I was reasonably impressed with this nice little hotel, tucked away at the end of Myrtle Beach, room was quite spacious and comfy, and the air-con came in handy for getting away from the heat outside! Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping staff were polite and unintrusive. Nice big pool area which is reasonably private, and there is plenty of parking space. I'd recommend you hire a car if you drive, as all the best bits of Myrtle Beach are quite a way away, though there was enough in the area within walking distance to keep me occupied! If you're on a budget, then I'd certainly recommend this place, and I'd stay here again!

The hotel is very hard, because we were from out of town and did not understand exactly where we were going. And...the hotel staff, Kim, was very rude about giving directions. She told me that if i couldnt "find the hotel that maybe i was in the wrong state" and refused to try to help us find our way. Then when we finally found it an hour later, she was still rude. The hotel room was comfortable for the most part. The bottom of our shower curtain was mildewed due to the fact that every time a shower was taken, the water would not go down the drain...so you were standing ankle deep in a tub of water. gross! Pool was nice and room was clean. Also i was not aware that pets were allowed. I have allergies to furry animals. I sneezed and itched for my two day stay.

We needed a place to sleep, and it met our needs. Never requested help from the staff, so don't really have anything to go by as far as they go. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough, and the price was right. One improvement I would suggest... have more then two towels in the room upon check in. We had two small bath towels, one wash cloth, and no hand towel. Good thing I had some of my own with me.

This hotel fit the bill for a quick one night stay but would not be my choice if I had to be in MB any length of time. When we arrived we tried to check in a bit early and were informed that we could not since they were cleaning our room. Ok that is reasonable. However, when we returned around 6pm...three hours after scheduled check in... the room we were given had not been cleaned. There was trash around the room and a bed and bathroom that had not been changed. A bit frustrating. However, the young lady that handled it for us was super nice and friendly and did a quick bang up job. The next morning the breakfast seemd a bit lacking on all accounts. The young man just kept telling us...sorry we are out of that... how can you run out of milk and coffee..these are staples. In general, a decent hotel for the price and ok for a quick one night stay.

If we ever go back we will just book a room downtown by the beach when we get arrive, there were dozens of small, cheap hotels there, all with the vacancy sign lit.

If you are looking for a hotel that's cheap and not far from the beach then this is what you want. The service was helpful, whenever I had a question they were there to answer. The room was not bad however the bed was hard and the shower would ring every now and then. The first day we were there the manager poked his head in the room without knocking which was a little odd but after we posted the do not disturb sign we had no other interruptions. The breakfast in the morning wasn't worth waking up for. All together the hotel was average. Great for people who won't be spending much time in the room.

We did have a problem with the bathtub filling up the first night, but once we notified them they promptly offered us another room. We chose to stay, however, and they had it fixed the next day.
