friendly staff, clean big rooms. there was a big thunderstorm outside...and i heard hardly anything in my room. not too many restaurants in the vicinity...and the area doesn't look too nice. but i drove to the neighboring town (12 miles) where there was plenty to choose from.

We came down on a Friday night so we would be able to make it to Magic Springs when they opened the next day to make the most of our family get away. I was satisfied with the hotel upon check-in. I noticed that our room was warm but it was very hot that day and assumed it would cool off as the evening went on. It did not! After our 4-year-old was already […] asleep, we noticed our air conditioner was not working properly. I went down to the front desk at about 11:30pm and asked for a fan. The staff person informed me that they did not have one. I asked if we could change rooms but leave our belongings in our current room so that I didn't have to wake up my child to gather everything up. I just wanted to pick her up (hopefully still sleeping) and move her. The staff person quite rudely informed me that was not possible. This basically left us no choice but to stay in our hot room. It was a miserable night! I also noticed that the hot tub was very old and dingy and many of the snack machines were empty- so one had to go to other floors to get snacks. The breakfast was decent. Love the hotel, but the air conditioner was not on when we arrived and the room was very hot, and it did cool very well at all. They were out of the chocolate chip cookies and the full breakfast was only so so. There is a bar/grill next door that was very busy, but there was no noise. Indoor pool had way to much chlorine to swim.

GREAT hotel for the price. The continental breakfast was ok. If you like a quick bagel and cup of coffee. The pool was very refreshing and clean. The country inn and suites is a nice hotel. It is located a couple of miles away from downtown where the main strip/bath houses/casino is located. If all you are doing is going to hang out at those location you may want to stay closer. Our room was clean and well stocked. The free breakfast every morning is decent with a good variety of items. We saved the money we would have spent on breakfast and went to nicer places to eat for lunch and dinner. The mattress on the bed was a bit on the uncomfortable side but I have a sensitive back but every bed besides my own is uncomfortable to me. Great hotel in a decent location for a good price. We arrived at the hotel at 12:30 pm to be told the room would not be ready for at least another hour. Once we did get into the room, the drapes that covered the window were see through and did not shield the outside light at all. After about 1 hour the air conditioner stopped working. Upon calling the desk, we were told we could either wait for the […] repair man to arrive or move to another room. We opted to move. Our daughter was excited about swimming in the indoor pool. When we got to the pool, other guests informed us that someone had had a bowel movement in the pool and it was still there. The front desk was called several times and finally the pool was closed. This was around 7:30 pm. The next morning around 9:00 am there were guests in the pool. We decided to move to the hot tub since we couldn't use the pool. After about 10 minutes, we began to notice mold and mildue on the side of the tub and around the overflow drains which looked to have been there awhile. We go to Hot Springs at least twice a year and after this experience with Country Inn @ Suites, we will never stay there again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone we consider a friend. The room smelled musty. The pool is small and over crowed, the water was cold. The breakfast area is very small, only about 6 small tables. The employees worked very hard always very nice. Internet problems on our stay didn't help.

We recently spent three nights at the Country Inn and Suites in Hot Springs. When we checked into our room, we noticed it seemed a little warm, but figured it would cool off with the air on high. After going out for a few hours, we came back to a sweltering room! We called the desk and they did immedicately move us to another room. This room had significant […] water damage.....including some spots in the bathroom that looked suspiciously like mold. We were on the top floor, so the damage had to be due to a roof leak. The wallpaper in the bathroom was coming down, and there were even water damage spots above the bed. The worst problem, however, was the horribly rude maids! They would just open the door and walk into your room without even knocking! After the second morning of this, we just had them give us clean towels and leave. The breakfast was good, although the breakfast area was very small and crowded. The desk clerks were overall very nice, except for the fact that I had to wait 5 minutes for one to come in from smoking out front so I could check out. The lobby was very warm and inviting, and the cookies were a nice touch! Read more

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Country Inn and Suites during our recent vacation to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Everything was awesome! The breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We will definitely stay at the Country Inn the next time we return to Hot Springs!

My husband and I went to Hot Springs on a whim and were extremely pleased with this hotel. It was clean, newly renovated, comfortable and the location was close enough. It has a nice indoor with a hot tub and a great breakfast. I really couldn't have asked for more. Especially for the price!!! I would tell anyone to go here.

the room seemed to smell like it used to be a smoking room at one time..sorta stale. Breakfast was a disappointment..canned fruit, frozen donuts and plain milk gravy with breaded chicken as a side one day. Not even oatmeal one day! Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
