Fin bungalow, dejlig placeret i skyggen.
Stayed here for 3 nights for my daughters birthday having stayed at one of the hotels on site previously - this one was cheaper. Glad we made the choice, laid out like Center Parcs with a shop, swimming pool, mini farm and pony ride in the centre - we loved it. When we went swimming there were 3 of us and 2 life guards! It is a 5 minute drive to the parks and very easy to find and secure. The check in was about a 20 minute wait as there was only 1 person working. The lodge was a bit damp in October which resulted in a nasty bout of flu for me, but it was worth it!

Arrived 10am at hotel, had to queue 20 minutes at reception for our park passes. Could not check in til 3pm. Had day at park and had to leave luggage in boot. Arrived back, only had to wait 5 mins for keys. Given map with directions for our lodge And lots of other information. We had a premium cabin with air con (thank god) Spacious with 2 bedrooms, one double with en suite and a room with 3 single beds with separate bathroom (which was a bit foisty smelling as had no windows) Double bed was uncomfortable and very springy. Cabin had all mod-cons microwave etc and nice deck with seating. Tip - wine in shop is cheap €6 - wine in bar is silly price €20-30. Buy in shop and chill yourself! Sit outside saloon with it then, and we got yo meet some of the characters including Mickey as we had no chance in the park.

We visited the ranch in July 2014, we were in a group of 6 - 3 adults and 3 kids from 3-7 years old. At first sight I was a little disappointed with the reception appearance and the fact that it seemed to be in the middle of a building site. We were initially located in a lodge in bobcat and we were really disappointed, the lodge stank, the beds shook and were so uncomfortable and the bedding was all damp, not to mention the infestation of wasps. We contacted reception who were fantastic and they relocated us to a premier lodge in Timber Trail, this was lovely, basically a mobile home, but it was really bright and ideal. The air conditioning wasn't working and as temperatures hit 35 degrees this was a bit of a problem, but again reception had fans brought over for us to use and the air conditioning was fixed the following day. There is a lovely restaurant on site, the Tavern but you do need to make reservations as it gets really busy. The staff are really friendly and there is plenty to choose from at the buffet. The Disney parks were really easy to get to and took about 10 minutes, there is no transport at the ranch so you do need to drive, which we quite enjoyed as it gave us the freedom and flexibility to come and go especially when the weather was far too hot for the kids to be in the parks. There is an indoor swimming pool at the ranch, which is a really good pool for kids, however out of our 7 day stay this was only opened once which was disappointing, the staff were great and made arrangements with the other disney hotels and we went to a couple of the other hotels during our stay to use their pools, and every one we visited had lovely pools. I would recommend going for a half board option, as eating out is very expensive, as is buying soft drinks etc. I would make sure that if you do visit the ranch you ask for one of their premier cabins, but overall we were really sad to leave we all had an absolute ball and the staff at the ranch and Disney in General were really helpful, it's definitely worth a visit!!!!!!

We are a family of six, my husband and I stayed here when my youngest was one and a half then my four year old, seven year old and eight year old. It was fantastic, clean and spacious for what we needed (we had the two bedroom choice) there were two showers, ours was en suite and another separate toilet. We've been back twice now and if we ever visited Disney again we wouldn't hesitate on where to stay. Fantastic on site indoor pool too and only ten minutes from Disney itself.

We visited Disney just before half term on the last week of June (2014). As always a bit cautious as, like everyone, you tend to focus on the negative reviews rather than the positive! Got a bit confused on arrival as was distracted by the man at the gate and headed directly down into the ranch and completely missed reception!! Amazing as it really is quite easy to spot! Headed back up and checked in quickly and easily. I recommend hiring a toaster at this point if not already as the lodges do not have them (we did not have a meal package). You get your Disney tickets plus a "Super Pass" which essentially gets you into the pool and gets you your free parking at the Disney site. Once into the lodge I was pleasantly surprised. We had a Premium lodge and it was nice a spacious, looked brand new. Nice deck outside with a funny looking BBQ. We were in one of the first sets of lodges to the left as you drove down so away from the pool and the shop etc., but as only there for a short time our main focus was the parks. The lodge is basically a pimped up static caravan, but more roomy. At the rear was a large area with three beds and en-suite shower (ideal as myself and my wife had our two little ones (4 and 2) and Granddad in tow!). At the front was a large are with a double bed. With en-suite toilet and shower, plus a strange looking large sink which I worked out would double up as a baby bath. As we'd seen from the reviews, no toaster, so glad I had hired one, and no oven. The lodges could really do with ovens but you can see why they don't - imagine the cleaners being presented with a pile of washing up on check out day - yes people like you and I would not do that, but I am sure a lot of people do. I think probably the microwave should at least be a combi though. The only other thing really was that there was no cleaning items, no brushes or a broom. It meant that we couldn't really clean up or even empty the BBQ before leaving. The only thing we did at the ranch was swim - the pool is nice. Colder than UK standards but fine once in. Also we went to the buffet restaurant which was fine though a bit manic. Disney itself was really great, though I would strongly recommend running around and getting 'fast passes' for all of the rides you want to go on. It’s so easy to do and worth just starting the day going around getting them. The 'magic hours' are a bit of a con - you can get to the main bit of the Disney park, but all of the 'lands' are closed. So you can't, for example, rock up at 8am and go on the Runaway Train, as it is shut. Pretty much all you can do is go on a carousel, Peter Pan, and mill around the castle. We could only find one place open for coffee at that time too. Finally on Disney, if you are going with kids, most definitely book a meal at a character restaurant. We had dinner at Cafe Mickey.. The kids absolutely loved it as the characters come around to each table while you dine. Brilliant and probably seeing that made the holiday for me. Check out a bit manic as the next load of holidaymakers were queuing out of the door!! And you have to give in your keys and toaster!! It is not clear, but you have to go into reception and down the right hand side, and wait at the reception desk generally waving your keys and toaster around. Someone will then finish checking someone in and check you out. There were keys there so if you have no toaster I assume just leave your keys on the desk! All in all a good stay, perfectly adequate accommodation in a nice setting.

