The hotel itself is beautiful, has free parking, and a delicious breakfast along with a lovely restaurant. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately on the 3rd day of our stay we were yelled at by a woman for moving a lounge chair by the pool. We later found out that she was the owner. While she and her daughter both worked […] at the hotel and passed by us on a daily basis, neither once said hello to us, asked us how our stay was, or thanked us for staying at their hotel. Our only communication with them was being yelled at for moving a chair to accommodate another guest. The other negative was the many stairs. Like many hotels in the area, it is built into the side of a cliff and there are many stairs to go up and down, in order to get to the pool and swimming area. This is fine for couples, but we had our 2 year old daughter with us, so it wasn't great for her. Read more

Beautiful hotel, ideally situated on the Amalfi Coast. Swimming pool used in October as well as swimming in the sea, easy access from hotel. Food good, service excellent, strongly recommend hotel to others.

We spent 12 days in the hotel in August 2912. Our room had a wonderful view on the sea and we kept the window open to hear the waves crushing against the walls. It was a delightful experience. The staff made us so welcome, we thought we were amongst friends. They answered all our questions and helped us in every way possible. My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and must agree with previous reviews that the hotel is in a wonderful location right on the waterfront built into the rockface. However because of its location it is not suitable for the elderly,young children, infirm or disabled. There are many steps both within the hotel itself and down to all levels […] for the pools, sundecks, etc. You definitely need a car to get around as the hotel itself is some 6km from Ravello, and although on the local bus route nowhere can be reached on foot so unless you have a car you are restrained to the hotel amenities. The hotel is quite quirky in its design and room themes which are all nautical but be aware that the rooms are small and the bathrooms tiny with no baths as advertised. There is a shower in all bathrooms but again this is 'small.' My husband was looking forward to fishing on site as advertised but this is not available. Its sunbathing or nothing at the hotel although trips can be arranged. Te hotel staff are very friendly and and I would recommend this hotel if you want a short break away from everything. Read more

Helpful staff. Super surroundings. Really relaxing. Excellent food. We will go back soon. Despite the twisting roads and the Italian drivers this is an excellent base to visit the coastal regions about Amalfi and to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius and the museums in Naples. The views are beautiful.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. It provides free shuttle to the closet biggest town, Amalfi is superb! If it can provide or install free anti-mosquitoes repellent will be excellent. The hotel is perfectly located with very easy access to the sea (very important in that area and unlike most others). Facilities are excellent with a nice, albeit small, swiming pool with bubble jets and plenty of deck chairs on different levels (about 90cm deep so ggreat for kids too). Swiming area is nice and guarded with a small waterfal about 50m […] away so you can swim in the sea under a waterfal. Its all rocky but there are 3 ladders and the water is deep, great for diving in straight from the deck. A walk from the nearest town (Minori), although better to drive or take a cab. Great activities in another neighbouring town (Majori), especially for kids. Hotel restaurant is very good and quite inexpensive, both open and closed area with a sea view. Rooms are very nice, but a little small (at least ours). A room with a sea view is an absolute must so insist on it. The room was cleaned at least twice daily. I am always afraid of choosing a hotel through the inernet based on a few pics but this one was the best choice I have ever made. You will appreciate it once you take a boat ride along the coast and see all the other ones. We will definitely be going back there. Read more

Can't fault the staff for their help and friendliness. Room serviced every day with clean linen and towels. Room a big dark as we were in the old part of the building, a converted paper-mill going back to the 15th century. Bar, snacks & restaurant pricy but then that's the norm for Italy. Hotel very clean and tidy. Rooms with sea view and jacuzzi very nice as are the suites. Fresh towels are provided twice a day which was a lovely touch. Food is also excellent as are the waiters and receptionists. The guy who looks after deck chairs and loungers was very grumpy every day, telling guest's off if they had moved the chairs etc...even when […] there were loads of chairs. Remember to ask for the room for sea view, the so-called garden view comprise very small rooms with no view at all. Sea view is astounding! Otherwise, very friendly service.
