"Another great trip to Dublin"
I found this accommodation a couple years ago and always stay here now. The location is great and I like the ease of having my own kitchen to cook in. Just need to stop at the grocery and I'm set for days.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a lovely one bedroom apartment with separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom (#19). I had a small balcony and a lovely view. It faced the street so the traffic may bother some, but it didn't bother me. The staff was uber helpful with all of my needs. There's a few shops for food and small restaurants nearby. It's very close to a stop […] for the 747 bus which takes you to and from the airport. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Dublin. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great price and location"
The hotel was in a great location right across the street from Christ Church and within walking distance of the major sights. The parking garage was two blocks away and across a major road. The staff was very nice and helpful. I'm rating it a 4 for the location and the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to transportation; can walk to downtown."
Rooms allowed us to move about freely. Front desk personnel very nice..good location. The biggest problem was lack of communication by hotel management on how to find the secret switches to make the kitchen appliances work; combination washer/dryer did not have proper instruction booklet and staff was clueless; TV had only one channel and directions […] for using their free wi-fi were not clear...cleaning staff (contracted out) did not consistently show up..but price was a fairly good bargain. "Definitely would recommend!"
The Christchurch Hall Apartments are in an excellent location for the sites we wanted to see in Dublin. Traveling as a couple plus one college age child, the suite with 2 bedrooms was perfect, with having a living area to watch tv. The only negative was that the beds were not the most comfortable. But for the price, the size of the apartment & the location […] was perfect for us. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Christchurch Hall Apts, Dublin, April 2012"
Great location for a great price, although the maintenance was a little lax. We found a man's passport behind a nightstand, and it had expired months ago. Makes me wonder how long it had been there, unnoticed by housekeeping. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Average Apartment in Great Location"
I would recommend these apartments because they were clean and in a great location for a good price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is the second time I have stayed here. I really enjoy staying here and when I go back to Ireland, I will most likely stay here again. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful, save one girl, but everyone else was super nice and helpful. Great location to everything! I would suggest this place to everyone!Genuine Expedia guest review
The service was horrible, we had no instructions to pick up the key and had to walk down the street to use a payphone when we arrived. The apartment was in run down. We also had do way in the apartment to call the property manager and had no instructions on check out time, therefore we ended up checking out late and they charged us 10 Euros per hour […] of late check out. Very un-impressed and would not reccommend to anyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Christchurch hall a bad choice..."
With nobody working the front desk you won't find any assistance unless you go to a different hotel five minutes down the street. The parking lot that's a big hassle to find and park at and fight traffic trying to get back to the apartments. The cops told me to avoid the road behind the apartment because it's very dangerous. The remote to the tv was […] broken as was the door to the balcony and the shower. The bed was very nothing but springs with no padding even though it was listed as "pillow-top". The water and kitchen smelled like sewer. I enjoyed my time in Dublin but it had nothing to do with this room. I would avoid at all costs if give the choice in the future. "Good location - reasonable price"
Stayed at the StayCity - Christchurch for 2 nights, and overall had a good experience. The apartments are quite central and near the church (although the bells can be quite annoying), and within a 5 minute walk of temple bar. The room we had was a 2 bedroomed with twin beds, a double and a pull out sofa bed in the lounge, they apartment overall was […] clean although could do with an update. (Although I have stayed at the StayCity in Hayes in London and they were outstanding, but also brand new, so was a little spoilt) Anyway for a weekend away I would definitely recommend these apartments with friendly staff, good location and reasonably priced. And not forgetting, Dublin is an amazing place, and nightlife is fantastic, even if a little expensive. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable apartment in city center"
We had a 2 bedroom apt. The dining/living room was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped and we fixed a warm breakfast every morning. The beds took up most of the space in the bedrooms - so we used 1 as a dressing room and the other to sleep. It would be hard to put >2 people in this space. Since it was a warm weekend, we kept the windows open. […] The street noise was a bit loud (vehicles, not people). The location near Christ Church was convenient. "Potentially great, let down by too many problmes"
