A little musty but that is to be expected on the Cape. Once we aired it out it waas fine.

The price and location was the reason that I stayed at the Town and CountryThe bed was extremely hard and was difficult to sleep in.

It was great for the money and perfect location where we can visit other towns. This hotel needs improvement, but while we were there we asked them to do a thorough cleaning and to change a tile in the bathroom and they were very accommodating to us and very proffessional and very frendly.

I went to Cape Cod for a softball tournamnet. I didn't expect it to rain all weekend. I spent more time in the hotel than I anticipated. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean and working fine. Complimentary coffee in the reception area made it unnecessary to leave the area. A breakfat restaurant was located right next door. The maid service was outstanding. New soap and towels delivered daily. I was pleasantly surprised.

For the Cape Cod area, this is a decent motel/hotel. Most mo/hotels in this area have at least 1 or 2 pools, and this mo/hotel is no exception. 3 pools total, 2 outside, 1 inside, all well kept. Well lit parking lot, free coffee in lobby, ample sized rooms for price, refrigerator in rooms. Beds were OK for price. Clean(looking) sheets. Enough towels for 2 people. Now to the negatives...in our room the tub was fairly dirty looking/stained. There is bar soap for sink and bath. Small TV. Worn furniture(chairs, tables). But, for the cape this is a decent sleeping spot. Comparable to local places to stay. 3 out of 5(adjusted for local standards)

The hotel and it's staff were exelent. The stay was far more then what we expected, for the money that we paied. The pool and the rooms were very clean. I will definatley come back next year. And Marline the house keeper was an apsolute peach The..Buchanans and.........MARK

Loved outdoor heated pool and indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. restaraunts and convenience stores within feet of the motel. refrigerator in the room,full bathroom and very spacious room. Loved it!

The motel exceeded my expectations. Although not a new motel, it is clearly well-maintained and in the continual process of upkeep. The lobby building is on the main street and the motel buildings are behind this so you don't hear the traffic. Plenty of places to shop & eat and fun activities nearby on the same street. Plus three pools at the motel! We stayed during a rainy weekend and still had a wonderful fun time. Would definately stay again!

The room was clean, smelled fresh, and had plenty of extra towels! The price was very resonable for the time of year that we booked, and We will stay there again next year!

Hotel was conveniently located, however the rooms I found to be outdated and not so clean!!!! I would not recommend a stay if you r looking for luxury or romance

I had a great stay there. The only thing I thought was wrong was there was a musty smell that was pretty strong. With the air on it almost went away.

There are better hotels around Cape Cod with this price. #Non-smoking room smells like CHIMNEY #Booked two non-smoking rooms and got only ONE #Sleeping on the bed sounds like I am sleeping on a bed of plastic. Every time I turned, it made awful sound of plastic and old bed frame #Couldn't sleep with all night long group sex session next room. The wall is good enough to stop any low level noise from the next room

The price was right and we were only there to sleep for a few hours. Kept our clothes on. Damp floor, broken door lock, one outlet to use - wouldn't stay there alone but for our purpose it was ok.

For what we paid - we can't complain - but I will. The beds were horrible. Every time my husband turned in his sleep (which he does often) the bed made the loudest noise. We used the pull out sofa which obviously hadn't been cleaned because it had an old smelly shirt in it. And the tub was clogged.

We returned to this hotel because of the location and price. We rent cottages on the Cape in the summer, but this was a quick mid week trip to spend a few days away and experience the pleasures that Cape Cod has to offer. The best thing this trip was the indoor pool has been refinished, nothing fancy, but bright and clean. We were disappointed in the lack of friendliness of the desk staff. They were basically businesslike, which is OK, but when we got locked out of the pool and game room area early evening, they didn't seem to believe us. They were not apologetic that we had to walk around the outside of the hotel in barefeet to get to the office, to have them unlock the door. Even when the desk rep. found the door was indeed locked, he said nothing! But the room was clean, though showing its' wear, but we were pleased with what we got for what we paid.

Hotel may have been OK in the 70's or 80's when it was apparently last updated. While seemingly clean on the surface, room was very musty smelling, beds were uncomfortable, and the TV was very outdated. The bathroom has no fan and really needs some ventallation as everything is wet and the floor is just plain gross feeling after a shower. The exteriors of the buildings were no better.

For the money the room was OK. It is a good place to stay if you will be out most of the day. Not comfortable to stay in on a rainy day.

greeted very rudely told there was no kindsize bed when hotel personel working on room service told me there was kingsize beds avaiable 2nd day there upon returning to room after day out room was not cleaned no new towels called front office was told they would bring towels to room when they brought towels was told girl didnot feel like cleaning room after showering went out for supper when we came back bed was made and room was clean. also gave us room in back of motel 2nd floor when plenty of rooms were avaiable on 1st floor in front they told me none were avaible on 1st floor

Basic, great location, economical

Excellent this place is, and friendly staff and personnell. A note to consider, after departure, I sought to stay a second week, and was informed that "locals are not rented to" hence an unknown prejudice. The stay was a fantastic experience, and I recommend this location highly. Flying in from South America and out to England, because I am a resident of Massachusetts, I could not stay the following week, hence interrupted planning at home. Perhaps this should be noted in Hotels.com to prevent such a scenario if someone pays for and arrives late, counting on said lodging. This applies to Massachusetts residents only. Call it what you may, my editorial refers to it as corporate prejudism, I will leave out all the jokes and puns that spun from this disappointing discovery.

we happened to get to the hotel a day early so we paid regular rate wich was still a reasonable price and had a clean comfortable room 2 double beds small pull out couch etc. told we would have to check out of that room and recheck back in the following day per our original reservation, not a big deal - well when we checked back in we got a room on the backside of the hotel the room was musty, stained carpet I never took my shoes off.in horrible disrepair I couldnt believe they actually still used these rooms.

