Schooner II Beach & Racquet Club

Enjoyed the stay, the staff was great and the room was very spacious and clean. Walking distance to the boardwalk, I would highly recommend. Not children friendly, the pool is small.

Arrived and the electronoic lock on our hotel room door was broken. The maintenance man who was home was alerted and arrived instantly and fixed the lock. We specifically requested no room service and came back to find that housekeeping disregarded the message we carefully left at the front desk. Don't know why there was a mixup on such a simple request. […] The room, bed and pillows were very comfortable and room nicely decorated . It was nice being in a suite with a living room and a separate bedroom and it was very nice having a patio that faced the ocean. Great location, most of the staff was really nice. On the downside, if you want to check out past ten its a $40.00 charge, which negates most of the savings at this hotel. You could probably stay somewhere a bit nicer with at least an 11 am checkout for the same price.

Plenty of room for a family of 4, the location was great. Great view of the ocean, make sure you wake up to see the sunrise. Make sure you have your camera ready to capture this picture perfect moment. Also check out the 15th floor the view of Myrtle beach is awesome!

Very nice condo 1 bedroom side ocean view. Was surprised, look better than pictures. The only thing is when you travel on plane you don't carry chairs and umbrella and the Schooner 11 had none of these! Very helpful personnel I probably would go back.

We booked this hotel sight unseen....we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff was wonderful, the condo was very nice and roomy! We had 2 teenagers with us and the location was awesome! The kitchens were very clean and updated as was the bedrooms. We will go back to the Schooner II many times. We loved it!!

This hotel is in the heart of Myrtle Beach and that is the best attribute of this property. The hotel pool and hot tub were under construction, thus woke to the sounds of construction and not the ocean. This is not the way I wanted to start out my day. My children wanted to go swimming, oh that is right it can not be used. After making breakfast the […] dishes are loaded into the dishwasher, it leaks all over the floor. So have your towels ready. The bathroom toilet gets plugged and the desk is called in the evening, then in the morning, then say something at the desk in the afternoon when we get back to the hotel. Almost 24 hours to get plumbing issues fixed. Of course the ice machine is also broke and under repair. So I left the desk know about the disappointment in our stay and we got a "sorry". Would only stay here again if I was back in college on spring break with my frat brothers. Not recommended, you can get much newer and nicer for same money. Oh and what is up with the mirrors on every wall. It is not a dance studio. Read more

If the price was right for our pocketbook...then the reviews were lousy and when the reviews were great the price was out of our budget. We stayed at this hotel last year and were very satisfied. This year when we booked, we thought we were getting a 10th floor unit. Instead we were put on the 3rd floor.The 2nd bedroom was noisier because of pipes from upstairs running nearby. Also the toilet flap in the guest bedroom leaked causing the toilet to run periodically. This was fixed promptly […] when we mentioned it. Not so the dishwasher which leaked on the floor. The living room couch/bed and chair were dirty and sagged. The couch/bed smelled faintly of dried urine. It was the 4th day before the cleaning lady realized that the second bedroom was in use and the bed needed to be made. The last day of our stay, she didn't make any of the beds or clean the unit. None of these things were enough to have us running for the exit but we will certainly book elsewhere the next time we are in MB. Read more

The kitchen was a weird layout but satisfactory for the use we made of it. I had a car problem in that I parked in the sheltered parking area and water, dripping from the concrete roof ruined the finish of the car in a small area. I brought it to the attention of the staff who immediately tried to repair the damage and took steps to make sure that no […] other cars were damaged. Unfortunately the damage could not be repaired there and I had to drive home. The hotel admitted liability and I am in the process of getting quotes to send hotel for approval. Fin utsikt mot strand, vi lå i 14,etasje. Fin leilighet, komplett kjøkken med alt man trenger. Raske heiser. Tilgang på vaskemaskin og tørketrommel. Squash og bordtennis samt trimrom i 15 etasje. Basseng (ikke veldig stort) og jacuzzi ute. Vi var 4 voksne som hadde en flott uke her.
