Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch® - Valence-en-Brie

We stayed here in April for 4 nights and don't have one complaint about our accommodation. Opted for the Premium Bungalow and it was completely justified. Our Bungalow (262) was extremely clean and like new. The Davey Crockett Ranch is approx 5-10 min drive from the Disney Park/Studios and couldn't be easier to find once you realise it's the 2nd exit […] off the 1st roundabout. We didn't have time to use the pool and other facilities at the Ranch as we spent all our time in the Parks but would thoroughly recommend this for a good base and as it was self catering it saved us quite the costly food bills which theme parks are renowned for. The Bungalow itself had a decent fridge freezer, hob, kettle, cutlery, saucepans and frying pans but no toaster or cooking utensils so worth taking your own. We'd stay here again and to anybody thinking about visiting I can't recommend enough the Premium Bungalows. Read more

Good stay but the check in process was very slow due to only 1 person on the desk when there were about 8 people waiting to check in. advertised as self catering cabins when in fact they are static caravans. Generally clean, but very dated. Very limited on equipment levels especially kitchen. We expected lots to do and entertainment on the park, but there was not any. in general the whole park is a little run down and needs a full revamp. Staff in buffet restaurant was rude. On site […] shop was very expensive. However there is a large supermarket just over 1 mile away at Val d Europe. The Disney parks also seemed to lack something. So much to do at Disney we didn't get the chance to enjoy the hotel facilities. We did visit the Trade Post shop a couple of times to get bread and eggs, etc., very good shop with enough variety of food choice if you choose to eat in now and then. The log cabins were ideal, however I did find the double bed mattress too hard, but the bunk beds wre lovely […] and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were good, with kettle, coffee machine, pots, pans, cutlery, however think toaster should be in the cabins. All together the hotel is ideally located, in lovely quiet surroundings and close enough to Disney if you choose to eat out. You do need a hire car for this hotel. Read more

Easier to get to Disney than we expected from the description - really just a quick drive and free parking at the main car park. If you need stuff for the park, stop at Bailly-Romainvilliers en route - very close. Has a carrefour market, bakeries, etc. (set sat nav for Place Europe in the town).

The accomodation at Davy Crocketts is basic but met all our expectations. Considering tickets to the parks were included in our package you cannot go too far wrong. Only a 10 minute drive to the park and free parking there is included. Normally it would cost €15 a day just to park your car. We will return and book again during a 40% cost reduction which […] seem to be on offer regularly throughout the year. Next time we will take far more of our own food as the parks do of course rip you off in that department. Also don't bother with the €6 breakfast at Crocketts unless you are happy paying 6 bucks for 3 small bread rolls and an orange juice - take your own cereals and grab a fresh baguette from the local store. The cabin was generally clean, apart from the windows. and possibly in need of an update . Enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids with good bedrooms at either end and plenty of storage. Probably the most cost-effective way of staying at Disneyland Paris. The TV (not that you're in the cabin much is in a weird place - too high up and next to the kids bedroom […] with very few channels - especially english ones. Two electric rings to cook with and microwave - no grill and no toaster though. Bathroom and separate toilet was fine. So, not perfect but roomy and comfortable enough, especially the bedrooms, considering how much time you're not going to be in the cabin. Disneyland was great as long as you plan each day carefully. We only booked for 1 night, but we're very impressed and are definitely going to go back. We had requested a deep clean due to a child having a dust allergy and it was spotless. It is lovely and quiet and eventhough we were in the standard accomodation it still had a dishwasher and microwave. It is only 10mins from the park and you get free parking […] and early entrance. The shop sells fresh croissants etc, but normal groceries are very expensive. When going back will go shopping at big supermarket 10mins in Val d'Europe. We had breakfast in the accomodation and then packed up a few rolls etc for lunch. It states you can't take food in, but no one stopped you unless you may have brought a whole hamper! We did pay approx £70 to dine with the characters which was great as we had 8 different characters and you can take as many photos as you like. Lovely settings feel like you really are staying out in a ranch, cabins are great to use as a base for disney. Mini Kitchen has microwave, kettle, two hobs and a coffee filter machine clean and tidy. Rooms are a bit dark as inside are decorated in dark oak wood. Has a television but can honestly say we did not use it, no wifi though. Did find staff […] a bit rude, and you are not allowed to checkin til 15.00 but you can pick up disney park tickets earlier if required. Used swimming pool kids loved it, food in resturant was a buffet was ok. We recently stayed here from 15/02-17/02/12.There is a security check -in where you show your confirmation and next to that you park up.We arrived for 15.00 check in time at a well built timber structured reception area with an appealing log fire. There were no queues and we were seen straightaway.The staff that attended were extremely helpful and after […] all checks were complete we were soon on our way to our cabin.It's important to get you to your room quickly because you can access the park from now as your tickets are now valid and you will still get a few hours on your arrival day.You are given a four digit code for the second barrier to use during your stay.From the barrier to our cabin was about a two minute drive through open woods.This is a private estate and secure.Each section of the ranch is clearly marked and each cabin within that section is also clearly marked.The plan you are given is an easy read.Each section has a breakfast cabin situated at entry for your breakfast to be collected each morning from 7.30am.These breakfast bags usually consist of 1lt fresh Orange juice,1lt milk,your choice of tea ,coffee or hot chocolate sachets,some croissants,brioche,french baguette and a handful on condiments such as fruit jams and chocolate spread. We brought our own cereals from the UK.Just a word on the breakfast charge.This will be an add on charge from 29/03. Each cabin have their own drive so your walk inside is a short one.Our cabin was a standard type and had the basic needs for our stay.The kitchen had a dishwasher, electric cooker, kettle, fridge, microwave and sink area and drainer. The hotel was everything we expected. All the facilities were excellent, the staff were really helpful and the pool and restaurant were good. Hotel was ideally situated for getting to the park and a good place to be able to retreat to at the end of a fun packed day at the park. Well recomended.

