Radisson Hotel Narita - Narita

I absolutely loved this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient and were more than happy to assist us with all of our needs. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. The indoor swimming pool was great and there was even a free shuttle to central Narita and the local mall. Great stay!

The hotel was larger than most Japanese hotels. Nice property. Easy transfer bus from the airport. Only negative - not much available outside the hotel. You are captive to the hotel offerings. Perfect for a stay prior to a flight out.

We hauled into Nartia from Kyoto fairly late and then waited 20 minutes for the Raddison bus to arrive. I thought the hotel was only a few minutes away but it really almost 25 minutes w/o any traffic. It took 30 minutes in the early AM to get back to Narita. Convenient, good shuttle, but isolated with sad feel about it, made more so for me by the dominant guest demographic and their behavior: US carrier flight crews in sweats, with American men dressed like they were in their home den wolfishly eyeing Japanese female staff and guests, others plodding along the access road to nearby convenience store, others […] skyping over the lobby's free wifi about when they'll be home, and most all looking at even other American guests and clearly wondering, "you don't look like flight crew, who are you, why are you here, and how did you get to be with that Japanese young lady and what type of relationship is that, exactly." None of this is the fault of hotel management--the food was adequate though overpriced, the room clean though a bit frayed, the shuttle driver excellent. Great place to stay. The staff was definitely a plus here, especially if your Japanese is not particularly strong. Most of the workers here deal with foreigners so they're quite competent in speaking in English. They try their best to accommodate your wishes. It was Beautiful and service was great. The room was clean but do not expect a large size room. This is not the USA. Do not let size put you off. The room was beautiful and we will use this hotel again as we travel to see family. The Radisson has done it again with equality and grace for a hotel.

This was not a planned stay, we got stuck in Japan due to being overbooked on a flight. Hotel was very nice, room a decent size. Had kettle, tv & dvd player, free internet via ethernet cable. The hotel is fine in all respects, including pool and food, etc., peaceful (I was recuperating between international flights). Actually stayed there twice, Lots of airline crews use it. Very reasonable rates (though food is kinda dear). A bit of a schlep from the actual airport terminal, however, and the shuttles for ordinary people like me don't run […] that often--and are cramped mini-buses--whereas the airline crews get big spacious buses and what appears to be more frequent service. My only other disappointment was (on first stay) the room was badly overheated when I entered it and the windows don't open very far so it was hard to bring it down to a decent temperature. The hotel's neighborhood is nondescript and unmemorable so once you're there--the grounds are spacious--you won't likely have much reason to wander down the street. Read more

Very nice hotel nestled in a pseudo-rural setting (lots of trees/crops surrounding). I would recommend this hotel for short-term Tokyo travel for the following reasons: 1) FREE shuttle to/from Narita Airport to hotel (saves ~5000 yen); 2) hourly FREE shuttle back to local shopping complex (loaded with anything you need from gifts to dog food); and 3) […] FREE shuttle to rail system interchange (not sure of the station, but you can get ANYWHERE from here). The hotel is located a couple of miles from Narita, so the airport noise is not noticed. The hotel cafe has a very good (but a little pricy) buffet with both western and Asian food types. There is a gift shop with drinks/toiletries/etc, but they do not sell ANY medicines (even Motrin, so bring everything you need). The ground are immaculately kept and the staff is very friendly. The friendly manner of the staff from the shuttle driver from the airport to the front desk folks to the bellhops was outstanding. In fact, we may go back during the holidays to stay there and visit Tokyo just because they were so nice. The evening manager could not have been more helpful. This hotel is lovely. It is located further from Narita Airport than expected, but they have several shuttles running. It took about 20 min. on the shuttle. We were so very impressed with our room: spacious, clean, comfortable. We also had a lovely view of the grounds. The bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The lobby is nicer than the hotel rooms and the restaurant is really over priced, but other than that, it's a decent airport hotel. Only thing is that it's about a 20-30 minute van ride to get from Narita airport to the hotel and the Radisson's shuttle only runs once an hour. Waiting for the shuttle bus to the Radisson from Narita airport, we saw other […] hotels' busses pass over and over until the Radisson's little van showed up. But it's a decent place to stay, staff spoke excellent English, service was great, just expect a little sightseeing trip between the airport and hotel and bring bottled water/snacks with you or prepare to pay thru the nose at the hotel restaurant/cafe. I stayed at this hotel on a one night layover in Tokyo. No shuttle @ 10pm when Holiday Inn and Crown Plaza’ shuttles still run back and forth. 50USD cab ride to from airport to hotel. We stayed here the night before our flight back to the UK and were glad we picked it as it was everything we were hoping for in an airport hotel. There's a regular and friendly pickup service from both terminals of Narita airport to the hotel as well as the other way around; it takes about 15-20 minutes each way. There is a plentiful breakfast, dinner and lunch buffet with both Japanese and Western options, all of which were very nice, and at by far the best prices we've seen in any Japanese hotel restaurant, so this is one hotel where you don't have to worry about being to afford food, which is pretty important for an airport hotel for obvious reasons. The hotel also has good fitness facilities which are relatively cheap to use, but we didn't as all we really wanted was food and a bed, both of which we were very happy with. A nice hotel but now a little dated. The sports bar is occupied by a number of Delta American air crew, making a quiet drink not possible. Room is comfortable with plenty of English TV channels. Free wifi is good for a chain hotel. We used the free shuttles to/from airport and mall.

This hotel was amazing. The room was exceptionally large compared to other rooms you would find around Japan, although the hotel is out of the way a little. The hotel offers its own shuttle bus service (however the times are a little irregular so check before hand) which shuttles you between AEON shopping centre, Keisei Narita Station and the Radisson […] Hotel. They also provide a shuttle bus from the hotel to Narita International Airport starting as early as 7:00 for early flights home/away. The staff were simply amazing. Come to greet you as you leave the shuttle bus to enter the hotel, and speak very fluent English. Great hotel, clean and very friendly. Pick up bus comes from stop 16 with all the other hotel transfers. The hotel is around 25 minutes from the airport. The only thing we found is we were staying on the 11 floor and the room seemed cold as the window was not double glazed, so we had the heater on all night.

The hotel is rather far from the airport but the shuttle bus is regular and on time. Even after check out you can stay comfortably in the lounge for several hours or go for a walk around the grounds. The garden views from inside of the restaurant and lounge are very pleasant. The staff are helpful and not intrusive.