Town and country is located nearby many places of interest and convenience, and absolutely friendly service. I am a local Cape Codder who stayed nearby a work contract, hence my experience here. Special thanks to Housekeeping for all you did, and check in, also my thanks. The pool is excellent, as are the grounds. My references are good for this hotel, as I compare with about 200 nights per year in hotels worldwide. Town and country is top shelf in it's category..Thank You.

Staying in area for a clubs district event. Cost was a big issue for us. This was the least expensive rate I could find. We prepared for the worst, and were pleasantly surprised! The room was very clean and fresh smelling. Furniture, woodwork etc was worn, but that was not priority for me. Great Hot water pressure in the shower was! Young lady on the desk was less than enthusiastic, but everyone else seemed pleasant! Parking can be an issue sometimes, be prepared to do a little walking. I would return.

I thought after being in the military I could sleep anywhere.....I was wrong! Have you ever tried to sleep in a bed without touching the bedding? I had to "tip" the maid to even get towels. The ice machine had a warning about placing foreign objects in it....but it was always locked. Oh and don't let me forget to mention that there were three security cameras aimed at my window.Trust me it's not worth saving a couple of bucks to stay here!

We stayed at the Town & Country both in July and in August. In July, the room we had was not the best. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and the bathtub looked very old and not very clean. We were going to stay at a different hotel in August but when shopping around found there was nothing even close in that price range. We decided to take another chance and stay there again. To our suprise the second room we had was much better and well maintained. We were very satisfied with the service and the condition of the room. The location is great and close to many attractions. The hotel had discounts for many attractions and restaurants in the area. We would stay there again. Mary Ellen, R. I.

The staff was very friendly and service was good. I would have preferred having the chaises by the pool spaced better to allow for more walking room.

Room was decent - curtains did not work fully and one of our lights did not turn on. It is a fine place to stay if you are just planning on sleeping - not the type of place to hang around the hotel for too long.

Great hotel for the money,just needed more lighting for the room size

My room was on the shabby side, with a dampish feeling carpet, and an unpleasant smell. It might have been a smoking room in the past. I think many of the rooms have undergone renovations, so your luck may be better. The motel was full, so I reminded myself often of the low rate, plus we didn't plan to spend much time in our room anyway. While the bathroom was small, the rest of the space was roomy, with a sofa, two chairs, and small table.

good for showering and sleeping. It is quiet and the people working there are very nice. Good for kids with indoor and outdoor pools. rooms are quiet, no noise from neighbors. but don't expect ANY luxury. one day they forgot to clean the room and by the time we came home it was just too late to complain - should have and they would've cleaned but at midnight who wants to wait outside while they do that. fine, just bring a couple extra of your own towels. i wore flip flops in the room and bathroom, just to feel, well on the clean side. but a great location to all beaches etc and for the price - none of the nearby places are much better unless you want to pay a lot more.

Just a stones throw from Hyannis, the hotels location was the best part. The rooms were well used and smelled musty. If you have allergies to molds and mildew, don't go here. The price was excellent for this time of year. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and we liked Molly's the best. Two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, was a neat feature. If you decide to go here know that your staying in an older hotel and you get what you pay for.

When we first checked in, we were put in a room that reeked of animal urine. I insisted that they move us. The second room had under gone a renovation but still had a strange order. We were not in the room that much but it could have been cleaned and deodorized to aid in the smell.

Motel is aged but maintained. The room was in fair condition, but bring your own pillows. If you only need a place to shower and sleep, at this price this place is for you.

Overall, the stay was fine. There were just little things that detract from the hotel. The room had an odd smell (kind of like old people or a old house that had been shut up for a while.) There were moldy water spots on the ceiling both in the bathroom and the room itself. The mattresses were on the hard side though the bedding was clean. The pools (there were 3!) were great. The indoor pool was great in case it rains but the room in which the pool is housed is super hot! So it's not the pool that's heated, it's the room. There is a cool little game room with video games and vending. Convenient location to restaurants, the mall, etc. Overall a decent stay.

WE found the room to be very convenient. It sure suited our needs. The housekeeping was very good.The handiness of the refrigerator was great. We would recommend this hotel to others. Everything is in walking distance too. Thank you for a great stay. We hope to be able to stay here again.

After booking the most inexpensive hotel room I could find on the Cape,due to low finances, I felt dismayed at what I would find. What I did find was a great place with 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, and a small but efficient hot tub. Check in and out was a breeze. At the height of the tourist season, I was also surprised that it was so quiet. Would definitely recommend!
