The hotel and staff are wonderful and we will definitely stay there on our next visit to Barcelona! The room was very clean and neat and the daily maid service was exceptional. The front desk staff was very professional and courteous. Wi-Fi in the room was excellent. Walking out of the hotel and looking up at the Cathederal every morning was surreal. Beautiful hotel and wonderful location!

The hotel was clean and neat, the staff very helpful, and the bathroom was great. We also found the price fair and reasonable. The view out of the back of the hotel was not the best- apartment back porches and dirty laundry, so keep the curtains closed.

Stayed for a five night family vacation. Our room for three was very nice with a king bed and sofa bed. Efficiency kitchen with dishes and silverware and cookware. Compact refrigerator. Very well located in Eixample neighborhood one block from metro station. Easy walk to many restaurants and the Passieg Gracia or upper part of the Rambla Cataluna. However the BEST was the service of the front desk. Whatever the request they were ceaseless in their efforts to please and accommodate. Information, directions, recommendations for eating and transportation, ticketing. The staff could not do enough for us. This is service that is rare to find in the amenities industry: a true personal touch. My family can heartily recommend the Acacia Suites for a Barcelona vacation. The only negative for some is that it is not located directly on Plaza Cataluna or the Rambla but if you want a quieter neighborhood, with a local feel it is a very nice place.

Impressive hotel, exceeded our expectations. Rooftop terrace beautiful, but sometimes crowded due to the fact it is open to the public. We would return regardless.

"Great hotel just outside centre"
The Hotel was easy to get to and the staff were friendly and polite. Room was lovely and always well cleaned. Location of hotel was 5 mins from Selva de Mar metro station and 10 mins from centre of Barcelona - good if you want to be just outside but within striking distance. Restaurant food good and reasonable for a-la-carte and breakfast catered for […] all tastes - plentiful amounts for all and not bad at E10.70 per person (you could get cheaper in Barcleona but not the quantity and quality). Only criticism was on one night it took almost 3 hours to serve 3 course meal - however, an unexpected thunderstorm erupted over Barcelona causing eveyone to pile into restaurant and only 1 cook was on so he/she handled situation with patience and skill! "Could be better but good for the money"
As long as you don't mind traveling for 30 min between the hotel and city centre, the place is OK. It's a quiet residence area. The room is clean but the internet service is crap. We didn't have access to internet for 2 days due to their network broke down. On the first night when we arrived ( at about 00:00, I called the reception for 15 min but couldn't […] get through), therefore the service could be improved. Shower is OK, except the temp of the water sometime was unpredictable - be prepared to get a hot shock on your head. At last, the room we stayed was just beside lift therefore sometime was noisy. Despite we stayed for the whole week, the staffs seem unwilling to change room for us although I have asked twice whether it was possible and always let me to check again next morning - is it really that hard to check their booking system to see if there's a spare room available next morning or not? Overall it's still a good bargain for the price, but I don't think I myself would go back ... Read more
"Probably perfect for business but a little too out of the way for pleasure"
Nothing specifically to complain about, but generally unimpressed with the hotel overall. There's nowhere to hang out near the hotel at night or even grab a drink. The pool is pretty small and in the shade of the giant billboard on top of the building for a good portion of the day. Not enough sun loungers or space on the roof for the number of guests. The reviews already posted are accurate. The hotel is ok but the location is poor, things just don't come together to make it a 4 star. My room was small but clean but a man at breakfast claimed he had to clear a nest of spiders out of the shower before his wife would go near it. Staff doesn't seem to know area.
"no concept of customer service"
first of all after a long journey it was a nightmare to locate the hotel. the location was run down n we felt very disappointed. but our disappointment did not end there, hotel customer service was appaling. considering that we had a baby with us we had to literally beg reception for a kettle. another incident was when our baby started crying in the […] night, the guest in the next room started banging his wall, the next day we informed the reception and their response was 'it is not hotel's fault'. overall very disappointing. would never recommend this place to amyone. "badly located modern hotel"
Like the other reviews said, this hotel is nice in itself, but is not well located. The hotel seems very commercial. What annoyed me is that they charged over 17 euros for internet for a day.

"Prima geslapen"
Prima hotel als je lekker en rustig wilt slapen voor een schappelijk prijs (voor een 4*hotel) in Barcelona. Kamer netjes maar echt alles zat los of hing scheef. Het 'open karakter' van de badkamer/toilet (net geen matglas) leverde veel hilariteit op bij onze puberzoons.