2nd stay at the hotel so we knew what to expect. On arrival to the cabin there was a really bad smell outside. I notified the staff member cleaning the next cabin but wasn't able to help as she claimed that she did not speak English. Luckily the smell went away itself. Over all it was a satisfying stay. The pool is excellent.

If you want basic self catering for visiting Disney this is great. It's clean and has everything you need for food prep and sleeping which is all you need if you are spending most of your time in the park. Unfortunately, depending where your cabin is, you need to drive to get to the pool, restaurant etc so, if you have teenagers who want to go off for […] a bit maybe it's not for you. Breakfast is good. You collect it from the bottom of your drive in the morning and includes croissants, bread, spreads, tea, coffee, hot chocolate,milk and juice etc. We had however, booked for 5 and, for some reason, they would only give us 4 croissants which meant mummy had to go without. That was a shame as we couldn't buy any more. The other disappointing thing is that, on check out day you have to leave before 11 and can't use the pool or farm after that time and there are no exsemptions. That was a shame as we had many hours travelling ahead of us and it would have made all the difference (Especially as, when we left, there was a total of 5 people in the pool so, it really wouldn't have made any difference!) We took our 4 year old grandson for three nights to Davy Crockett Ranch, thought it would be easier than having the formality of a hotel with more space and room for him to roam, but sure wasn't prepared for how neglected these cabins are. Everything was old and dated and tatty. We never did manage to get rid of the foosty smell in the bedroom. On second […] day, we requested new towels which dutifully arrived while we were at the parks - it just would have been so much nicer if they had removed the dirty ones! The three things we found OK were the shower and the breakfast which you collected from a cabin, this was adequate, cartons of orange juice, milk, coissants, bread, butter, and jam, as we had taken along cereals and bought fruit, this suited us just fine. Also the swimming pool, grandson had to be dragged out of the swirl pool, he just LOVED it. Have to say also, that the food in the restaurant was just fine, an all you can eat buffet, which we all put to good use, so no complaints there Overall, I would never book here again, but we knew we were not arriving at a four star complex, and our grandson just loved his cabin in the forest. Ce n'est pas Disney pour rien, le cadre est somptueux, dans un lieu qui permet de bien décompresser, assez calme. Un petit déjeuner copieux qui valait bien son prix. Cependant : la tête de lit était cassée, la douche ne fonctionnait pas, et les lampes dans la chambre non plus... Ce n'est pas grand chose, mais ce sont des petits détails qui font que... Dernière […] chose très importante, qui m'a mis très en colère ! Si on paye si cher au Davy Crockett, c'est pour les services proposées au clients au village (qui est très jolie d'ailleurs) donc notamment la piscine. J'ai été très énervé de savoir que les clients n'y ont pas accès le jour de leur départ ! C'est un scandale ! Sachant qu'on rend les clefs a 11h, et que les nouveaux arrivants sont là à partir de 15h, on ne pique la place de personne dans la piscine à ce que je sache ! C'est juste honteux. Donc, méfiez-vous, lisez bien les informations, car personne ne vous prévient ! Et après une journée au parc, on à autre à faire que de feuilleter la paperasse ! Les enfants ont adoré leurs lits superposés. C'était agréable de voir de sa fenêtre les arbres au dehors. Petit déj copieux. Le personnel est très souriant et sympa. Point négatif vient de la salle de bain, le lavabo était un peu bouché, le décor est très froid, le temps pour faire couler un bain était vraiment très long.

L'hotel propose un confort et une douceur de vie de grande qualité. Le village à proximité des bungalows et accessible à pied par un court chemin forestier est très agréable (une piscine à recommander à tous les enfants) et l'ambiance se marie parfaitement avec la visite du parc. Mon fils et toute ma famille ont succombé.

Il s'agit de bungalows, certes ils sont un peu vieillots , mais la situation est idéale, et surtout on peut y loger jusqu'à 6 . Idéal pour les familles nombreuses, ou les sorties entre amis, de plus le petit déjeuner est compris . L'environnement est tres calme , en pleine foret, à proximité du parc (environ 15 min) .
