we have made this our destination each summer with another couple. we especially like the pool area with the grille and bar. we appreciate having umbella tables with chairs to sit on. my husband cannot sit low on lounge chairs. Most hotels only offer lounge chairs at the pool so he never has a place to sit---your place is great! We enjoy it. I would […] update the beds. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Can't beat the price"
For the price and a place to sleep it was worth it two day stay close to everything. Just wished the slider didn't open to a parking lot it would of been nice for kids to have a place to step out to play. The pools where secure so little kids couldn't get to them breakfast cafe was nice good price would stay again for the price almost booked hotel down […] the street for triple the money. And it was the same thing. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Room was ok and clean not one of the hotels you will love to stay in. Service was fine, room was cleaned the second day but they dint refill the toilet paper. Not many options for food around other than Dunkin donuts and a breakfast place right opposite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not the cleanest facility"
Rooms and main areas (pool, fitness center, bathrooms) were not very clean. Bugs found in bedroom and shower. Tv was very old and barely worked.Genuine Expedia guest review
"You get a lot for your money"
This is not a luxury hotel, but I got a very good price so did not expect that. But there are some really great benefits - nice indoor pool, nice outdoor pool, close to several beaches (and they can give you a nice list with driving directions at the front desk), quirky cool lobby with bizarre enormous koi pond, and a cafe that has the best pancakes […] I've ever eaten. I've given serious consideration to whether those were the best pancakes I've ever had, and concluded that yes, they were the best (I had the strawberry banana). Not far from the end of the Cape or from Boston. I definitely recommend - just keep expectations reasonable as far as luxury of rooms. The one con - the hotel rooms have sliding doors on the ground floor that open right onto the parking lot. Not incredibly secure and can be loud if other guests are hanging outside your room talking. They were in my case so I just asked them to move their conversation and problem solved! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"New staff needed"
On arrival we found only 2 sets of towels in our room for 3 registered guests in a room that slept 4. When I called the front desk, they told me that I needed to come and get the towels as house keeping had left for the day. I found this ridiculous as there were several staff on duty at the front desk. On our second day the room did not get serviced […] at all. When I called the front desk they said they would send up a "care package" - which was a large trash bag filled with towels and toiletries. Really? On the third day our room got serviced but again, only 2 sets of towels were left. I stopped at the front desk and spoke to a manager who gave me more towels and said he'd speak to the staff. Day 4 - clean room, 2 sets of towels - but we had stashed the extras from the manager in a drawer. At 10pm that night (our last at the hotel), the front desk called the room, WAKING US UP to ask if we had enough towels. Needless to say, I was not pleased. I truly don't understand what was so difficult about leaving enough towels for each of us. It seems like a rather simple request that this staff seemed incapable of handling. It really is the little things that make or break an experience. There are plenty of other hotels in this area and I highly recommend that you try one of those. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice hotel"
I was very happy to stay in the hotel. I liked the sliding door and the sunshine in the room, but some of the beds were old. They need to be replaced. Did not sleep well because of the bed. Otherwise, everything was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Perfect location for family getaway. Hotel was clean and kid friendly. Everything was within walking distance. Great restaurants, great shopping and plenty of places to take children. Mini golf, beaches, inflatable park and arcades are right next door to hotels. We are already planning trip back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Took all of the previous reviews and decided to try out. The only complaint I had was the hot tub was colder than the pool. They came and did something but never got warm. Ann and Frans diner across the street is great.Genuine Expedia guest review

"USE THE SAFE PROVIDED!!!!"
