We booked this hotel on a B&B basis only, the location was excellent for access to other facilities in Benalmadena. Just over the road from the beach that also had good amenties. We can wholeheartedly recommend breakfast, served without all the hustle, bustle & noise usually associated with busy holiday hotels. The pool area is on the first floor, well maintained but we found the lack of a bar and no service (refreshments) a bit of an inconvenience. Our room was located on the top floor, the only access was via a lift that was only available from the second floor, but there was no staircase access which would have been useful when the lifts were very busy.

The location was very good. Numerous bars and restaurants around the vicinityn and a level walk to the Puerto Marina. Even though the hotel is situated on the main coastal road, the noise of the traffic didn't really bother us at all which was surprising. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless, possibly one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in! We had "all you can eat" breakfasts and dinners which was well worth it and the friendliness of the waiting staff was excellent (despite one night turning up at the restaurant only a couple of minutes before service was due to finish). The room was excellent with a balcony, overlooking the pool and we could also see the sea. From what I gather from other guests, the hotel gets a lot of repeated bookings which I guess says it all. I don't think anyone could go far wrong in staying at Las Arenas Hotel.
