Brit Hotel Le Relais du Mont - Ceaux

This place was fine. Firstly, when you drive along the only road to get to this place, there is a barrier/gate type thing. You need a code to get thru. I pushed the button and they told me to contact the hotel to get it??? Hotels.com didn't mention this in a confirmation email??? Anyway, we called the hotel and got it. Hotel is in the Main Street, parking across the road in an open parking area. Reception staff spoke English ok. Room was quite large, wifi only worked the closer you got to the door. Shower was fine, bed fine, - only problem was the door downstairs. It was soooo loud it just kept banging as guests left. Sounded like gunshots. The abbey is about 2km down the road. Perfect location. Bus stops out the front of hotel. Recommended .

This hotel was super quaint and had everything that my wife and I needed. Clean, comfortable beds along with clean bathroom and toiler room. It was more than you would expect from such a small hotel in an even smaller town like Pontorson. The location was excellent and less than 10 minutes from parking lots of Mont Saint Michel. The ONLY complaint that my wife and I had was that there were NO screens on the terrace doors or the bathroom window. This was a bit of a pain because we had no air circulation at night while we were sleeping, and couldnt really open the windows because of the immense amount of flys, mosquitos, spiders etc etc... Either way, we would stay again- but please invest in some screens.

The hotel was centrally located, room was clean and comfortable. The food was very good and we were able to walk around town just outside our door.

Great value family room, a kettle would have been good but lovely hotel.
