Let's face it, you're probably here because of the water park and it's fun. But take away the water park and other (mediocre) attractions and you've got a run-of-the-mill hotel that's on the tired side. The service is good but the rooms are tired. One stay is enough for me.

Since hotel room rates are set to maintain its water playground, best deal (and focus) here were inclusive access to the indoor aquatic facilities. Water quality and temperature were good, guards were attentive/ professional, and maintenance was generally good. In a wintertime visit, we found non-moving (kiddie pool) water was cooler. Stayed here with our 3 kids ages 14, 10, 7. Waterpark was great. Ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast priced a little high but its a buffet and very convenient so for us it was worth it. Everything is right there we never left the building until we checked out. Already planning a visit back in the spring.

Our 3rd visit to Great Wolf Lodge Williamsburg and it was the best yet. We were upgraded to a grizzly suite at no charge, our 3 loved the MagiQuest again and of course, wore themselves out at the waterpark. Very clean and comfy room - hotel is kept very clean and cozy feeling throughout. Really enjoy this hotel!

Totally not worth the cost of a one night stay. The room was dirty, with a broken couch, we could hear the people above us all night long running around. We attended a kid activity where they were doing balloon animals and my daughters were not given a balloon animal because "their time was up for the day", as they handed a balloon animal to another […] child. Wonderful! The hotel had something for each member to enjoy! Water park, the rockwall, arcade, candy store, and the Magic Quest game was an incredible addition! It's all about the kids! Everything is geared toward the kids (except maybe the beer at the outside pool cafe or the Starbucks for mom). It was fun for all seven of my family members from 4 to 48 years old.

I stayed for a few days with my family of 5 (3 children). Hotel is right of 64 which is convenient. Lodge is huge! Service was excellent, for example, we arrived before check-in time so they took our cell # and said they would call when our room was ready. We said we would be in their resteraunt eating. Nothing included besides the waterpark which was very nice but the water in the lazy river seemed murky/ not sparkling clean to us. Our room was roomy enough for 5 people but the bathroom was tiny with no room for more than one person. The carpet was clean but ready to be updated. The resteraunt food was very good. It is the perfect place for a family vacation. Very kid friendly with plenty to keep them busy. If you don't plan to venture out of the hotel then a few days is enough to cover all there is to do. I recommend purchasing either a "paw pass" or "wolf pass" for the kids. Gives you 10% off all purchases and includes several activities at a lower cost. Waterpark […] is heavily lifegaurded so if your kid is a good swimmer then you can feel confident they will be just fine riding the slides, etc while you sit and enjoy some pool time of your own. There is also a game called "magiquest" that keeps them busy during the late evening/night hours and again if your kids are old enough they can play while you relax in your room. When we arrived, our room was not ready but we were offered a gift card for dinner or anywhere at the resort. The staff was great. There was a fire alarm at 10:00 p.m. which was unsettling but turned out to be nothing. Thank goodness.

Our first time, we stayed in the Wolfes Den Room and the kids loved it. The room was little dated with a big old box TV and the room was obviously used often. That being said it was comfortable and as I said earlier the kids loved it. Probably some of the friendliest staff at any resort we have stayed out. The hotel just had an overall feeling of comfort and we had no problem letting our 11 year old take his little sis on the Magic Quest. There is tons for the kids to do and most of the extras are at or below other hotel/attraction costs. The kids final word was best hotel ever and more fun than Disney (in fairness stomach virus hit in Disney). Our only regret was not booking a longer stay. This was our 1st visit and we had an amazing time! My husband and I took our 3 kids (7,5, & 9 mo) for our 7 yr olds birthday. We upgraded to the Kids Kamp room and I highly recommend it. They had their own little "room" (really just a nook in the middle of the room) with bunk beds and a tv. But for them to have their own space made things much more […] enjoyable for my husband and I. The lodge is decorated so well there is something in every corner. But the best part is all the activities for kids. The water park was a blast, my kids did Magic Quest for hours, story time, balloon animals, the show in the lobby, not to mention the things we didn't even have time to do (i.e. bowling, arcade, compass quest) The food was good, not amazing but not bad either. They neglected to vac and replenish our room with towels and coffee and after calling the front desk 3x with no answer, we had to walk down and request they re-clean/ stock the room. We had a great time. But a few employee's were not so polite. My son called about the buffet before we got there and they answered abruptly and hung up on him. Then in the buffet room a waiter wasn't very polite in his response to a customer. Otherwise everyone else did a great job. Oh our room was a little on the warm side.

Rooms were very clean and spacious everything worked bathroom was a little small. I was a little frustrated with the TV which was positioned so you could use it in the bedroom and living room area which was nice however the TV would not turn around enough to see a full picture in the living room so we had to watch it on an angle which was akward and […] if it was turned to much it had some static. I dont' know if it's because it is direct tv or not. All in all tv picture was clear and the resort staff were extremely pleasant. The water slides were a blast for our selves and our 7 year old daughter and they had clean towels around the water areas very convenient. They had a starbucks,hagen daaz ice cream etc. Everything to your childs and hearts content right at the resort. Chef Lopes and his staff were wonderful especially Stephannie our waitress and the hostess. The food in their restaurant especially the Wok or Chinese Thai food was excellent and we made sure that the salad was locally grown meaning fresh no chemicals,pesticides etc.The shrimp and chicken tasted fresh!!!