Pros- decent facility, although somewhat worn and dated. Cons-OUR BAGS WERE MOLESTED DAILY WHEN WE WERE OUT....RESORTED TO PUTTING NOTES INSIDE EACH BAG THAT READ, " smile for camera, you are busted". WE DID NOT NOTICE ANYTHING MISSING, BUT OUR NIEGHBORS REPORTED SIMILAR EXPERIENCES!!! Lackluster staff is sullen and unfriendly. VERY DISTURBING, BE AWARE! […] 1 star overall rating! The staff at the hotel were pleasant and tried to be accomodating. Two days before check-in, we requested a handicapped room and the staff changed our room without question. Upon making the reservation, we did ask about having a recliner chair put in the room because my spouse is handicappped but that request wasn't filled. For a short stay, this was […] a convenient stop and I would recommend this hotel to others. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Broken doors and damaged furniture not very nicely kept upGenuine Expedia guest review
We had been there the first year it opened back in the 80s. Hardly anything had been upgraded since. They did add on to the Coy pond, and the cafe now serves breakfast and lunch. The free internet didn't work, even though they kept telling us it did. The parking lot was being repaired when we stayed there, but the inside of the building has a very long […] way to go. The staff was slow but very kind. However the towels had hair coiled in them. A long blonde strand was coiled inside the bath towel the first night we stayed, and a long black one in the new towels that we got the following day. Also two of the little toiletries on the bathroom sink had been previously opened, used and put back. A lot of rust is in the the bathroom of the indoor pool. The outside pool is fine. "It is what it is"
We needed an inexpensive place to sleep over Memorial Day weekend as we had to be on the Cape for a soccer tourney and commuting was not an option. Cape Pointe delivered. "Comfortable, front desk not helpful"
The hotel was comfortable. I used the hot tub, which was deliciously hot. Hot tub jets are just tiny breezes, but it was relaxing. I wasn't happy because I'd requested a ground floor room facing West. They assigned that room to me, but then gave it away to someone else before my 3 PM arrival. They put me on the top floor facing East because the staff […] didn't know East from West. Anyone who can point to the direction of Provincetown knows East. They said 'every other' room was taken. At 3 PM in early May? When most hotels have 5 customers? They were just being surly and mean. The parking lot was 10% full. Because they bumped me, I asked that they bump someone who isn't here yet so I could have a ground floor facing West. "We don't do that." she replied, even though she had just done it to me--I could see the ground floor room assignment on the paperwork was crossed out and a second floor room assigned. Also the keys' magnetic strip loses power if it comes within 2" of a phone for even a second. In 3 days I had to go to the front desk twice to get a new card. When a hotel invests in better equipment or doesn't reuse the same cards too many times this won't happen. It is an OK hotel if you'll be out and about most of the day. The sink and large counter are open beside the door, and the bathroom is just the tub and toilet. That is actually a nice arrangement if you don't have a situation where one person is drying hair or brushing teeth while another is trying to sleep. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cape Point Hotel"
We found the room to be very uncomfortable. You could not properly adjust the heat. It was either too hot, or too cold. And if that wasn't bad enough, the heater was so loud, that it kept you awake all night. Also, we kept asking for face clothes, and were told it would be a few minutes. We stayed the end of a school vacation week. I thought the beds were comfortable. Wifi connection was horrible. Cobwebs in laps and stingy towel allotment were disappointments. The facilities were in OK condition but stuff like old style picture tube TV's and rusty exercise equipment scream for an update. The area is a tourist type area with lots of […] restaurants and sites to see. First night at pool was a bit full of kids but seemed to simmer down on Saturday. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good for price"
My husband, and 2 year old stayed at this nice hotel for a weekend getaway. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was a little small, good for the 3 of us, but not so good for a larger group. We had a great deal, and there was a good amount of things to do in the area. I highly recommend the Pirates Cove mini golf place […] not far from the hotel. There is also a nice little shop for Cape Cod clothing in a plaza not far from the hotel also. There is a bouncy place not far too, but it was raining and we choose not to check that out. Despite the rain, we also made it to Seagull Beach, not far either. "Good choice for the price"
We stayed for 3 nights. The second night they didn't service our room however when I saw one of the housekeeping staff in the hallway and told her she came right to our room and serviced it. The pool and hot tub were great but crowded. Room was clean. They have a cafe where breakfast can be purchased- not included. The free coffee tasted awful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The beds at the hotel were the most comfortable we have slept in during any of our visits to Cape Cod. Breakfast at the in hotel restaurant was varied and delicious. Other than the hotel being dated it seems to be well kept. We would definitely stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"One night stay"
Rooms were just ok, beds were very uncomfortable, she shower dripped all night, no night light to leave on had to leave the tv on all night. I would have left the bathroom light on, but there was no switch to turn off the loud fan. The wall seemed to paper thin, I could hear our next door neighbors snoring!!! Thank god that's they were doing, since […] I was traveling with a child! The room was a non smoking room , but reaked of stale cigarette smoke. I will know better next time, not to stay here! Too many kids running and screaming through the halls at all hours of the night. Someone threw up right in front of one of the exits, and when we reported it someone just threw a towel over it and it stayed there for at least 12 hours.Genuine Expedia guest review
The check in was a bit convaluted, but all in the stay was pleasant. The place was very busy. The room cleaning was not timely at all I had to call several times,I had left early and put the room cleaning tag on the door to no avail.I would say if a visitor if fussy pass this by. "Not a hotel for my family."
