This hotel was perfect for us. We were a group of 3 each had our own beds. It was very clean and comfortable, had free wifi, and provided good breakfast. The location was awesome right in the middle of old town and new town close to all the sights and tons of shopping. The people at the front desk were also very nice and helpful. super location and service

This location is very good, and hotel has daily breakfast spread that is outstanding. Hotel is clean and staff is fine. Only downside is that the hotel does not have a lobby or bar for folks to come back for a nightcap and talk.

The location was fantastic as well as the breakfast. It is located right in the heart of all the action, shopping and restaurants. The room was right on the main street which was fun, but could get to be a little loud at night.

Friday Hotel is perfectly situated between Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square and a metro stop. Our room and the hotel itself was nicely decorated and cozy. It has a fantastic continental breakfast and free WiFi was the cherry on top. If we return to Prague, we're staying here.

Breakfast was nice, the room we got was just huge. The hotel is vary cozy. Great great location! easy to get too, and the best base point to get everywhere.

Friday Hotel is located right in the middle of everything you need to see. In 5 minutes you are in the cities main square. Hotel room was large in relation to european standards, with a large shower/ tub combo. Staff was helpfull, and breakfast was good. Definitly would stay there again.

Its was a very nice hotel. It was locate in the heart of the old town square. Air conditioned rooms, real king size beds, and my favorite part was the breakfast. OMG! What an amazing selection for breakfast. Planning on going again next year, definitely staying there again.

Room was nice but smelled like old sigarette when windows was closed. Bed was clean but could have been a little softer and the tv was very small. We found the Friday on Hotels.com and stayed because of the location and reviews. The Hotel did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Alexander is a superb host and gentleman - when we had a problem with our room (a broken light fixture) they moved us to an upgraded Suite. The hotel is perfectly located to enjoy Prague. Very nice staff, very comfortable room (except for the flimsy roll away bed) bigger than most European hotel rooms, very nice hot breakfast, and right in the center of the Praha visitors want to see. We stayed at the Friday Hotel for 3 days in June, 2011. Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with the stay. The hotel's location is a little bit away from the main sights, but it's located less than a block away from a Metro stop (use the A line), so it's easy to get to everything. Our room was good-sized by European standards and included a bathroom […] with a combination shower and Jacuzzi tub, which was greatly appreciated after a day of walking around. The included breakfast was one of the best I've come across and better than many I've paid for. The staff at the hotel was unfailingly friendly and helpful. Prague was a more expensive town than I imagined (primarily for food) but we found this Hotel was very good value. Very clean and well kept, with an artistic, boutique-hotel ambiance at half the price I've paid elsewhere. The buffet breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold choices, with coffee and tea available 24-7. The staff were always courteous […] and helpful with answers to our transport questions. It's centrally located near lots of public transport choices on the touristy pedestrian walk-streets, and while that gives you immediate access to shops and restaurants, it can be noisy at night. If you are a light sleeper that may be an issue, or anther room in the hotel might be better, but for us it was a great stay and I would certainly recommend it and return. Read more

I absolutely recommend this boutique hotel IN THE HEART of old town Prague (Prague 1) just 5 minutes stroll to each of Namesti Republiky, Old Town Square, and Wenselas Square. Literally 30m from a green line A metro station (Mustek). So easy to get to from the airport (simply purchase a 26kr = 1Eu ticket good for 75 min unlimited ride on bus/metro/tram; […] from Terminal 2 take EITHER the 100 bus to Zilcin end of yellow line and take 12th stop = Mustek or from same terminal take 119 bus to Zejvicka end of green line and the 4th stop is Mustek. Exit from metro onto Na Prikope . This was a modest room but no worries - good service, had mini bar/fridge, nice hot shower and medium to good quality bed. What I LOVED and actually greatly judge a hotel by (in addition to location!) is the breakfast and free WiFi. Friday Hotel does NOT disappoint on any of the three standards I grade by. Simply one of the best buffet breakfasts I've had in Europe. Period. Great selection of fruit, cereal, veggies, hot sides, cheese, breads, pastries, hot and cold drinks. And the free wi-fi was a huge plus - router located in the breakfast area on 1st floor (above ground floor) so the stronger signal is found in rooms on 1st floor like I was. Loved staying here and having a great meal to start the long days of sight seeing, convenient to quickly run back and drop off purchases or bags prior to next event, comfy place to sleep/shower and get in contact w/ home via wi-fi. Hotel’s location is great! It’s only a short walk to the Old Town Square and close to several shopping centers and restaurants. Hotel staff spoke English well, and they were very friendly. The free breakfast was excellent, and the 24/7 coffee and espresso maker was very convenient! My room was nice, large and pretty clean, and the Victorian style furniture […] worked well. The location is great, right next to the metro, only a couple blocks from the Old Town Square and almost on Wenceslaus Square. The room was a little small, but nice. The complimentary breakfast was great! A buffet with eggs, meat, cereal and other goodies every morning! That saved us tons of money. This hotel is nicely done. The remodeling was good. The room basic, but very comfortable. However, the housekeeping was very poor. I arrived at 5pm to find my room not ready. The bed had no sheets, and was dirty. The front desk refused to give me another room. An hour later it was cleaness. Housekeeping will not come unless requested, and there work […] is very poor. The location was great. The hotel was clean and very well priced. A quick walk to the square and then on to the Charles Bridge. The service was excellent and a nice selection at breakfast. Definitely recommended for the traveller looking for good accomodations without breaking hte bank.