Nice, large, light airy rooms, comfy beds, spotless, fresh clean linen - sounds like it should be wonderful... But. So so so NOISY. Impossible to sleep with windows open. Badly equipped kitchen - no large knives (meat, veg, bread) - had to ask reception for some, no cereal/soup bowls - reception couldn't provide, no meat dishes or trays. Appalling wifi […] -couldn't even get BBC News website reliably. Shame, as I would have liked to rate this higher Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfy little apartmentsk, would stay again"
our hotel was super homey and comfortable, we had a double and two twins. the twins were extremely uncomfortable however the hotel had stocked us with an extra duvet and pillows so we laid the duvet down and slept quite nice after that. our toilet would not drain half the time which was unfortunate and utensils are a little sparse but seriously no one […] is a gourmet chef on vacation so it worked out just fine. the two young men who had worked the midnight shift at the front desk (Jeffrey and Conor) were so great! helped us find places to go and such and were really friendly and fun. if you have them call a taxi make sure they ask for Dean! After just being in London, it was so nice to have some space! Apartment was great - so close to the heart of Dublin. Excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were very lucky to be upgraded to a 2 Bedroom apartment which was nice, the bedrooms are small but comfortable and clean, the kitchen is ok but the washing machine did not work. the only thing that really lets this hotel down is the furniture in the lounge, the leather look sofa and chair where torn and dirty looking had to put a towel on to sit […] on which is a real shame as we otherwise enjoyed our stay. "Just what we wanted."
The apartment was perfect, It was in a great part of the city with a huge bed and lovely living space. Very happy with the stay although was not informed of the check in deposit arrangement by the website we booked off. It wasn't a big deal in the end but it was a bit of a surprise and inconvenience at the time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The apartment was clean and tidy and just what I expected for self catering accommodation. It was in a great location just a 2 min walk to the centre's bars and clubs and 5 min walk to the Guiness Storehouse! It was far enough away from the centre not to have all the noise and traffic all night but close enough to walk. Only snag was... it had a big […] living room but a tiny TV with broken speakers, not a big deal but a pain when nothing to do!! Also there is another StayCity Serviced Aparments close to where this one was and taxis/delivery people go to the wrong one all the time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"great location and good value"
i arrived late and left early so was not able to take full advantage of the facilities. however, the staff were friendly and efficient. the room was a good size and well equipped (apartment) and the bed comfortable. will definitely go back. best feature was the location in central Dublin, very near to where i needed to be. if i had one criticism it […] is that the traffic noise outside was loud all night - but that is to be expected of a hotel located on a main thoroughfare of a big city. My family and I stayed for one night while in Dublin during a week long trip to Ireland. The night spent in Staycity Serviced Apartments was miserable. The contraption in the bathroom they called a shower was disgusting and broke after the first use...luckily I was the first one to use it. Parking was a nightmare but not worth mentioning. The location […] of the Apartment was ideal but unfortunately our room was facing a main road in town and it sounded like the Indy 500 all night long. When I told the attendant about the broken shower, he wasn't interested but said he would make a note of it. The only reason the hotel staff, on this rating, gets 2 stars is because they were manning their position for more than 80% of the time...we only got locked out of the building once...unfortunately it was raining. "Nice location, but the street is busy street"
We were ending our trip in Dublin. It was a nice location, but the street was busy with the traffic noise transmitted into the room. The staff were helpful and friendly. Facilities could use an update, some paint and caulking. We would definitely consider using this location should we return to Dublin.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Would be a good apartment, but..."
The location was excellent within Dublin. It looked like it could have been a nice complex. However, there were multiple issues with the maintenance of the site. Buttons in the elevator were broken or missing, carpets were stained, walls were marked, door handles looked like they hadn't been wiped down in years, the bathroom was musty, there were issues […] with the stove and washing machine, and the free Wi Fi didn't reach into our apartment beyond the start of the front hall. We mentioned the stove had a burner that was malfunctioning, but despite the advertised statement that any problems would be fixed in a day we didn't see this resolved in our 3 day stay. we were offered another room to get the Wi Fi, which we didn't take. There was also an intercom phone that was in the hall and not working, and since the booklet in the room said the intercom should work we reported this as well. Turns out they were going to take the intercom system out, but it was high season and they couldn't do the work with people in the room. There was no information that this was the case anywhere, however. It may have been high season, but some of the maintenance issues looked old, and ones like the elevator buttons (how anyone got to the 3rd floor without a button we never did find out) should have been very high priority. I'm sure it's a lovely set of flats when it's cleaned and maintained. It gave us the air of a company with financial issues that was putting off repairs. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very roomy apartment."
