Had a great time! They upgraded us to a larger room to put us next to our friends. The room was Okay - comfy bed and they had a real causal laid back attitude in Vermont - if you can roll with the punches your GOLD! We had no heat in our room but a roaring fire place and they gave us a ton of wood and it all worked out fine. I enjoyed our stay...

We stayed overnight before visiting Williams College. Easy to find (right on main rd, but not too noisy), couple of casual restaurants within walking distance. Staff polite and responsive, but not overly friendly. Room was clean and well set up. Free wifi. Only dissppointment was the shower which had limited power and hot water. Continental breakfast was wrapped muffins and cereal, nothing fancy but good enough for a quick bite before hitting the road. Good experience at a good price.

The Econolodge in Manchester was perfect for an overnight stay between two days of skiing. It was clean, brightly painted, and pleasant. Of course when paying for Econolodge you are not expecting super-fancy, but it met all expectations. Only one complaint: the lobby could have been better ventilated with actual fresh air instead of air fresheners. We would definitely go back!

I like the older charm of the moter lodges on the east coast, and US byways.

"Relaxing decompression"
Our stay at the Nutmeg Inn was great. The staff and service made our stay just fantastic. The 2 minute ride to town was nice. Would recommend staying to anyone visiting southern Vermont. 20 minutes to Bennington or Brattleboro and 10 minutes to Mount Snow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fanstastic B&B near Mt. Snow"
The staff were incredibly welcoming and so friendly! The new receptionist gave us a tour of the property and was very proud of the house. She gave us back road directions to the slopes to cut our travel time in half. The room was very spacious with a deck and great view of the mountains. The bed part of the B&B was comfy, and our room even had a wood-burning fireplace that was set up with kindling and everything. "Lovely little place"
Quite a small room and bed (6a) and right next to the main public rooms downstairs, but the hosts and staff were amazing and the breakfast was lovely. In a nice area and overall would definitely recommend this hotel....but get one of the king-bed rooms upstairs.Genuine Expedia guest review
