After reading several reviews that sent mixed signals my Wife and I decided to take a chance and checked in at The Downtown Hotel for three days March 18 to 20, 2012. Our stay was characterized by the Hotel's close proximity to all that was required for a fulfilled vacation. (Our visit to the Fond-Doux Plantation.The Botanical Gardens and Diamond Waterfall, Soufriere Drive-in Volcano and Sulphur Spring where you can get a medicinal bath. Our climb of the Pitons and Dining at the restaurant that served local dishes),. Buses and Land Taxi to these sites were easily accessible. The water taxi for our trip to Anse Chastane was available at the harbour which is also located about fifty yards from the hotel. The hotel staff were very polite and hospitable. They possess a wealth of knowledge of the island which they share with the guests readily. We have no regrets choosing The Downtown Hotel for our vacation and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to have an enjoyable stay.

We stayed at juliettes the first night of a seven night stay in st lucia before heading to a large resort. The staff was friendly and helped us find a good taxi driver who took us to a great local restaurant on the nearby beach. It was very different from the resort but we remember the experience fondly and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a modest place to stay and see the real st lucia!

The staff at the Mago was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was very clean and had a great view of the ocean. The food at the restaurant is also very good.

The Sunset Hill Resort and Spa has a full-service spa and an outdoor pool. Dining options at this spa resort include a restaurant, a coffee shop/café, and a poolside bar. Dining options at the resort include a bar/lounge. The staff can arrange concierge services, wedding services, and secretarial services. Additional amenities include gift shops/newsstands, barbecue grills, and laundry facilities. Onsite parking is complimentary.
