"The hotel is not qualified to be on Expedia list."
The clock radio and the fridge were not working. There were a leakage in the room, the remote control of the tv was all the time out of the codification. There were a very dangerous stair to go the second floor, where we stayed and there were no lift to go with the luggages there. We had to do it ourselves.We were not informed properly about the facilities […] of the hotel. The checkout time is 10 o'clock in the morning and we had to pay extra fee to stay a bit longer. Most of the reviews about the MVC are very accurate. The rooms are small but adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. The spiral stairs to the second floor are a challenge but we got it done! We really enjoyed Eagle Beach - It is beautiful! Best part for us was renting a jeep, with Christy's assistance, and riding around the island. It was primitive […] but absolutely beautiful. Quite Hotel, right across the street from Eagle Beach. Great Location, and clean. Nice people work there. Only thing I didn't like is that the hotel charges extra for scheduling activities (tours) for you and your family. My advice is to book it yourself unless you want to pay 99.00 more for them to book TWO activites. WOW... Just did not like that […] at all...Once you book it, no refunds on hotels booking fee...My husband booked two activites with front desk before I could research and do it myself..... Other than that, nice quited place. Also be warned, no place is "priced cheap" in Aruba. Be prepared to spend some money, expensive! Driving in Aruba is easy, we recommend renting a car, I don't like waiting on buses.. We had no problem with driving around Aruba. "Budget accommodation by the beach"
Accommodation was pretty basic and the bed was so very hard. However the staff were lovely and made you feel at home and it was right across the street from a beautiful beach. Had breakfast once at $8.50 each. It was buffet style with cereal, yoghurt, some fruit and breads. It was adequate but had better ones elsewhere. Did not eat dinner but restaurant […] was often busy. I am not one for the all-inclusive, so this was perfect for my twelve year old son and me. The hotel is directly across from Eagle Beach, it is quiet, the staff is super friendly, the restaurant food and service was good. It is close to (walking distance) resorts with gift shops and convenince stores and restaurants. You can walk forever on the beach […] toward the south, and could walk all the way to town, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel as well. Having been to Aruba and the MVC hotel before I was delighted to see that the hotel has made improvements that enhance this delightfully located hotel even further. "One Happy Island - they're not wrong"
We chose the MVC Eagle Beach as we prefer smaller hotels and were not disappointed. The room was simple but clean and airy. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant and accomodating to any requests. The Tulip restaurant attached to the hotel serves a varied menu of excellent food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is continental style and although […] it was the same every day was not a problem with us as it was plentiful and fresh! The beach is just across the road and although this is the main road is not overly busy and there is little noise. The beach itself is clean and is less busy than the high rise end. There are plenty of eating places to choose from a short bus ride in either direction to the high rise or into town. Prices are lower in town and Que Pasa was a particular favourite of ours. We had a very relaxing time on this small and friendly island and would go back in a heartbeat. "Piscina Apenas para Crianças"
A piscina anunciada é apenas para crianças, porém essa informação não consta na propaganda do hotel. Outra coisa que para nós pesou muito, foi o fato de eu e minha esposa não falarmos as linguas de Aruba. Pareceu-nos que para os garçons do restaurante esse foi um fator relevante para atender-nos sempre com má vontade. Tanto é que comemos no restaurante […] do hotel apenas no café da manhã, pois tudo já estava servido e não precisavamos pedir nada aos garçons e uma única vez no dia de nossa chegada. A limpeza também era de péssima qualidade. Nosso quarto e banheiro ficou cheio de areia todos os dias. Quero destacar o atendimento da Paulete do restaurante, por ser brasileira, atendeu-nos com uma simpatia impar, demonstrando-se sempre interessada em nos dar muitas informações sobre Aruba. "Zeer rustige omgeving bij mooiste stukje strand"
Het hotel is welliswaar wat gedateerd maar verkeerd in goede conditie. Tevens beschikt het over een gezellig restaurant waar de prijs kwaliteit goed is. Het prachtige Eagle beach ligt aan de andere kant van de weg. Strandbedjes dient men zelf mee te nemen van het hotel mits er genoeg zijn. Het hotel ligt verder in een zeer rustig gedeelte maar Oranjestad […] en het drukke Palm beach zijn goed te bereiken per bus. Taxi's zijn behoorlijk duur (vlieveld - Eagle beach $25) dus indien je niet van plan bent om bij het hotel te blijven en niet met de bus wilt reizen is een auto huren aan te raden. Zelfs de dichtsbijzijnste supermarkt is ruim een half uur lopen. Al met al een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding aan misschien wel het mooiste stukje strand van Aruba. A recepção fecha as 15:30hrs, chegando após este horário, as chaves do seu quarto estará no restaurante te aguardando e com todas as instruções. A piscina é mais para tirar o sal do corpo ou para crianças, para adultos tem o lindo mar de Eagle Beach só atravessando a rua, o hotel oferece as cadeiras de praia e toalhas. A localização é muito boa, fácil para ir ao centro da cidade ou a Palm Beach, tem ônibus, vans e taxis que passam na frente do hotel. Olá, fiquei no hotel no mês de fevereiro de 2012, durante 10 dias. Há nele um movimentado restaurante, o Tulipy, boa comida! e com preço justo. Tudo de bom! pessoal muito receptivo, principalmente a brasileira Paulete, que trabalha no restaurante, juntamente com o John, simpático jamaicano, e a graciosa Amparo, colombiana. Tem ainda, na gerencia do […] hotel, a filipina Cristy. Um montão de gente boa, sem esquecer das faxineiras, muito sorridentes. Hotel je přímo proti nádherné pláži Eagle beach. Personál je příjemný, každodení úklid a výměna ručníků je samozřejmostí. Na pokoji je lednice s malým mrazákem. Supermarket je asi 2 kilometry, lze dojít pěšky. Přímo proti hotelu je zastávka Arubusu ve směru do města Orajenstad (cca 5km). Voda z kohoutku je pitná. Snídaně stojí 8,5 USD. Hosté (vesměs […] nizozemci) snídají často z vlastních zdrojů. Na recepci požádejte o adaptér zdarma. Půjčování lehátek a ručníků je zdarma. Söker man ett lugnt ställe där det ges stora möjligheter till avkoppling och vila kan MVC vara hotellet. Ligger lite avskilt med med förträffligt läge vad gäller strand och bad.
