The view from room was great of the water but you had to first get your eyes over the back of the chicken shop and noise, not really a relaxing place for a sunset drink on the balcony. Terrible breakfast, be better to not offer it really.

The apartment was clean and quite nice but is right next to a noisy carpark and balcony looked into the back of a bait shop. Don't bother paying for breakfast...truly awful. Instant coffee, orange juice from concentrate and abrupt service.

Stayed here for a week with my family in February and it was as expected. Great value for money as I booked the 2 bedroom apartment and it was under 1000$ for 7 nights. Pool is not a lap pool but is nice and clean also there was under cover secure parking for hotel guests which is great when your staying there for a week or in really busy times. You […] walk out the door and 50-100 metres later your on the entrance lake water edge. So you don't need to drive unless you would like to visit outside the main entrance area. Hotel is in a great location with plenty of parking available. The room had a very musty smell and seemed clean but the carpet felt quite dirty and there were food scraps under the lounge so the cleanliness was rather superficial. The beds were comfortable and the room was well appointed ie. the kitchen was a good size. The bathroom was dark and had […] no windows and a small fan to extract steam. There was a sign on the wall to say to keep the door shut as the steam would set off the fire alarm which made using the bathroom mirror (the only one in the room) a challenge. We paid for a ocean view apartment we got a very distant ocean view and had a view of Tuggerah Lake, the bridge over the lake and a view of The Oaks Waterfront Resorts pool, spa, kiddies pool and gym which was a real tease as our pool was so small. The main bedroom in our apartment blinds were filthy and were in need of a good clean and the ensuite […] was so small (you wouldn't want to be a very large person#. The 2nd bedroom which my kids called a closet #a sliding petition between the bedroom and the living area - no wall) was the same size as the main bedroom. The living area was a nice size. When we used the aircon it barely worked and if left on for a long period it smelt like urine which was discusting. The kitchen was a good size and though the bar fridge was turn onto the highest setting and barely kept our drinks cold. When taking a look to see what utensil we had incase we cooked we noticed that the grater was rusty so luckily we ate out. We will not be returning to the Waldorf the next time we come to The Entrance. Read more

Had a great 2 night stay. Close to water and main part of town. No a lot to do near by apart from the beac, but excllent for a relaxing holiday with family. Very good area for small children with water park and carnival.

My husband was walking around the room with white socks on, for a couple of hours, and when he took off this socks they were black under foot. I would say that your carpets need a good clean. There was also a pubic hair on the rim of the bath tub. One of our bath towels had a brown stain on the towel which was the size of a envelope. The hotel was central to everything which was fantastic.. The room was cosey and snug. It was close to the pool which was great, however their was a dead cockroach on the floor and one dirty towel. Was surprised at the room, a lot better than expected. Plus the added benefit of a great ocean view. It was a nice touch to receive a phone call from the receptionist (Brooke) at approximately 12.15pm to let us know that our room was ready should we arrive earlier than the normal 2pm check-in.
