Disappointing, not getting the room as promised. Security concern, was shock to find the supposed hotel gardener climbing from my 3rd floor balcony to another balcony to do gardening work instead of asking permission to come from the front door. Fortunately, my wife was with my teenage daughter on this occasion. THis was a perfect hotel after a long trip. Kuta is very intense in terms of a party,street hawker scene. But the hotel was peaceful, clean, comfortable and safe. We were there just one night and the family room with queen bed and two singles was spacious and just what we needed. Breakfast buffet was spectacular.

Everything is good about this hotel. 1 drawback is the bathroom tiles is the smooth surface instead of the matte surface type, hence it gets rather slippery after shower. I travelled with a young kid, i would have expected hotel provided me with an easier access rooms but instead hotel provided me a room on 2nd floor with no elevator.

Good place to stay if you want a cheaper option close to the airport (and close to Australians). Good pool, and conveniently close to airport. We only stayed one night and needed a late check out but they were fully booked but they allowed us to store our luggage and use the rest of the facilities for day which was wonderful as we had a very late flight. The restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful and we really loved the quality and price of the food.

I booked a superior room for 11 nights. The room was very comfortable, and there were no excessive noise levels. All the staff were very pleasant and it was noticeable that without exception they made a point of speaking when they passed or met you. Staff aren't as friendly and welcoming as other hotels I have been to. Free wifi is advertised on the front sign but it doesn't work properly unless you're in the lobby and continuously cuts out. This hotel is in a great central location. Only five minutes from the airport and a ten minute walk into the heart of Kuta. However, this is a hotel that we will not recommend and will not return to. Reception staff we found unfriendly and inefficient. We waited so long for our luggage (and us) to be taken to our room. When departing on an evening flight, […] we had informed reception of the time of our departure and the time our luggage was to be collected by the porter. We waited and waited and decided to take our own luggage down the slippery tiled wet, two flights of stairs. Whilst doing this two male employees walked past us on their way to reception and didn't offer to help, one just asked if we were leaving and from which room number. The hotel shuttle was 10 minutes late as well. When checking out at reception, there was a band playing about two metres away from the reception desk. Not easy to hear or to be heard. This was our last stop in Bali and the only hotel we would not return to. More staff training is certainly required. Very disapointing. Read more

Febris is centrally located for Kuta - short walks to Waterbom, Discovery Plaza and Kuta itself. Staff were fantastic, friendly and quick to assist. Pool was fine, not huge but never seemed busy. No swim up bar which is a perk in larger hotels. There was a lot of construction going on around it - made for a bit of noise from early on in the morning, […] especially for some of our party staying towards the back of the hotel. One drawback to the hotel is that, since the grounds aren't large, you can see/ hear the traffic from the poolside and the restaurant area where you have breakfast is right next to the road. It did mean that you didn't get a feeling of being right away from it all as is possible in some hotels with the long driveways from the road. The rooms were suitable sizes and very clean. We had a deluxe room, top floor overlooking the pool. The bathroom was large but lacked the benefit of a seperate shower since it had a bath with hand shower attachment - did the job but less swanky than other hotels I've stayed at. It was however well priced for the short trip, some great restaurants nearby, central, super staff and a fantastic spa with well priced packages which are a must if you stay anywhere near Kuta! staff helpful and willing. Standard room was very basic ie, no table or chairs to sit at or cupboards to put things in. Kingsize bed mattress was too hard. Booked a Quadruple/Family room for 3 Adults for two nights at the end of a 12 day trip to Bali. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Buffet Breakfast included in the room rate was plentiful, lots of choice and good quality. Restaurant area of the hotel was nice - a tranquil setting right beside the hustle/bustle of the main road. On our last morning […] we had to leave for the airport before breakfast. The hotel provided us with a packed breakfast the evening before check-out (boiled eggs, bread, butter and orange juice). While we appreciated the thought, it was not an easy combination to prepare and eat before leaving our room and it was too difficult to take with us - perhaps a muffin/croissant or similar would have been better in the circumstances. Reception Staff were all friendly and helpful. We appreciated the complimentary drop-off to the airport for our early-morning departure. The Spa/Massage was excellent and reasonably priced - lovely facilities and very friendly girls. The Febri's was in a convenient location for last-minute shopping on our last day and just a short drive to the airport for a very early morning departure. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised that they took effort to remember us. I found the hotel to be central to Discovery Centro, few minutes walk and 10 minutes to Kuta with plenty to look at on the way. I took my 3 daughters and we all had a 4 hr massage package which was wonderful, well worth it. The service was good, ordered the Nasi Goreng about 3 times to the room.
