the staff was personable and helped me feel at ease and welcomed. i asked if there was a microwave in room, and when the answer was no they arranged to get me one for my stay right away. they were kind to my dog. over all above and beyond my expectations.

My wife and I returned to Napa after 20 years for a 5 day stay. Most of the hotels are pretty expensive and we selected Napa Winery Inn for it's relative affordability. The facility is pretty similar to a Hampton but they do add a few "touches" to make it special. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They have nightly wine tastings from local […] winery's. For the price I was charged it was clearly not worth it. The room was old but had new carpet but the screen was bend on one side . The breakfast was not up to other hotel chains we stayed at. The most inconvienent part was the key card would not work to open the door because twice the managment did not tell us that some of the door require you to push […] up on the handle instead of down, the maid had to let us in once before a staff from the front desk came up to explain the problem. This is very inconvenent for disable people. NO I would never stay there again for that kind of money. Thought I was getting a 3 star hotel but clearly it was only 2 stars. Read more

This hotel was very comfortable and our room spacious with a private patio (we paid extra), however it was not luxury it was very comfortable and the staff wonderful. Pet treats were greatly appreciated by our small dog. We would consider staying again.

The location and overall quality of the Napa Winery Inn was perfect for our short weekend vacation. However, on Sunday morning their water heater broke and it took a couple of hours before it could be fixed. Naturally this delayed our departure.

Basic but very nice hotel, we stayed here for the proximity to the Napa marathon finish. Every staff member we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and quite. We had a great stay, this is a great low key and lower price option.

Beds are super comfortable, staff is beyond friendly, rooms are clean and neat, almost everything was up to date/modern. Only downside was that the heater is a wall heater that needs to be turned on/off manually. Not the best when you're trying to sleep and all you hear is a heater. But overall, I would definitely go back!

We chose this hotel due to its pet friendly status and proximity to wineries. It met our expectations in most areas and exceeded them in others. All of the staff were very nice, informative and highly accommodating with a smile. We were greeted with a bag of dog treats and a toy for our dog. They had plenty of grass and some plastic bags for our dog […] to do her business. Parking was convenient and plentiful on the lot. The bed was firm and comfortable and room was well appointed with free wifi, a large flatscreen tv, coffee maker, and small refrig. With the fan going we did not experience any distracting noise from outside or adjacent rooms (although admittedly we traveled in early Feb, which is low season). The hotel lobby is undergoing renovations that did not impact our stay. The morning breakfast (included) was more than sufficient for our needs with plenty of selection, including a couple hot items. There was a wine reception nightly in which we partook only a couple times, as the wines seemed average and by that time we had already done a lot of wine tastings at some of the innumerable wineries nearby. Fume Restaurant is within walking distance and was a great place for one of our dinners. All in all, this is a great choice for the price ($120/nite), location, and amenities. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others, especially with a dog! Read more

It was definitely a "no frills" establishment, they don't even have a front desk to speak of. This is not the first time we've stayed here. The hotel has changed names but the staff is still the same. The staff is the best of anywhere we've stayed. Krista took very good care of us. We do a lot of traveling and I collect shot glasses from the local Harley shops. I couldn't find a shop in Napa so Krista went by a shop on her way home from work […] and picked one up for me. Great little place right on the Napa rt 29. In the heart of wine country. Dog friendly a plus!!! Will stay again when we visit Napa again. The restaurant that is adjacent to the hotel was just opening and did not have a alcohol license and the food was ok. Would eat somewhere else next time.
