We chose this hotel at the end of a long touring vacation because they advertised laundry facilities, but upon checkin, were told the machines were not in service. We were very disappointed. Buy the bus pass to get around. The 140 and 123 are close to the hotel and they'll take you downtown Dublin. Easy to buy the day pass at the hotel and use all day to get on off as much as you want. unfortunately there was no wifi/wlan in our rooms available. just in the foyer /public areas we could use our devices. 15 min. with bus to downtown, they sell daily tickets (11€ f. 2-4people/family) if you ask for it:-). nice neighborhood, tesco close by.

This was our second time staying at the Ardmore Hotel, we were happy to return. My sister and I do not like to stay in the city center and find the location of the Ardmore Hotel suits our needs. It is an easy bus commute to the city center, daily bus tickets are available at the hotel front desk. Rooms are clean and comfortable, I would like a thicker […] pillow but overall the beds are fine. Bathrooms are clean and well taken care of, towels in good supply. The hotel restaurant is perfect for breakfast before hitting the town. We have enjoyed a hot toddy at the bar in the evening. Saturday night was a bit nosy as the bar turned into a disco, but still not too bad considering our room was right above the bar. We will be returning to again for our next annual visit to Dublin. If you are planning a trip to Dublin, and intend to spend most of your time in the heart of the city, I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of hotels right inside the city, and this hotel is not within walking distance. That being said, there is a bus stop directly outside which will bring you right into the city. The buses only run until […] about 11:00 pm, though, so keep this in mind if you are planning a long night of barhopping. The area of the hotel isn't that great, but I felt safe in the hotel itself. I was warned repeatedly that Finglas is an area where you need to be careful about watching your purse. I spent most of my time in the city, though, so it wasn't an issue for me. The price of this hotel was quite reasonable, and it was actually nicer than I had expected. European hotel rooms are usually so tiny, and this room was certainly more than adequate. Everything was very clean, although the bed was a bit firm. All in all, I would probably give this hotel a "3", but the staff was definitely a "5"-which brings my overall rating to a "4". They were accessible, friendly, and incredibly helpful in every way. I have stayed in lots of hotels, and I don't think I have seen better service anywhere. Great hotel. The staff was very friendly. This was our last stop on our honeymoon in order to catch our early morning flight, and the staff gave us a free upgrade just because it was our honeymoon :) The room was clean and comfortable, free underground parking, and only 10 minutes to the airport.

I have never EVER stayed at hotel this bad. The surrounding area was very unsafe. The foyer is decently decorated but that's about it. The halls are dirty and the rooms are extremely dirty. The Ardmore hotel was conveniently located near the airport; however, the room was lacking in several areas. The bedsheets were torn, the bathroom tub/shower was extremely slippery, and there were parts of the interior design that were falling apart. It is a budget stay.

It was a little farther away than I would have preferred to be from downtown and other attractions, though it was nice that the bus was outside on the street across from the hotel. This is the first time that the reviews from hotel.com has failed me. I booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and was an easy drive. The lobby looks nice, the common areas are clean. They gave us a discount card for food in the restaurant, they send you to park in the gated garage underneath the hotel, that raised a flag about the area […] security. Then we arrived at our room. The bed was super uncomfortable, the pillows were skinny flat, it was a hot day, no air conditioning, have to open the windows. The room was wear out it looked like a motel room. The hotel reception was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, the hotel is very nice and well decorated. Restaurant that serves all meals and nice bar, and the 10-15 minute bus ride to the city center has a stop right outside the hotel. Not too bad of a neighborhood and the hotel is very safe. I'd definitely stay again!

The staff were extremely friendly and the maid service was wonderful. The only complaint I have would be about my abnoxiously loud neighbors versus the thin walls. Other than that, I had a wonderful time at Ardmore and hope to stay there again someday.

We picked this hotel because it was convenient to both the airport and the city centre. It said it was only a few miles from the airport but the cab ride still cost over 20 Euros! Take a bus, not a cab! Check in was fine and friendly. Hotel looked like a decent location until we got to our room. The view from our window was scary! Run down, graffiti, […] trash. We heard kids screaming and dogs barking the whole time. Room was comfortable though. Had to ask for a fan to drown out the noise from the people talking next door. Ardmore in good location from the city. Buses come frequently during the daytime. Clean hotel,otherwise nothing remarkable about the staff, maybe because it's winter. The staff at the Ardmore hurried their cleaning staff to help us settle in our rooms three hours before "normal" check-in time! What a nice start to our holiday in the UK! The rooms were clean, welcoming. Immediately out the door was a bus to the center of Dublin -- a simple ride away and back. Great location, excellent facilities for the money.

I was booked into the Ardmore as part of a tour and added on days at the start and end of the tour and they were great about combining the rooms so I did not have to move. They were very helpful in providing directions to get downtown and info on various attractions. The food and service in the restaurant were good and the room was very clean and well […] maintained. It is located on a bus route which takes you downtown. It makes it difficult to take a break in the middle of the day as you have to take the bus back and will usually remain in the city core. The biggest drawback on this hotel is the noise. The first stay (2 nights) I was located at the back and could hear a yappy dog barking ALL NIGHT. After my tour I stayed there for three more nights and asked to be at the front and the noise from the traffic drove me crazy. The rooms are very warm and due to the noise you can not keep the window open. I would not return to this hotel for more than one night and only with ear plugs.
