The price is awesome and that is why we stayed. The room was nice and big. The only thing I would change is a better continental breakfast. The neighborhood is nice and is surrounded by other hotels and motels.

Free breakfast was very basic. Bread, jelly, a toaster, orange juice, and some pre-packaged muffins. But hey, that is better than nothing. Room was non-smoking but there was a slight smell of smoke in the room and a stronger smell in the bathroom. Some jerk probably got his death stick fix with the fan on thinking it wouldn't leave a smell. Uncontentious […] smokers make the world stink like they do. Room had a fridge and a microwave. I was happy with my stay. We were just spending the night to sleep and get back on the road the next day. The price was reasonable, the desk workers were nice enough, the room was clean, the place was quiet, they provided us with lots of towels and lots of soaps and shampoos. It was better than what I expected from a hotel this cheap. It was very clean but very dated. The front desk people weren't that friendly and their idea of breakfast was toast and muffins with juice. If you're just looking for a cheap place to sleep for a night, this will do the job.

We were just looking for a lower price place to stay while we were traveling up to Washington State, this was the lowest price on Expedia and weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by how clean our room was. It's close to a bundle of restaurants that cover most tastes but is a bit away from the city center.

The manager on duty when we checked in, Michael, was very helpful and assisted us by switching us to a ground floor room at check-in. Also, they provided me with a hair dryer (which I had forgotten to pack). Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Not much for looks on the outside, but inside was very comfortable. Close and convenient to freeways and restaurants. Not much for continental breakfast, go out to find your own breakfast joint like Valeries Breakfast. Very satisfied.

only stayed one night here, from about 9pm to 9am. Just needed a place to sleep and shower. Only downer was they required a hundred dollar hold on my credit card as a damage deposit. A nice little place to spend the night before your early flight out of Portland. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, and decent free wireless internet. Restaurants and retail stores are just around the corner. No interstate traffic noise.

Very basic but really met all one's basic needs. The room was very clean and had everything it needed (except an iron and ironing board). My only complaint is that the table was jammed in between the bed and window (had to "climb" in or move table). The "back" side of the building was nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable. I like the neighbourhood, its very quiet, just 3 miles from Portland. They have good TV Channel, and WI-FI too. Kids friendly. Clean bed, clean towel. Easy to check out. Friendly staff. The breakfast muffin really good.

I wish I hadn't waited so long to give this inexpensive motel a try; I guess I was afraid that at those prices, I would be unhappy. The Guest House was clean and quiet, right off the main street and close to the highway but, at the back side, looking out on a quiet lot of meadow flowers and trees. This is the cheap, quiet, clean, comfortable motel you always hope to find but never do. It looks a little sketchy from the outside, but trust me, it is nothing to be afraid of. It's owned by an Indian family, the neighborhood is fine, it's tucked in with some other hotels and a small office park. Plenty of places to eat, Starbucks next door, Fred Meyer […] and other shopping across the street. Easy on/off access to I-205. This place is old, has mismatched furniture, drapes, bedspread, etc. BUT - it is very clean, the beds are comfortable enough, clean towels, a little fridge and microwave. AC works fine, and for an old place, no moldy smells. My room was non-smoking and it was exactly that. And it was quiet! So for a no-frills cheap place to sleep and shower, this is the spot. Probably not what you want for a family vacation, but if you are traveling and just need a cheap place to sleep and shower that's clean and comfy, it's fine for 1 or 2 people. Read more

I was looking for an economical place to stay while waiting for my apartment to be ready. I checked all of the hotels in the area and this one had the best rate. It is a family operated motel and from the outside does not look quite as nice as the Extended Stay next door or others but the rooms are sufficiently sized for a motel, the carpet and wals […] in good shape, average beds but it's clean and there is plenty of hot water and good wi-fi. Rooms have microwave and refrigerator (a coffee maker would be nice), I understand they have a small breakfast offering in the office but I have my own stuff. AC/Heat work well. All in all, it was a pretty good hotel. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean, and it was within easy walking distance to the MAX (public transit train) to get into downtown. The only complaint I had about the actual hotel is that there weren't enough electrical outlets for the hotel. They provide a coffee maker, a mini-fridge, and a microwave, […] and you could only use two of the devices at a time, and only one if you bring something of your own to plug in (like a laptop, for example.) The other complaint is about the restaurant attached to the hotel. Normally I would not include the restaurant in a hotel review, but the hotel strongly encouraged the guests to eat there for breakfast. The restaurant's food was far from satisfactory, though the staff were nice there too. So, all in all, not the best hotel I've ever stayed at, but far from the worst. Read more

The room was clean. The environment was well maintained but of very inexpensive quality. For a simple place to sleep, it was adequate, with no frills or extras. My wife and I booked a night at this small motel in Vancouver, WA due to the low price, positive reviews, and proximity to Portland, OR airport. It was exactly as we expected: nothing fancy but a nice quiet place to spend the night. Besides being clean, bonuses included a small fridge, microwave, free wi-fi, and cable. This hotel was clean and reasonable for the price. We were just looking for a place close to Portland to sleep when we arrived in town and before heading out on a road trip. It's not fancy at all, but for a comfortable quiet place to sleep, it did the trick. I was a bit disappointed that "continental breakfast" turned out to be some pre-packaged muffins […] and a half gallon or orange juice next to the cash register. While it seemed rather sparse to me, apparently this is not unusal for the region as every other hotel we stayed at over 2 weeks had a similar offering. Read more
