We chose this hotel because of its location just a few blocks from the train station. While the immediately surrounding neighborhood isn't very attractive, it did seem safe. The hotel was also a short walking distance from the modern art museum, several lovely parks, the KO shopping district, and the Rhein. Great service, the staff were very helpful and freindly!! but not a great value for us, breakfast was extra too! The hotel was fairly close to the train station and many restaurant near by. No entertainment channel in english is provided. Very nice and clean room but just above travelodge quality.

The hotel locate just 5 minute by tram, very close to train station which is very convenient. Hotel gives free 1 days pass using public transportation even to the airport is a plus. The room is small but ok for 1 night stay, many restaurant near by, and even a mall near by.

This is our third visit to this hotel. It is in a good position, five minutes walk from the Main Railway Station and handy for the town. Trams are available from the next corner and the hotel gives you a free travel ticket to use these. The hotel does not have much in the way of facilities and only serves breakfast; but there is an excellent Turkish […] Restaurant next door. The rooms are basic, but clean and have most of the items required, the cleaning staff and reception staff are very friendly. The rooms do not have tea and coffee facilties unless you pay extra (we always take our own travel kettle etc.) Don't be put off by the antiquated lift and staircase, the rooms are much better. Dusseldorf is a great place to visit, there are so many lovely shops, although on most people's budget it is only window shopping. The Galeria Kaufhof (a bit like our House of Fraser) is on the next corner and they have a good restaurant. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and if it is cold, several shopping malls - again the shops are vey chic. A three or four night stay is ideal, especially in the winter. The German infastructure is brilliant, trams and trains run all the time (usual German punctuality) and the journey from the airport is easy. I can recommend the hotel and the city to any travellers. I have used a lot of hotels in Dusseldorf over the last 20-odd years for business. They all tend to be very well run, clean establishments. What sets the Mitte apart is; a) fantastic service from English-speaking staff and b) free public transport for the duration of your stay. This alone saved me nearly £100.The location - near the station - is close […] enough to walk into the Altstadt or to the Rhine, but far enough from some of the noisier, seedier roads in the immediate vicinity of the station. Pretty good hotel in reasonable walking distance from Hauptbahnhof and Konigsalle. Stayed for 2 nights in early December. Reception were very friendly and spoke excellent English as my German is pretty poor. Was allowed to check in at 9:30 am which was pretty good. Room was clean and tidy if a bit small. For me the location is not that important as I love to travel on public transport, however it is relatively central being almost half way between the main train station and shopping areas, a 5 minute walk takes you to the local u-bhan […] station and from there you have access to almost all of Düsseldorf and the surrounding districts. On both occasions I have obtained a free pass for public transport which saves time and money on getting around. I was working in the north of Düsseldorf close to the airport but again the public transport system is second to none making distance almost irrelevant, The hotel is clean and very comfortable, and at three stars is, in my opinion, a little under rated, I’ve stayed in much more expensive hotels in Europe with less comfort. Everything I needed was there especially for a business trip and for a relatively low cost, for me the hotel is a means to and end a place to sleep and freshen up, and this hotel ticked all the boxes, and some. My only criticism was the lack of wireless internet in the rooms, but to be honest I managed without it on this occasion but in the future and for a longer stay this may be an issue, that said I didn’t look into it too much and there may well have been an option all be it at extra cost Read more

Exceptional value for money. We stayed for 2 nights December 2010 to visit the Christmas market. A pleasant 10 minute walk will take you into the old town with all the stalls and you go down Konigsallee (the posh road) and dream about the designer purchases on the way. I stayed at the Mitte Hotel with my son In September 2010 and i found the staff very helpful, they recommended a day trip to Koln (Cologne) which was very easy to get to by train using the free pass they gave us. On arrival was greeted by friendly staff. Hotel was average but value for money paid.Rooms were clean but we did have small holes in bedding. Only bad point if you dont have a comfort room no kettle. About 10 -15min walk from Alt stadt and other shops just round corner. A few restaurants in sorounding area if you dont want to walk far.

Für einen Kurztripp Ideal. Vom Hauptbahnhof sind es 10 min zu Fuß. Die Altstadt und die Kö sind ebenfalls in 10 min zu erreichen. Toll ist auch das Ticket für die Bus und Bahn. Плюсы: удобное расположение - 10 минут до ж/д вокзала пешком или 2 остановки на трамвае, минут 6 до Кёнигс Аллее, а оттуда прогуляться до старого города, выдается карточка на проезд в общественом транспорте. Из минусов нам достался маленький номер, но судя […] по схемам есть номера больше, в районе много турецких и других восточных заведений, но это на любителя. А в целом, если вы проводите в отеле только ночи, а днем путешествуете, то очень даже хорошо. Номер убирался каждый день, все на честном слове, даже паспорт не спросили при заселении.
