We have traveled all over the United States. We have stayed in some dumps but this has to be the best of the best! Very clean, frendly service and great... breakfast minus the bacon, ham meats? So if all we have to complain about is not having breakfast on the bar this would be rated a 5 star! I would have rated this hotel an overall 5 had it not been that they completely forgot to clean our room and we had to come back after a LONG day to a complete and utter mess. This is the best motel we have found in the Akron area for comfort and amenities, is is priced lower than "comparable" motels. We need to be in the Akron area every CHristmas, and finding a motel as good as this one is a blessing. The included breakfast isn't "fancy" like many places in "tourist" areas, but still good. A GPS will give you incorrect […] directions for entering the motel from Route 8, be aware of it. You need to go to the stoplight past the driveway indicated by the GPS on Steels Corner Road after turning left from the highway, and then go north to the driveway. We stayed for a weekend and it was overall a great night. Even though the hotel is next to a emergency room, you couldn't really hear too much of the traffic going by. Bed was extremely comfortiable and bathroom well kept. Will stay there again!

I stayed for two days. I enjoyed the hotel, and the staff was very friendly! The breakfast was great! Much more offered than what I expected! One minor issue was the noise for this room - we were next door to the kitchen, so there was a bit of noise early every morning. I would still gladly stay here again - just would ask for another room!

We had a nice room, very clean, no residual odors. The bed felt great. I was impressed with the cabinet area under the sink that had ample towels and paper goods stocked. I was a little disappointed to have neither a microwave nor fridge in a room like this, as we had splurged a bit. Our daughter was catching a cold and had bought soup to microwave. […] We arrived late hoping to be able to stay in, but we could not heat her soup so we had to go out again to find something else at an hour when choices were limited. Without a fridge we could not chill leftovers or store pop. The breakfast service and server were superb. It was great to have a friendly human being come around and replenish the food and chat with the guests. There's a very nice area for breakfast. Hotel and room very clean; staff is friendly. Our only complaint about Hampton Inn (all locations) is not able to get the room to cool down below 68F. Which makes for a uncomfortable very warm night.

They claimed there was a local issue but not sure this was true. 2. Room appeared pretty clean but there was a used wash cloth hanging from the shower curtain. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We received a call from the front desk about 30 minutes after checking in asking us how our room was. The breakfast was good and changed daily. The pool and spa were clean and a good size. We will stay here again.

Stayed overnight, room very comfortable. Location great very near many shopping areas. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. Comp. breakfast was better than most served elsewhere. Only negative was that we were wakened at 5am by person in room above us walking around in what sounded like lead boots.

I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wished to stay in the area. My husband and I stayed there last weekend to attend a wedding in the area. Not only was it close to a few resturants (TGI Fridays and Texas Roadhouse) but down the street there was also a strip mall. The hotel staff was very friendly and even came to our room one day to make sure […] that everything was fine and we did not need anything. The free breakfast was also a plus. The room is clean and attractive and the service desk staff very nice. The bed had the egg carton foam on top, which I don't find comfortable. The breakfast is okay, nothing stellar.
