Be Live Hamaca Beach - All Inclusive - Boca Chica

This is the 3rd year I have spent a week at Hamaca Be Live, and it is getting worse and worse, the rooms are completelly run down, the bathroom's fixtures are completelly rusty, there was a leak in the closet, probably the condensation of the A/C. The room smells humid, the refrigerator was rusty inside and out, not enough towels unless we ask for them..In […] 2011 we stayed in an Ocean View room and it was fantastic, I went back on 2012 Garden View and it was the worse experience ever. No towels at all, no water only 6 bottles of beer, the courtain in the bathroom was ripped and half way on the floor, the T.V small and the smell was terrible all day long. Now 2013 Ocean View Deluxe and it was not impresive at all. Food ....no variety as it use to have, and the 1rst day all the hot dishes were cold. Extremely poorly managed hotel. Out of the 8 different phone numbers we could call from room (housekeeping, reception, medical service etc.) not ONE worked. Upon checking in (tuesday 9pm) we requested a bucket of ice. We got the ice 27 hours later. My room (332) had a very old tv(not a flat screen). The furniture was chipped and the back board was broken. Every room is suppose to have a stocked mini bar. Ours was empty the first two days. The bathroom had mold everywhere. It was a wonderful resort, the service was great. The only downside is that the lights go out often and the back-up generators take about five minutes to start up. On my first night the lights went out while I was in the hallway on my way to the room. So scary. I would consider going else where if thats a problem.

Housekeeping was marginal (thread on bath floor when we arrived was still there 4 days later when we left); clean bath towels were provided each day but not always hand towels and/or bath mat. When I stay at an All Inclusive, my expectations are that the food will be good and varied. At the Hamaca Beach Resort it is neither. Same food at the buffet day after day and the food at the "restaurant" was unbearable.I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Be advised.
