"Great location, nice property"
This is easy on and off the highway. The property has a very nice indoor pool and hot tub. The bonus is the Stay Bridge next door has sharing privileges so you can also use their outdoor pool which was very warm. The room was clean and comfortable but the stair ways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I would stay again.

My mom and I were traveling cross country and stopped here on our way. The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff recommended an excellent restaurant: The Brass Rail. We were also upgraded to a suite, which was even better. I would recommend this Holiday Inn Express hands down!

I stayed here for 5 nights while attending a workshop. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was conveniently located next to I-64, that being said, expect to hear traffic (especially trucks) during the night. My suite was roomy and had separate sitting/sleeping areas. It had a mini fridge, microwave and sink. The room was clean but had a strange chemical smell. I found the mattress to be very soft and pillowy which seems to be a trend these days. You have a choice of firm and soft pillows which is a nice touch. They serve a good hot breakfast in the morning with something for everyone and had cookies in the lobby each afternoon.

What a wonder stop. 1st impressions count and as we drove up it was well lit and very neat in appearance. It did not disappoint us at all. Great room, comfortable beds, clean, good breakfast in the morning. Got to relax in the pool and would stay here again.
"Average Holiday Inn Express"

I stayed here on business for a few days. I found it to be a good Holiday Inn Express, with good breakfast in the morning and good cookies in the afternoon. Most rooms do not have a mini-fridge and the ice machines are only on floors 3 and 1. The hotel is very conveniently located to I-64 and many nice restaurants.

The room was not cramped, very clean and pleasant to stay in. Front desk very friendly and helpful with our questions. It was just a one night stay as we were traveling, location was great with easy access to the highways. Surrounding area was nice with lots of choices to eat and stores to pick up necessities. Nice breakfast included
"One night stay on Business"

Stayed here single nights on business multiple times. Clean hotel with a small but decent fitness room. Free breakfast consists of the usual premade cheese omlets, meat changes daily, cereals, waffle maker, juices and fruits. Odd way to get to the hotel from the parkway but not too bad. Good restaurants nearby.
"Employees Nice, Other Things Average"

I was impressed with the employees here. I had a hard time finding the place and was driving with a cat who wouldn't stop meowing. When I got to the front desk, I was obviously stressed. The lady who checked me in, Diane I believe, was so sympathetic. She said several times how sorry she was. Of course it wasn't her fault, but sympathy is always appreciated. I asked her if there was a way to get something for supper where I didn't have to get on the main road again, and she directed me to a pizza/sandwich shop that was just a block away. In the morning, I talked to a couple of housekeepers, telling them that my cat was in the room so they wouldn't go in there while I was getting breakfast. They were very polite and pleasant, and when my cat and I did finally leave, they said how pretty she was. As for the breakfast, it was okay. Their "famous" cinnamon rolls were large and tasty enough, and the biscuits and gravy were fine and warm. The Wi-Fi was very spotty so I eventually gave up on it. My TV was strange - it was stuck in a mode where just the background lighting was on, which was keeping me awake. I called the front desk and said I didn't really care to watch it and they didn't have to come up to fix it, but would it be okay if I pulled the plug to get it to turn off (thought that might trigger an alarm or something). Once I did that everything was okay. The room was very clean and the mattress was comfortable. Didn't hear anything from other rooms. One word of caution - this hotel is not right on the highway (Rt. 70). It is about a 20-minute drive south of it and not easy to find. I thought I knew what I was doing but finally had to break down and plug in the GPS. I would probably stay here again anyway if I had my cat with me because they have just a nominal pet fee, as opposed to the ones on the highway.
"Always a good place to stay convienent to interstate"

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They informed us when we stay next year they will have a complete renovation. The breakfast area is small for a large hotel, but the breakfast attendant kept everything replenished and cleaned.
"Okay for what we needed. "
I love Holiday Inn, we stay at Holiday Inn's almost every time we are in need of a hotel. I used my reward points to stay at this hotel one night so my son could be with his bowling team early the next morning. It wasn't as nice as the other HIE's I've stayed in, but it met our needs for the short 12 hours we stayed here. Staff is friendly, gave us complementary water bottle when we checked in. Pool was nice with hot tub for the kids to play. Room was a little dated, but clean. Overall, fair hotel for our needs and to use a free night.
