Overall,very dissappointed. We booked this hotel thru this website as it was supposed to be close to the zoo. Not only was it nowhere near the zoo, there was no carpark, we had to double park on the side of the street to get our luggage out,while trying to keep an eye on 3 very young children(no member of staff offered a hand). They offered us the use […] of another carpark which was a 3 minute drive or a 10 minute walk away, which we had to pay for then and there!! The rooms were not air conditioned and quite unclean, especially the bathroom. We would not reccommend this site or Appartment to anyone. Read more

We got a very good rate on this website and then were upgraded to larger apt on arrival. Overall positive experience. Note 10euro per hr for late check out, after 11am, overnight parking 14euro. All good!

Enjoyed our 6 night stay in Dublin everyone was very friendly and the city is a great place to visit. The apartment was comfortable the only slight problem was the washing machine did not work.

My daughters and I had a great stay. Only drawback was need for someone to let us in the front door. We understood the need for security but we arrived during a heavy rain and had to wait outside for someone to return to the front desk to let us in to the foyer. Otherwise, very convenient location and great rooms.

I was quite disappointed at these apartments for a number of reasons: Dead bolts loose (one fell off) at both apartments. No remote for the television. Low quality beds and pillows. Uncomfortable pull out couch. Very noisy outside (pub patio at the back, busy road in front). Very few plates and cups for a self-catering facility.

I found Christchurch Hall apartments to be very satisfactory. It's location was a mere 10-15min walk from the city centre (Grafton St) and only a short walk from Temple Bar. The staff were quite helpful. The only problem we encountered was in finding their sister apartment's car park which the on-duty receptionist gave us great assistance in locating. […] The room was clean and had every facility one could require (kitchen, washing machine, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, electric hobs etc) and was comfortable for to relax in also with a no. of TV channels available for amusement. This is the 2nd time i stayed here. I was upgraded to a 2bedroom each time. The location is great, but if you're after a good quality place then this won't be for you. All the apartments are not consistent so it's the luck of the drawer which one you get. This particular room had a bad damp problem with stains on the roof and around the window. The […] general cleanliness of the rooms were very poor, including dishes not being cleaned properly or the floors being swept. I'm not sure whether the cleaning staff don't have enough time or whether they just haven't been given sufficient training. I won't be giving this place a third go. Read more

The hotel was apartment style and ours was 2 bedroom. It was a good size and had all the ameneties needed. In an excellent location close to temple bar and the centre of town, and for the price, you couldn't fault it. No service desk exists, you have to call up to get access to the building and are given a code for a lockbox. Rooms were INCREDIBLY noisy, both from within and without the complex. Doors got stuck on carpet, lock didn't work in the bathroom - substandard.

This is the place to come if you are looking for comfortable accommodations without the frills. Pros: Good location, accessible, close to transit and motor ways, clean, spacious, close to 2 grocery stores, computer use ($) / wifi (free). Cons: Noisy (on a major street), appliances need some repairs (fan on stove doesn't work), hot water is limited, […] no on-street stopping in front of apartment and no lock on windows (kids opened them and were leaning out to say hi to people). All that being said, I would stay here again if I was on a budget. If you rent a car, you can park at St. Augustine's, which is a sister resort a short walk down the road (12 euros per night). Cab to and from the airport is 18 euros if you pay in cash. Only the Xpert taxi service takes credit cards. Read more

We have had wonderful experiences staying in apartments before, but this wasn't too enjoyable. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door to call the office. They then told us they would put us in another unit that looked nothing like the one advertised. The apartment was a most pleasant surprise. It worked out very well for us. A few minor shortcomings: A few more pieces of crockery would have been helpful, as would a slightly wider range of cooking vessels. Also, it would be very helpful, especially in winter, if there were a reading light in the living room. The one overhead light was problematical. […] And, the shower could have been a bit stronger; heat of water was no problem, but water flow was. These are minor complaints; everything worked out just fine. It was very helpful to have a combination washer/dryer available, but it did take a while to figure it out. Nice that instructions for the various appliances were available. Apartment was quiet, in spite of facing the street (might be a problem in the summer if you needed to open windows). Our family with two children were stranded in Dublin over the Christmas because of the weather conditions. The apartment was booked online from a computer in the arrival area at the airport and we took a taxi straight in afterwards. The apartment was located straight across from the church with a nice view (4th floor) and a walk to the Temple Bar area […] took 5 minutes. The maintenance in this establishment is TERRIBLE! Kitchen. Oven door missing. No microwave so no way of warming up food for the children. No Dishwasher but there is a washing machine! Inventory incomplete. Not enough plates etc for a family meal. Lounge TV remote missing batteries so children had 1 channel and very low sound - DISGRACEFUL! Lamp […] broken had to move table lamp from bedroom Bathroom. Ceiling covered in mould. Limited hot water. Bedrooms Clean and sheets fresh. Overall I think this place is used as a doss house for large parties of people going out on the town in Temple Bar. The hotel room is very dam. And the milk provided is out of date. Location is good. Ideal for a family or 4 travellers. There is no toiletries provided, so make sure you bring your own shampoo, soap... The bathroom definitely need furnishing.

The day before I travelled I read some of the reviews of this hotel and was very worried at the condition of the hotel and what horrors might be might greet me when I arrived. I shouldn't have worried. The rooms were newly cleaned and well furnished. Yes the outside of the windows was a little grimy but the hotel is in the city and on top of a sometimes […] windy hill, so with the combination of wind rain and street grim this is to be expected. There was copious amounts of hot water and a booster heater if this ran out. Internet vouchers were provided for the whole week, and although I was travelling alone plenty of room for a family of four people. The hotel is close to the lively part of the city with plenty of shops bars and other amenities. People booking this hotel should remember that it is completely self catering and pick up some shopping to provide a basic pantry or be prepared to eat out every day. I would certainly recommend this hotel to a group of young people and will certainly try to stay here again. Read more

There was black mold all over the ceiling of the bathroom and surrounded the toilet on the walls. This is a good option if you are 3+ people travelling together and do not mind staying in the same appartment. Centrally located, nice kitchen (Spar and Tesco are 2 and 4 minutes from the appartments) and helpful front desk open 24 hrs. No daily cleaning of the apparment.
