Had a great time! They upgraded us to a larger room to put us next to our friends. The room was Okay - comfy bed and they had a real causal laid back attitude in Vermont - if you can roll with the punches your GOLD! We had no heat in our room but a roaring fire place and they gave us a ton of wood and it all worked out fine. I enjoyed our stay...

The Rodeway Inn, Bellows Falls, Vt, was in the process of remodeling. That said, it was pleasant and comfortable. The room was big, also providing a small table and refridgerator. The bathroom was exceptionally large and clean. Heat could be set to a personal choice. A continental breakfast was provided for free. The telephone did not seem to work, but that was the only inconvinience. Overall, although not a four star motel, it met all our needs, was comfortable, clean and quiet. We would be happy to stay again.

The Econolodge in Manchester was perfect for an overnight stay between two days of skiing. It was clean, brightly painted, and pleasant. Of course when paying for Econolodge you are not expecting super-fancy, but it met all expectations. Only one complaint: the lobby could have been better ventilated with actual fresh air instead of air fresheners. We would definitely go back!

Room was clean, with a queen-sized bed. The linens were very comfortable: soft and cozy. Pillows were perfect. The room with a view was a ways away from... the bathroom, but robes were provided, which was a nice touch. We were the only guests, so sharing a bath was not an issue as it might have been otherwise. Suzy was very pleasant and breakfast was quite tasty. Suzannes pancakes are the best I have eaten so far in the US. And she made some extra for me. :-) the place familiary and I felt a little like ina museum. Suzanne has lots of small and bigger old porcelans that fit well to the old house of 1890. It takes you to a different world...

We only stayed one night here as we were travelling around Vermont but I can say it was a pleasant one. The B&B is easy to get get to, the propertier very accomadating. The room was clean and comfortable. My only dissappointment was with the breakfast. We received 3 small, but delicious pancakes and a few pieces of fruit. The room was clean but no TV, which is fine, but it was almost too quiet in the house as we were the only guests the first night. Breakfast was good, but small. I've had much better experiences at bed & breakfasts in Vermont, for only a bit more money... Chester is a cute town but it's very very quiet in the evenings.