The hotel had the best location possible - near everything. 5 minute walk from the train station (we got in by traing), 3minutes from the old town square. there was a very nice black theatre right in front of the hotel as well as lots of restaurants, bars, shops and even a casino. The hotel is on a pedestrian street with convinient access to taxis etc. […] The breakfast was great - ask for hot croisants - they were great. This hotel was in a great location close to all the must see sights! We found the hotel with no problem and check in was good. Our room was nice, but housekeeping the next day did not clean the room. They only made up the bed. The breakfast was good. Overall, I would recommend this Hotel!

Free wireless Internet, free hot buffet breakfast, located on the same block as the Mustek subway station, large room and bath (even by European standards), 24-hour front desk, walking distance to many major tourist destinations, and surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and bars. There was a significant language barrier with front desk personnel, so […] we just didn't bother to ask for advice or directions after the first day. It's a great location, hotel was v nice, sooo quiet! Local to everything, we walked everywhere! I'd totally recommend this hotel. Breakfast not great but we were happy with the pasteries!

Excellent location within walking distance of all major attractions. Room clean and tidy. Staff helpful and the breakfast was an added bonus.

This is a very nice hotel with a great central location and friendly, helpful staff. The state of the room (maintenance-wise) was below expectations but staff were prompt to respond to my requests for items to be fixed. My main issue with the hotel is the fact that this strip is very active and noisy at night with a red light area only a short distance […] away and parties going on every night. Nice and clean hotel. Pleasant receptionists speak English and very helpful. Rooms comfortable and warm (needed to be it was -10 when we were there). Breakfast was varied and more than adequate. Hotel is in a convenient location near to all major sights. Only disappointment was that there was no bar or lounge area where you could relax, so it was straight […] to the room after your day sightseeing. Good hotel in easy surroundings. Please note that it is very difficult to reach the hotel by Taxi, as they can only park about 200m away.

On our arrival to Friday Hotel my partner and I were expecting to be treated to a lovely room, as seen on the pictures on Hotels.com. However when we got to our room it was the complete opposite to the photos. It was ugly, outdated, dirty, and worst of all smelled very badly of cigarette smoke. We asked to be moved to a room similar to the many photos […] online, but the reception lady was not very accommodating. She moved us to an even uglier, smaller room with slanted walls which we were very unhappy with. I'd also like to note that there was only one person working there the entire time so if you needed something brought to your room you had to get it from reception yourself. There was never a manager around and you had to move your own bags which is not like any 4 star hotel I've ever been to. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. It was very conviniently located close to the old town, museums, restaurants, bars.. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast good, diverse and plentiful.. No complaints at all, I would definitely choose this hotel for the next stay in Prague!

A small stylish, but basic hotel. Located very centrally, within easy walking distance of the Old Town square, the Charles Bridge, shops etc. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hot and cold breakfast buffet choice was very good. The hotel reception were very helpful.

Situated at the heart of the shopping district and is just minutes away from other tourist attractions. the place is clean and new, and the beds are comfortable. i didnt request but i got a jacuzzi tub in my toilet! there is also free wifi. value for money.

Booked this hotel for a short Christmas break and it worked like a treat. Close to shops and Wencenlas Square. It looked nice at first but our room could have done with a little bit more care like some lights were not working and a couple of lamps failing. The wallpaper was pilling. Also because the bathroon had a skylight, we didn't have enough light […] at night making the shower usage impossible. There was also a drainage smell in the bathroom which was replaced by breakfast smell in the mornings. Overall great, friendly staff. I would still stay there again. Read more

If your looking for a central place to stay that oozes chique hotel... stay here! The breakfast is great and the beds are comfy (and massive!) Location is perfect to see all sights. Your also right beside a metro station for easy access to sights and airport! A top choice for any occasion.