"Dejligt hotel med rigtig god service!"
Det er et rigtigt dejligt og velfungerende hotel. med god service over alt, moderne rooms, mulighed for fitness, sauna og pool. Dejig og meget varierende morgenbuffet! Så alt ialt et rart sted at være! Beligenhed ikke så pæn,gammelt industrikvarter som er under forandring, med fint indkøbscenter og med hotellerne Hilton, Princess og Marriott omkring […] sig. Rommet var stort, veldig bra rengjort og grei løsning på rom og bad. Sengene var litt harde for min smak, og det er ikke gratis wifi, men ellers fornøyd med det. Resepsjonen var hjelpsom, men treg. "Einfach perfekt!"
Also zuerst möchte ich sagen, wer sagt, dass man Nachts nicht zum Hotel kommt und ein Taxi nehmen musst, dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen! Es fahren 2 verschiedene Stadtbusse zum Hotel, undzwar die GANZE Nacht!Egal wo man ist, man kommt locker zum Hotel. Dazu möchte ich noch sagen, wer sich beschwert hat, dass der Weg zu der Bahn vom Hotel aus 20minuten […] betragen würde, dem ist wohl auch nicht mehr zu helfen, vorallem weil die meisten geschrieben haben, dass die Haltestelle "Selva de Mar" wäre. Klar, wenn man zu der Haltestelle läuft, dann ist man wohl selber Schuld :) direkt um die Ecke von Hotel ist nämlich die METRO-Station "El Maresme/Forum", die direkt ins Zentrum, sprich zur Rambla und dem Gothic Viertel fährt. So, nun zu dem Hotel. Ich war dort mit meinem Freund zusammen und wir waren wirklich direkt begeistert. Das Hotel sieht schon von außen sehr schön aus, die Rezeption hat uns sehr nett ( auf deutsch) empfangen und wir konnten direkt mal auf Kosten des Hauses auf der Dachterrasse ein Bierchen trinken. Dort ist auch der Pool, welcher wirklich sehr sauber war. Die Zimmer sind groß genug und es gibt dort wirklich alles was man braucht. Wer hier schreibt, dass man für das TV schauen bezahlen muss, der ist wohl einfach zu blöd! Wir hatten alle möglichen Sender- RTL, EUROSPORT usw..und mussten natürlich nichts dafür bezahlen! Die Gegend war auch super angenehm, es gibt gleich um die Ecke ein riesen Einkaufszentrum (das größte Barcelonas), wo man wirklich alles bekommt! Von dort aus sind es auch nur einige Meter bis zum Meer! Man kann die Promenade von dort aus auch runter laufen und kommt direkt zum Barceloneta ( dem angesagteren Strandabschnitt) in der Stadt. Wir wollten eher unsere Ruhe und sind immer an unserem Strandabschnitt geblieben. Ett hotell med fin design. Nära till stranden och bra kommunikationer till centrum. Bara 15 min med T-bana eller spårvagn. Perfekt läge för oss som ville bada på förmiddagen och åka till stan på eftermiddagen.

"Hotel Tryp Condal Mar mit super Aussicht auf Barca"
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel, vorallem mit dem Design und der Einrichtung. Die Architektur war auch sensationell, Zimmer im Halbkreis ergibt einfach ein spezielles Flair! Der Swimmingpool auf dem Dachgeschoss war in Kombination mit der Aussicht wundervoll! Die Umgebung beunruhigte uns am Anfang, man meinte man sei im tiefsten Ghetto-Viertel, […] dies war jedoch nicht so. Eine altes Industrie-Viertel mit alten Gebäuden. Sehr unangenehm war der Fitnessraum im Hotel, dieser erwies sich als veraltet und nicht gebrauchbar. Fanden wir sehr schade, da das Hotel einen sehr sehr neuen und frischen Eindruck hinterlies. Geräte austauschen mit welchen die Gebrauchbar sind! Die Internetlösung im Hotel könnte man auch überlegen - kann auch sein das ich damit auch überfordert war. Schlussendlich waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel jedem Weiter empfehlen! PS: Strand 5min zu Fuss erreichbar, tolle Strand Bars mit Restaurant. Prima hotel in een trieste omgeving. Het is een zakelijk hotel wat zich in elke stad had kunnen bevinden. Prima kamers en uitstekend ontbijt. Het kleine zwembad op de hoogste verdieping is comfortabel - met de ligstoelen eromheen, maar het is er erg winderig! De omgeving is industrieel - scrapyard om de hoek en familie Roma's. 10 minuten lopen en […] je bent bij het congresscentrum, enorme mall (diagonal mar) en de andere kant op 15 min metro en tram. Das Hotel ist im großen und ganzen sehr schicke und nett gestaltet. Allerdings ist die Lage leider nicht wirklich gut. Sehr weit von der Stadt entfernt. Um das Hotel nur Industrieanlagen.

"Lækker hotel i kedeligt kvarter"
Absolut acceptabelt hotel med fine værelser og ganske glimrende morgen buffet. Betjeningen var rar og venlig. Det eneste minus er beliggenheden, som ikke ligefrem er inspirerende, men absolut tålelig. Heldigvis tager det kun 15 min at komme ind til centrum med Metro, som ligger lige rundt om hjørnet.

