This hotel is perfectly situated off Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. The staff is extremely friendly and were able to help with several recommendations. I would recommend that you bring towels and pillows with you, as theirs are somewhat undersized and not too comfy. Other than that, the room was adequately sized (for Europe), the bathroom was amazing, and the hotel was nice and quiet, despite their close proximity to the heart of the city. They even have a free ice machine on the ground floor. I have already recommended this hotel to a colleague and would definitely stay here agian. Make sure to have the churros at the cafe next door!

We stayed on the top floor, and the room was nice, spacious, clean, and elegant. However, I kept waking up throughout the night because the elevator motors would make a loud noise when people used the elevator. It wasn't a huge problem during the week when less people were using the elevator at night, but it constantly woke me up over the weekend, when people were up all hours of the night. So be warned...

I really can't say enough about how great this hotel is. Convenience: It's literally a 1 minute walk from the train station (just need to cross through... a pedestrian underpass). It's also right on the beach, less than a minute walk. Comfort: The room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. It was clean and spacious. The spa was also great. It was spacious and had a variety of complementary activities (pool, sauna, hammam, etc) as well as a number of specialized treatments one could pay for. Staff: The hotel staff was friendly, and while they insist on a punctual checkout time, they let me store my luggage so that I could make one last trip to the beach. Food: The restaurant provided a GREAT spread for breakfast. I also ate lunch there once, and the food was quite exquisite! There are a number of good restaurants and cheaper eateries nearby though, so as tempting as it would be to just eat all your meals at the hotel and also its' beachfront cafe, do be sure to explore other venues. the only bad point was that reception recommended I take a taxi to hotel from airport, there is a train station into barcelona just 2 mins walk behind the thotel!!!!. With train from aiport it wouls have cost just a few euros compared to the tac=xi cost. I was annoyed

Stayed 2 nights. Room clean but rather dated and shabby. The veneer on the furniture was worn and broken. The noise from the trains was clearly noticable with windows fully closed. Breakfast is plentiful, but one might find the flies on the uncovered cold cuts a bit disconcerting. There was an electricity cut on the one full day I had there, so the […] pool, sauna, spa etc. were closed. Although the spa is the only reason to book this hotel we were told that as it was not their fault so there would be no compensation. After some argument, the manager agreed to waive our €22.00 bill for breakfast. There is nothing interesting in the surrounding area. Read more

Su construcción es moderna y práctica. Para personas que no buscan lo barato, es un balneario realmente completo en todas las gamas de servicios y con una profesionalidad y atención al cliente encomiables. Además posee un circuito, que no realicé ya que a mi esposa y a mi nos gustan los servicios individualizados. Creo que debería criticar el baño flotante […] (agua muy densa y que flotas sin hacer movimiento alguno, lo que te da una relajación extrema). Éste debería ser en una pequeña piscina, no en una bañera aunque sea grande, me explicaré: Si las dimensiones lo permiten tu postura correcta es la de un "Cristo" boca arriba y, como ya he dicho la relajación es total. Al contrario, al ser una bañera grande, debes entrecruzar los dedos para unir las manos y éstas ponerlas en la nuca. La relajación no es total. El servicio de restauración es totalmente correcto, siempre que no busques el gastar poco. Tiene parking particular que, como todo, no es barato. Está al lado de la playa llamada "3 micos". para ser un hotel delante del mar, y con thalasoterapia, tiene dos defectos sustanciales. 1. que desde las terrazas del hotel se ve con mucha dificultad el mar y no tiene acceso desde la terraza al mar, no hay una sola bajada directa. 2. no tiene piscina exterior, ni de agua salada ni de agua dulce.