We stayed in one of the cabins just recently for 3 nights whilst visiting Euro Disney. I was a bit unsure at first as it was quite a bit out of the park (you def need a car as there is no shuttle bus available and our taxi's were €20 each way!!) but the cabin Itself was a great size, extremely clean (especially the toilets/showers) and well looked after. We liked it as it felt like you were camping in America somewhere! Short walk to the pool/restaurant/general store. Excellent facilities and the dinner buffet was fantastic :) Plus we saw Goofy and Pluto characters and had pics outside the general store with them :) I would definitely stay here again.

Just back from a week at the davy crockett ranch, we had booked a premium cabin (2 adults, 3 kids) cabin was spotless. Plenty of space for 5 of us. Lodges are nicely spaced out and we heard no noise from any neighbours. Lodges are 5 min or so drive from the park and the road is very straight, very easy to get in and out of parks. Shop on site is lovely , we bought a lot of French bread and croissants and made up lunch to take into the park. We also stocked up from the auchan supermarket which is only 5 mins drive away. Pool on site was good, kids loved the water jets, current, slide and jacuzzi. We didn't eat on site but restaurant looked nice, had a few cocktails at the bar. Goofy was outside the bar so kids were excited. Character lunch in mickeys cafe was excellent food was lovely and the kids got lots of autographs and photos. Also ate at planet Hollywood twice , good value for money. Staff at davy crockett ranch were lovely and very helpful. When you arrive you get a free cleaning kit which will keep you going until you get to shop. We didn't pay for a cleaner and just kept everything tidy ourselves , not hard as we were out from 10am- 11.30pm most days. The only thing missing from cabin is an oven and a toaster. There is a dish washer which we didn't use. A toaster and oven would have been much more useful. Disney parks were excellent, lovely staff, immaculately tidy, queue times were ok, 45 mins was about average however we used fast passes and discovered between 8.30pm - 10.00 was best times to get on rides quickly as queues were down to 5-10 mins. We went on big thunder mountain three times in a row as queue was so short and we walked straight on to Indiana jones, pirates or Caribbean and it's a small world at his time in evening. Top tips - get to reservations for princess pavilion before 11 if you want a ticket to meet a princess, be at davy crockett site between 7-9pm at bar area if you want to meet a character without all the queues. Stock up at supermarket and take lunch into park. We ate lunch in the queue for rides which passed some time for the kids. The only ride we didn't get on was ratatouille , just opened on wed and fast passes weren't working, queue was 2 hours so we had to give that a miss. Best rides - thunder mountain, Indiana jones, tower of terror , rc racer and crushes coaster. Overall great holiday, it rained most of the week however we just got the waterproofs on and we were fine. Had to flee the park on the sat night as rain was torrential! Will definitely go back and would stay at ranches again.
My family and I stayed here for three nights while attending the parks and visiting Paris. The Cabin itself was a bit tight, yet with two bathrooms and sleeping space for six, it worked for us and our four children. That said, we were very disappointed in several areas. For one, our room (and even our bed) was full of ants. I wouldn't call it an infestation, yet I found myself killing several of them every night before going to bed. In addition, the room had an awful smell, I'm not sure if it was from previous visitors smoking or what but it just did not smell good. I was also surprised, although I guess I should have known, that we did not have housekeeping service. Therefore, every night, after spending all day in the parks, we would come home to our same messy/smelly cabin, just as we left it. I did not notice until I was checking out that I could have requested housekeeping for an extra charge, which I probably would have done. Again, it's just surprising to me, after having stayed at disney properties many times in the states, that this would not just be included. The pool area was nice, with plenty of space for the kids to play, yet I was very surprised with their policies of no food or drinks whatsoever. They don't sell them in the pool area nor can you bring anything in with you. I have never experienced this at any hotel (or otherwise) pool I have attended and I honestly think that this rule is rediculous. It is also important to note that they do not provide towels at the pool so plan accordingly. On a positive note, the restaurant and the staff at the restaurant were excellent, particularly for a hotel buffet. My children LOVED it and wanted to go back every night. My wife and I both enjoyed it as well. The food was very good, as was the wine, and reasonably priced. They also have a very nice bar with a variety of beer, wine and spirits. Lastly, the general store offers all of the essentials you might need (coffee, milk, bread and more) as well as several disney items that the kids enjoyed looking at and playing with.

