      My husband and I stayed at the Blue Waves Resort on Krk Island for our honeymoon. The resort is great. The rooms are very clean, the beach is clean and not overcrowded, and the catering is very good. We had massages that were average but were ok. Breakfast was always very good and the service was spectacular. The only thing that's not true is that the resort's beach isn't private and you have to pay for beach chairs. The cocktails are also a bit overpriced in comparison to the surrounding resorts. Other than that everything was good.

    A short guide to Rab Island

    Rab’s capital, Rab Town, is a huddle of medieval stone buildings occupying a slender, fortified peninsular lined with four elegant Romanesque bell towers. The old town hosts rustic taverns and boutiques, with a palm-lined seafront promenade giving onto a marina. Rab was one of Europe’s first nudist resorts: King Edward VIII apparently bathed naked here in 1936. Some of Croatia’s best sand beaches lie on Lopar Peninsular, on Rab’s northern tip.

    E' la prima volta che ci capita di stare in un albergo a tre stelle senza ogni tipo di connessione - nemmeno telefono in camera. In dieci giorni del soggiorno non ci hanno cambiato ne lenzuola ne asciugamani. L'albergo è degli anni 70 e non è mai stato rinnovato. Le stanze erano abbastanza decadenti. Siamo abituati a viaggiare. L'isola in se è bella, […] ma il prezzo del servizio non è conforme alle stelle e alla qualità. Avviso: la spiaggia (rajska plaza) è bella - sabbia fine, ma non ideale per chi vuole nuotare. Per circa un km il mare rimane al livello delle ginocchia. Read more