Tres agréable séjour a l'hôtel tryp condal mar. Pas de problèmes de bruits et bon accueil ; Juste un problème de chauffage (a notre gout) trop chaud et pas la possibilité de le mettre plus bas . Le métro est a deux pas et vous conduit dans le centre de Barcelone. Sans aucun doute nous y reviendrons.

Jeg synes hotellet var for dyrt ift. hvad man fik for pengene. Ingen gratis internet - det kostede 9 euros i timen og værelset var i forvejen ikke billigt. Vær opmærksom på at den pris man betaler er for swimmingpoolen oppe på terrassen. Vær sikker på det er det værd... Det nærmeste nabolag var om aftenen ret tomt hvilket virkede lidt ubetryggende. Forferdelig dusj. Ustabilt varmt vann, skiftet mellom skoldende varmt og ok temperatur hele tiden. Ingen bemanning i baren på taket. Det er forøvrig ikke fint på taket, bildene er fine da... Blåser, kaldt vann, noen ganger musikk, andre ganger ikke. Restauranten var stengt under hele oppholdet vårt, 1 uke. Hyggelig personale i resepsjonen. Kort […] vei til metro. Hotellet ligger litt langt fra sentrum, men det er 5 min å gå til tbanen som er veldig ok, eller 10 EUR med taxi. Det er et kjøpesenter ca 10 min å gå fra hotellet, kan være verdt å ta en tur innom. Hotellet serverer ok mat, og godt øl. Bassenget er ikke oppvarmet og blir ganske kald på skyfulle dager. Men det er rent og pent. Trekk for at ikke alle […] heisene fungerer og at det er bare 3 heiser for så mange rom. Det er også ganske bråkete om natten hvis du har utsikt mot sentrum, da lokalbefolkning har piknikk rett utenfor hotelldøra på gressplenen. Spanjoler legger seg sent. Vi hadde ikke inkludert frokost men det finnes en liten kafe til høyre når du går ut av dæra, ca 2 min, en familie cafe, grei mat. Selve rommene var store og fine. Dit hotel is een prima betaalbaar alternatief. Alleen het ontbijt vind ik erg duur; we hebben in de buurt een bakker gezocht waar we heerlijke broodjes voor weinig kochten, en op een terras van een locaal koffiehuis goedkoop koffie en verse jus d'orange gedronken. Het dakterras was erg fijn, met zwembad en een mooi uitzicht. Verder vond ik het nogal […] zakelijk, en weinig persoonlijke benadering. Ook extra voorzieningen zoals internet en films vond ik erg duur. Wel netjes schoon en correct. De bewegwijzering had beter gekund, we hebben nogal lopen zoeken om het hotel te vinden vanaf de metro. Maar eenmaal gevonden was het op beloopbare afstand van de metro. Ligt bij een prachtig aangelegd park, Park Diagonal, en op loopafstand van het strand en van de Bus Touristique. De wijk waarin het hotel zich bevindt is nog erg in opbouw en renovatie, over een paar jaar zal het vast veel beter zijn. Algemene beoordeling: best redelijk, schone kamers en vriendelijk personeel. "Fint hotel, og fin afstand til centrum"
15 minutter med undergrund til centrum. 15 minutter til stranden. Fint værelse og gode forhold. Samtidig havnede vi i askeskeskyen og personalet var meget behjælpelige mht. at skaffe transport, bookninger af ekstra dage etc.

Même si l'hôtel est un peu excentré, le métro est à dix minutes à pieds et en quelques minutes on est au centre ville. Barcelone est une ville magnifique mais épuisante et l'éloignement de l'hôtel par rapport au tumulte de la ville est un point très appréciable pour pouvoir récupérer au mieux des journées passées à arpenter la ville dans tous les sens. […] Un petit moment de farniente au bord de la piscine ou au hammam est un vrai plus. Et pour ceux qui ont encore de l'énergie il est aussi possible de faire du vélo, du rameur ou de la musculation à la salle de sport de l'hôtel. Les chambres sont spacieuses, modernes et très propres. Le restaurant de l'hôtel propose une carte raffinée et inventive. Le personnel est très agréable, serviable et de bons conseils. Le parking privé de l'hôtel est très abordable: 9€ pour la journée, ce qui est vraiment moins cher que les parkings municipaux (il faut compter environ 15€ pour 5heures). Nous repartirons sans hésiter dans cet hôtel pour notre prochain séjour à Barcelone nous n'avons vraiment pas été déçu! Read more

Bilder entsprechen der Realität.Pool auf dem Dach ist wirklich super. Jedoch ist die Zimmereinrichtung nur auf Luxus gemacht,aber billig Produziert. Wassergeräusche (z.B. vom Badewannen einlaufen oder duschen) sind sehr laut zu hören. Essen im Hotel sehr teuer(Frühstück ca 11€, etc.).
