out oncluding friendly housekeeping staff and wait staff at every restaurant. Spacious rooms with great views!Genuine Expedia guest review
Do not accept rooms on the 7th floor that have no view, other then HVAC equipment. If they tell you that's all they have then change hotels. Hotel is worn out, the remodel has begun, so just avoid.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Just returned from a 5 night stay at THE Hotel and everything was clean, friendly, professional, and enjoyable. My only complaint is that the pool was so crowded on Saturday that there was not hardly 1 open chair. Overall I am happy with my choice to stay at THE Hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
TheHotel is under renovation and being re-branded. It is our go to location as we do business in Henderson which makes the location at the South end of the Strip ideal. However, this visit, we had difficulty with the wifi and hard wired internet. We were told that a tech would come and fix for us but no one showed up. "Extremely nice for the price"
I was shocked at how nice the suite was for the price. They are upgrading to the Delano but not sure if they are changing the room but it is very nice as is. I've recently stayed at Aria, Vdara, Elara, and Trump and this is at the same level for a much lower price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautiful Rooms...but that's about it"
I absolutely loved the rooms at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. As you walk in, there is a separate living room with 2 couches, coffee table and big screen television, followed by a desk and big office chair in the corner. It was very cozy, comfy and pretty! The bedroom is separate and there are 2 bathrooms...one with a full shower and tub, the other with […] toilet and sink. I loved everything about our room, but sadly, I cannot say the same for the check in, and availability of the concierge. While we enjoyed the rooms, house keeping service and room service, the front desk staff left a lot to be desired especially with how long of a line check in was. We reserved 3 room with issues from the hotel, so imagine waiting on that line, 3 separate times. Additionally, there was a concierge desk off to the side of the hotel, but no one was ever there. There are tons of hotels on the Vegas strip, i will not be back to THEHotel at Mandalay Bay, unfortunately. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Hotel with Access to Mandalay Beaches"
Great hotel, a little smaller than Mandalay so easier with check in/out. Very nice rooms-really appreciated having 1.5 bathrooms!!! A short cab ride/walk from the main hustle and bustle, but over all very convenient and nice. Would def stay here again.LOVED having access to the pools at Mandalay!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
We use to stay there all the time. Changed rooms 3 times. Kept up 1st night until 4am from the MIX lounge 33 floors above us. Standing water in the sink when we checked in, shower smelled terrible, had to call a plumber. Bar drinks were absolutely outrageous. Staff not as outgoing and happy as they use to be.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed with my husband and two daughters and had a great time using the pool, lazy river and outdoor area. It's quite far from the "center" of the strip, though the tram to NY/NY was very helpful. It was great to stay at THEhotel side of the Mandalay Bay, away from the casino and noise, but to get anywhere you had to walk right through the middle […] of all of that anyway. I found the hotel room and amenities excellent, but my room was not attended to for a day of my stays( no change of bed sheets, no cleaning of bath room: I found the towels I used still lying on the bath room floor; My bed was as messy as I left it in the morning for my meeting. ) …Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel for conference."
I went for a conference at Mandalay Bay. It was a little bit of a walk to conference area seemed like at least 10 minutes. They only had a handicap room so I didn't have a tub. Overall, room was very nice. They charge for coffee in your room.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Don't get the handicapped room unless necessary"
My first stay at THEhotel was about a week after they opened in 2003. The style of the hotel was great for that era, and things have been well-maintained, but the style of the rooms is no longer cutting edge the way they used to be. Having said that, the room was clean and well-appointed. We were in a huge hurry when we checked in so when I was asked […] if I was ok with a handicapped room I said yes. It wasn't a big deal at all but I know from staying in a non-handicapped room that the shower/tub situation is different and a bit more upscale. "TheHotel at Mandalay Bay"
Every room is a suite in TheHotel at Mandalay Bay. Rooms are nicely decorated and the bedrooms are separated from the living area. The staff and employees are very friendly. I always love TheHotel when I'm with a big group bc all the rooms have 1.5 baths and a separate living room. (Great for a big group of girls all getting ready at the same time and going to bed at different times.) The casino at Mandalay is good, room service is also good. Very nice. But VERY NOISY. We heard reviews this was the problem - and it's true. We were on the 27th floor and could hear the night club ALL NIGHT LONG until 5am. It was horrible. I was very disappointed with the lack of upgrades The Hotel has done since my last stay 10 years ago. "Got an upsell too a penthoise"
On checkin, the hotel desk offered an "upgrade" to a penthouse for $100 a night (bringing the room cost up to $265 - still cheap). The appointments in the penthouse room were disappointing - had to call for a refridgerator, the flat screen TVs had no HDMI, but the view was fabulous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We got a great price on a King suite at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay-it was a beautiful room, very large bathroom, and excellent service. We never felt that we were treated differently for having booked through hotels.com. Our housekeeper even sent us home with extra slippers and toiletries before we checked out-it was a nice surprise! The casino is very […] open and smoke free, so it didn't seem grimy at all. We didn't see any shows, but there was always something going on with the hotel, lots of live music and entertainment. We ate one night in the House of Blues bar and grill inside the casino, and it was delicious and fairly priced. Mandalay Bay is the far south end of the strip, but there's a free tram that takes you to Luxor and Excalibur so it drops you off right in the middle of the action, but it's still easy to drive down and park at Fashion Show mall or Bellagio if you want to walk the strip. Our room was on the 3rd floor so we didn't have a cool outside view, but we didn't really mind bc it was rainy and we were only there for a couple days. Overall we had an exceptional experience. Besides the factors in the title of this review, the Hotel at M.B. provides a relatively quiet, non-Vega-like facility right in the middle of all the typical Vegas action.