We have just returned from a very wet but enjoyable 4 night stay at the Davy Crockett Ranch. We drove down from Beauvais Airport and stopped off at the Val De Europe shopping mall and picked up some groceries from the Auchan supermarket there which was amazing! It is huge and has so much choice and fresh food it really does put our supermarkets to shame here in the UK. We were not on any meal deal so bought big boxes of fresh croissants, fruit, crisps, water/juice and baguettes, cold meat/cheese fillings as well as some lovely wine ( 2 euros a bottle!) snacks and rotisserie chickens and salad, coleslaw etc which fed and watered 4 adults and 1 child breakfast and lunch everyday and one dinner for 60 euros! A much cheaper option if you are on a budget. We had a bit of difficulty finding the site from the supermarket and had to stop and ask directions from a petrol station but finally made it and got checked in. The site is much bigger than we anticipated with little 'avenues' where the cabins are situated We were staying in Wagon Wheel Way which was at the top of the site and did require a car to drive to the main area with the restaurants/pool etc. Luckily we chose to upgrade to a Premium Cabin, which was well worth it as had 2 shower rooms, a large fridge/freezer and proper beds in the 2nd bedroom. there are 3 single beds and a pull out 'under bed' that we put up in the living area for our son. The cabin is just a static caravan, but had a nice decking area and patio doors and a BBQ, however it did rain everyday and we didnt get use of this area. There was not that much room for the 5 of us as the sofa only sat 2 or 3 so you could only sit on the small hard dining table chairs. The TV only has a few English channels - 2 disney and 2 news. There is a coffee peculator though, and we picked up some filters and coffee at the supermarket so we could have freshly brewed coffee every morning. You are only given one towel each which are quite small and thin, so might be worth bringing your own, we also used these down at the swimming pool as they charge 2 euros a towel which is a rip off and there are heated towel rails for drying in the cabin. You also receive a small cleaning pack with 2 dishwasher tablets, a miniature cleaning fluid bottle a sponge scourer and a small paper tea towel which was not really adequate as we did make breakfast and packed lunches everyday so bring a few tea towels too. The beds are comfortable and the showers hot and powerful and overall value for money. The swimming pool area is nice and the kids loved it, however the bar and restaurant are very expensive and didnt really look worth it at all ( 28 euro a head for a buffet and 6/7 euro for a glass of beer). The food in the shop is also really expensive and probably up to 4 x more expensive than the supermarket. It is much better to either head back into the shopping centre as there is a nice food area with restaurants - we ate in the Italian which was good and 70 euros for 5 including drinks. The eating places in the park are also really expensive for larger families, we ate in Annettes Diner one night as they did a 19.99 deal for a burger meal, drink and dessert which was excellent and also Planet Hollywood which was about 30 euro a head for 3 courses, but much better value and tastier than the Disney meal vouchers and tasteless buffet restaurants. Take a packed lunch as although you have your bags searched when you go into the parks most people take food with them. We just filled a rucksack with filled baguettes, juice/water and snacks and either ate them whilst in the que for rides or in the outside sitting areas - nobody seems to mind and lots of other people do the same. The snacks and juice are very expensive in the parks 3.40 for a bottle of juice/water and 5 or 6 euros for a snack like popcorn soon adds up for a large family! The other tip is if there is rain forecast take a rain jacket or your own ponchos. Disney sells very cheap thin ponchos at 9 euros each and they rip within a few hours. lots of people were walking around with ponchos ripped down the front or the hoods hanging off. Not that i am a cynic - it seems like another scam to make people spend money and new ponchos everyday in bad weather. There were people in the original yellow disney ponchos with the 15 year anniversary on the back which were proper rubber material, they seem to have changed to cheap bin bag material now. Overall a good budget resort for families and better than expected!

We had a long weekend at Disneyland Paris staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch. It is similar to Centre Parcs in the UK. We stayed in a premier cabin/ lodge it was clean and spacious for the 5 of us. As we were self catering we expected an oven in the accommodation but there was not one just a hob and a microwave. There was a dishwasher where the oven should be.. it would have been helpful to know this before we arrived. Our children loved the swimming pool especially the water jets. The pool was open until 10pm. The shop on site was expensive and we found a supermarket in the shopping centre a short drive away where everything was a lot less. We would definitely look at staying here again as it was just a short drive to Disneyland Paris. Overall a very enjoyable, clean and scenic place to stay.