The staff at the hotel had poor customer service. It seemed like we were bothering them. When I had called to find out where their was a movie theater I got a sigh. There were children running up and down the hallways a midnight. The pool area was nice. We had to give a ticket to the front desk in order to get towel. It made me feel uncomfortable. There […] were people checking in and here we are in our bathing suits. And of coarse it was a bother for them to have to give us towels. We will not return to this hotel. "Great Pool and Hot Tub"
I have been to many, many indoor pools that were absolutely freezing and that's not a good time in the middle of the winter. This pool and hot tub temperatures and the cleanliness of each was perfect. Had an enjoyable visit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Wonderful indoor pool! Needed to "get away" but couldn't afford to fly to the Caribbean. Next best thing was lounging all afternoon around and in the big, warm swimming pool. Then stepping into the hot tub! Wonderful!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Well located for us"
Room was good basic accommodations. Breakfast was quite good. Only complaint was bed was a little too hard for my liking (awoke in morning with back pain) and hot tub was dirty (lot of foam which is not good sign and chlorine levels made eyes burn and water while sitting in it).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for a cheaper wknd getaway."
Hotel was a great price for what I needed for the weekend. Room was clean, front desk staff was not the most friendly, and pool could def be a lot cleaner. Otherwise, if you need a place to stay for a night or two, its just fine.Genuine Expedia guest review
"No one enforced rulles"
Stated children not allowed in hot tub or sauna. and adult only swim from 10 pm to 11. None of which was enforced. Children in Hot Tube. Children in and out of sauna thereby opening and closing the door all the time letting out the heat. Children still in pool after 10pm no chance of doing any type of lap swimGenuine Expedia guest review
"A few disappointments, but overall a good stay"
We waited until 3 pm to check in, but our room wasn't ready. Because it was Friday of school vacation week, the place was crazy with kids everywhere (which we expected!). But the two ladies behind the counter seemed to be a bit overwhelmed, and then started speaking to each other in another language, which I found rude and insensitive to myself and […] the other hotel guests. Overall, things were fine, but it was disappointing to our grandkids to have to wait even longer to use the indoor pool - our main reason for booking here. It took close to 45 minutes before they reassigned us to another room that was ready (after having a man go to physically check on it). We have stayed here in the past, and may again in the future, but I think on such busy weeks they need to have additional staff on hand so there aren't long lines in the lobby with frustrated guests. "centrally located for our needs"
We took the grandkids to the Cape for two nights during Feb. school vacation. Cape Point was great. We all enjoyed the pool, which is not clorine pool, so not odor, as well as the hot tub. You can walk to the pool from your room all inside. The room was adequate for only two nights and clean, as was the facility. WE took advantage of the in house restaurant […] for breakfast which was reasonable and delicious. Everyone was most accommodating. We would definitely book again. We were there a day after a severe snow storm, but the parking lot was pretty well plowed. WE have been going to the Cape for years during school vacation week, and this is the first time that we encountered so many closed shops. This must be due to the severity of this winter - no fault of Cape Point. We definitely recommend it for a family getaway. Also, there's a Dunkin Donut next door!!!! They advertised two queen beds, they were two full beds. Grrr..not very comfortable either, both wife and I have bad backs to begin with, no relief, we couldn't wait to get home actually. "It was a place to sleep"
Cafe is wonderful and has great prices for good food. Room is NOT very "user friendly" -- no instructions on how to get WiFi nor to operate the heat, which never seemed to work properly anyway. Cleaning was marginal, especially in bathroom (used towels left in shower) and we were never given enough towels -- 4 of us were registered, but we always got […] only 3 shower towels. "Cheap, but dirty."
The first thing we saw when we came into the room were sticky rings from cups, on the table, indicating it had not been wiped. Also, we had to take the remote control down to the front desk to get new batteries because the ones in it were dead. Also, there was NO book or papers in the room telling us anything about the hotel, such as where the fitness […] room was, what hours the pool was open, how to use the phone, etc. The best I can say is that it was a very inexpensive place to stay, and relatively quiet.