Pleasant place, lots of room. Amazing view from the top floor unit we had. Felt like I could move in and live there. A little road noise as it's on a busy Street but not too bad. Slept very well despite having a newborn dealing with the time change. Playyard for baby was provided free of charge.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Needs updating badly"
Having stayed at Staycity St Augustine previously we were expecting more. There was an weird unpleasant odour as soon as you entered, not quite as bad in bedrooms. The toilet took a really long time to refill. No recycling container.Genuine Expedia guest review
right smack in the city centre. rooms were a tiny small though. lift was kinda old and small and unfortunately, it broke down on the night before our departure, hence we had to lug everything down the stairs from 3 floors up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location near Temple Bar"
We had a great stay at Staycity Christchurch. Location near Temple Bar was fantastic. City sighting bus stop 13 outside door. They upgraded us to a 2 bedroom which was brilliant. We stayed at the back of the apartments so it was quiet. The staff were all lovely and having someone there 24 hours was one of the reasons why we booked! They would help us […] and answer questions any time of the day or night! Apartment clean with modern decor but just a bit worn. I am not surprised as they must get used a lot as they in a good location and very good value for money. There is a Spar just around the corner if you turn left out of the door but walk another 5 minutes down the road and you will get to a Tesco Express which is cheaper. You can also walk to O'Connell St in 20-30 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Lots of restaurants close by in Temple Bar if you don't want to cook! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Situated 10 minutes away from temple bar and a very short walk to the nearest tour bus stop. Apartment is spacious with ample living area. "Great Value in Dublin"
Super location. Walked to many attractions like Jameson's. Bonus of the washing machine and kitchen. The spaciousness gave us a break from each other after traveling in cramped hotel rooms in London. The washer in our suite was broken but the staff quickly found another for us. The staff also gave us GREAT tips on restaurants. We enjoyed every single […] restaurant we ate at in Dublin very very much. Would say that it can be pretty noisy but Ireland in general is not a quiet place after the pubs close - you get used to it. Myself and 2 friends stayed here one weekend at the beginning of April. We were upgraded from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment which was good as it meant one of us didn't have to stay on the sofa bed then. The apartments were OK. Just OK, nothing special but not awful either. They served a purpose for us as we just wanted a base and spent […] most of the time out, so only needed a bed and shower facilities really. The photos do make it look a lot better on the website though! The bathroom could have done with being updated and a decent shower put in but it was clean and functional. The beds were very comfy but unfortunately I didn't sleep that well as the road outside was very noisy and didn't stop all night and the windows were not soundproof and being near the Cathedral, the church bells were a rude awakening on Sunday morning! "Get what you pay for"
Having been a resident of Dublin, I knew of this area. Firstly, if you are kept awake at night by traffic - steer clear. There is a very busy road right outside (the High Street) and traffic is constant, and lots of sirens etc. Didn't bother me but I used to live on the A5. The apartment itself is OK, bed's firm, heating is storage heaters and you need […] them all, plus the fires to keep it warm. Bathroom has shower over bath - shower has a pump and is frankly hopeless. Took twice as long as normal and then not much good. Cleanliness was ok unless you looked, like on top of the wardrobe. Front desk is manned 24/7 and needs to be - this isn't a brilliant area. But no problems and very friendly. Location is on the western edge of the central City and very close to Christchurch Cathedral, St Pats, Dublinia, the Castle etc. Very convenient for a few nights in Temple Bar etc. I'd stay there again, but I'm not a tourist so don't need these things. Loads of restaurants nearby, Tesco Express about 150m away - don't use the Centras or Spars - very expensive. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
