The hotel was ok but I would not choose to stay in the future. Our beds didnt even have fitted sheets, and the room service never changed our sheets once during our stay. The counters and toilet seemed clean but the shower did not! I have two small children who still take baths and I was cringing when I pulled the shower curtian open. Whoever was there before us had obviously just showered from the beach because the shower floor was covered in sand. Also the shower curtian had mold on the inside of it! gross The hotel itself was decent, the pool was nice and everyone was friendly. If they got a better cleaning service I would return, however next year my family will be trying somewhere new.

Stay was nice, but going on a labor day weekend...lots of kids running up and down the halls. Also the hotel staff did not enforce any late child restrictions. Kids are suppose to be out of the pool at 10:00 PM and 10;00 to 11;00 is suppose to be adults only. This did not happen. Also they did not keep very little kids out of the hot tub, although this is more of a parenting issue.

The hotel is on the main drag in West Yarmouth, close to good restaurants and only about 7 minutes from the ferries in Hyannis. Contrary to some reviews, the staff was quite helpful, and changed me from a 2 double bed room to a king bed without any argument. The bathroom was not as clean as I would like, and not because of the old fixtures, wallpaper, and grout. It just didn't have a lot of attention to it. The room was clean but the furnishings are old and the carpet pretty worn. For someone that travels a fair amount, this was a typical 3 star hotel, not likely to be exceeded in the local area unless it is newer.

Breakfast at cafe was excellent and food was cooked fast and hot. I asked for the safe to be opened upon check-in and they stated they would have someone come down, but never did. Whirlpool was dirty felt sand and rocks at bottom and another problem (won't say on-line. Whirlpool definitely need to be emptied and cleaned. Room was small but was ok. Sliding door was sticking and hard to open & close. I thought I read that the hotel was just renovated but it did not seem like it. Bathrooms are small and don't like the sink and vanity outside in room. The kids loved the pool which was warm. Pool area was spacious and plenty of seating. Also had a small kids wading area which was nice. I usually stay more toward Harwich area but since it was a weekend stay it was convenient to beaches restaurants and shopping, movies theatre in Hyannis. I would not stay at this hotel for an extended stay but ok for a couple of days.

Although this hotel is located only 2 or so miles from Main Street proper, the heavy traffic on the travel route was expected at all times except for late night. The pool and jacuzzi were great, but the service at the desk was surprisingly unfriendly. At almost 11PM on our second night we unfortunately had to switch rooms because of extremely loud neighbors, and the help at the front desk was rude and made it clear that we were an inconvenience to them. For the money we paid for this room, we expected more. If we were to visit again, we would not stay at this hotel, we would spend a little more to stay elsewhere.

I thought the breakfast cafe was great. had a good ,quick breakfast for a great price. my 8 year old ran down the hall and got me complimentary coffe daily. It's in a great location b/c there are wonderful beaches nearby as well as mini golf courses and great restaurants. then we would come back to the hotel late afternoon and sit by the pool. overall a great family place and very kid friendly. The hotel is centrally located from most conveniences and beaches. Friendly front desk staff on the first and second days of my visit. Cordial, but not overly friendly the other days. Room service staff were friendly and nice. Rooms were clean, carpeting OK. Didn't have any complaints; but would have preferred if the rates were lower for the calibre of hotel it is, and also wished there was a better fitness center.I think the rates were a bit inflated given the fact that it was the month of August. I would stay there again if the rates are at least $40.00 cheaper. Otherwise;comfortable place to stay.

The pool area inside and outside was nice, but the rest of the place was just ok. It was a standard motel rooom, nothing fancy, but was clean. It's right on the main road in yarmouth, and very close to hyannis. I thought the place was fine, but the price was too high.

I swam in the morning before many people had even been in the pool and could not see the bottom of the pool because it was so murky. I did not try the hot tub because there was foam in the water. The lounge area was extremely outdated and a huge let down. The breakfast cafe was always so busy we went elsewhere. I would reccomend staying here if you want some comforts, but do not expect a great hotel, it is better than a Motel 6 but a huge step down from a Hilton or Marriot.

The pros: clean room, spacious, liked the fridge in room. Cons: rude staff, difficult to obtain basics, like towels. Very uncomfortable beds and linens which may seem petty at first except when you don't get enough sleep. Could not get info from staff because they were either too busy or would refer us to brochure stand. Overall, would not stay again or reccommend to anyone.

Our stay at The Cape Point Hotel in Yarmouth, Massachusetts was really great. I had been a guest there several years ago, and enjoyed it. Now, there have been many improvements since added. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. I could see that all of the rooms had been updated with new features, carpet- beds/bedding- and spacious new vanity areas. When checking in, the staff were very welcoming and polite. The pool areas are very nice, (indoor and outdoor) both are large and with plenty of lounge chairs. I especially enjoyed the complimentary hot coffee cart in the lobby in the morning. The location of the Hotel is very good, it is close to all of the main attractions on the Cape. The town of Hyannis is nearby to catch a ferry to the Islands of Marthas Vineyard or Nantucket. Or, you can just go visit the dock area for a nice lunch and watch the ferrys come in and out. There is plenty of shopping, good restaurants serving traditional "Cape Cod" favorites, plenty of fried clams and lobster. There are several beaches that are just a short drive from the Hotel, and they are nice. When you go to the beach, they give you a pass that will allow you into several beaches that are all in that area, and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this Hotel, I have been coming to the "Cape" on many visits for 30 years, so I know it well. I believe you will have a very nice stay at the Cape Point.

We considered star ratings when we were looking for a hotel. We decided to go with the three star because it sounded really nice. When we arrived we found the desk clerk to be really quite rude. When we got to our room we found it to be really not prepared. The toilet paper looked like it had been dropped into some kind of liquid that we didn't even want to speculate about about. The paper was a brownish color so I threw it in the trash and used the extra roll. The worst thing about the hotel was when we were leaving the smell of sewerage hit us as soon as we stepped out. They had two sewer covers lifting. When they were told the clerk said they didn't know about it. If you took a breath you knew.

Every time a car came or went, I could hear it clearly, doors banging, even during the night. Children were running through the halls to get to the pool so there were constant disturbances. Maybe if I had a room on a different floor it would have been different but I wasn't fully satisfied.

First, I had a decent stay, but it's clear the staff is underpaid, without a strong sense of professional hospitality. To be fair, most of the hotels on the Cape in this price range are probably the same boat, struggling to get qualified and stable staff. The room was clean. Internet is dependent on how close the room is to the nearest wireless router. Lots of touristy restaurants around.
