This hotel is a good choice if traveling on a medium budget (especially during low season), but still looking for a quality room. Amenities are nice and enjoyable (fitness, pool - open till 9pm). The location is great for shopping at the night bazar and the walking street in the town center is just a few blocks away. All other services are very close (7/11, ATM, massage, interent, bars). Internet in the hotel lobby is way overpriced, just use the foto shop opposite of the hotel. I did not have breakfast, dinner or any drinks in the hotel since everything is provided by locals just around the corner. Ask to get a room in one of the top floors (e.g. 20) for a stunning view over Chiang Mai and into the surrounding mountains.

The first room we were given based on the most inexpensive offering was unacceptable. On the 2nd day we upgraded at a reasonable price to a room on the 23rd floor. Outstanding room and the lounge on the same floor offered a free continental breakfast, afternoon snack,3 free evening cocktails per guest, free wireless internet access, and they laundered 2 items of clothing per day. The staff was very friendly. The only drawback was that there were only 4 elevators and at peak usage times the wait for room on a car can be a while and it stops often so it can take some time. Upgrade to the better room and enjoy your stay at a great price.

This is a well placed hotel, close to the night market, the rooms were spacious but in need of an update from the 90's decor. on the whole were clean and tidy but the carpet could have done with a clean. Staff were friendly but tea and coffee wasnt replaced in the rooms on a daily basis. No opening windows in the room.
