The Schooner II hotel was an older property, clean and comfortable. The furnishings seemed newer and kitchen was fully renovated. The kitchen was the bonus to our stay. Full stove and oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The king bed was firm and comfortable and the large (sleeper) sofa and flat screen made for a nice lounge area. Drawbacks: They need to update […] the bathroom. It was a little worn, though clean. Also, the bunk beds were actually stuffed in an alcove right by the entry door. Web photos did not show that! The bunk bed also had a sign that said the bed could not support over 140#. That could mess up plans for a "six person" stay. Though I could not see adults comfortable on those bunks! I booked the Schooner II to attend a sporting event. The hotel was very reasonably priced and the rooms were large and clean. The card reader on my door did not work when I checked in and the clerk at the desk did not have any other avaialbe rooms to give me. He was nice enough to unlock my door for me multiple times as I came and went throughout the […] night until the lock could be fixed by maintenance the next day. The hotel was very well kept and very convenient. The condo had everything we needed and a gorgeous view of the ocean off of the private balcony. We stayed in December, but it was still nice to be able to walk to the boardwalk and to restaurants and shops. We hated to leave!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The view of the ocean from our master bedroom was perfect and everyone was very friendly. My only complaint is that the master bathroom is small.

The "garden tub" was a regular size bath tub that the jets didn't work in. The hotel has no cameras around the perimeter where you park your vehicle. Things got stolen out of the back of my vehicle and no one could help because there were no cameras.

Wonderful room! Could not have asked for any better! Stainless steel full kitchen with dishwasher! Very spacious living room! Huge king bed & it was so comfortable! The one bed room unit is spacious & comfortable. Very quite at night. The king bed is comfortable, can sleep good at night. The only regret is it is ocean view.

The internet reception was awful. We had to stand in the middle of the room for a signal. The carpet was soaking wet as well. But, we were satisfied with the large living space, the bedding, and customer service.

Hotel is right on the beach - beach towels provided by front desk upon request. We've stayed here twice - both times in an oceanfront room, which is like a small, 2-bedroom efficiency apartment. The couch in the living area pulls out as another queen-size bed. Full size fridge, oven and microwave in kitchen/dining area. First and most important, the location was great!! However, this was our family vacation and not so appropriate for the children as the traffic and parties from the streets and beach are heard easily in the rooms. This was my 4th year staying at the Schooner II and I am still amazed. The review rating is lower than expected. If you are looking for an A+ luxury with the lasted fashion, intend to go elsewhere and pay a fortune, but for the nightly cost, expect to be AMAZED. Most hotels in the area supply a studio-like room with barely no amenities for the same […] price. The Staff is wonderful. Period! I have spoken to the manager/s, staff, and housekeeping and all of them are informative, friendly, and know how to make a pleasant atmosphere by going out of their way to make sure your needs are met. The rooms are more than we could ask for. It has a full kitchen with sufficient supplies, a huge/open and well-kept living room, and a fantastic private bedroom. The views of the city and ocean view from the side have a warm personal amount of space to enjoy every inch of what MB has to offer. I have never had issues with bugs, dirtiness, or maintenance. Within 10 miles, there are numerous attractions in a great family environment. The party-goers are in South MB no where near the Schooner. Within 5-10 minutes is Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, Cherry Pier, and wonderful places to dine. Amongst the years, I had brought several of our friends along to the Schooner and they always walk away with a 10 star rating. Even with the increased cost, the price still doesn't deter me from booking year to year because I know that I am getting every penny worth a great A+ vacation. Thank you. Read more

The spa tub was too dirty on the inside and the one outside was soooo tiny. The rooms could have been alittle cleaner and the balcony. The bed needed a better matress and clean sheets. The whole hotel needs a makeover. I would not stay there AGAIN!!!!!

the only complain that I would have is that my sister and her husband slept on the sofa bed , and said that it was very uncomfortable... Unfortunately we could not sleep on it because my husband has a bad back... so they had to spend three nights on the sofa bed ... maybe a mattress pad may help some....

The Condo is in a great location, close to boardwalk but we still had to drive to get there. If you are young and in really great shape you could probably walk. We were able to walk to markets and restaurants. The rooms are older but have been well kept and were clean. Our kitchen was updated. For the money it was a great deal. We went on Mother's Day […] weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely go back again. The one bedroom units are on the corner so you get a side view of the ocean but still a good view. The jets in the tub and the outlet for the dvd player dudnt work, but the cleaniness and friendly staff made up for it. Room was beautiful with a great view of the ocean. The hotel's location was perfect. Everything is in walking distance. Fully stocked kitchen with all appliances and utensils. Comfortable living area.
