Courtyard by Marriott West Homestead Waterfront - West Homestead

Stayed for a weekend to visit local colleges for my daughter. wanted something with plenty of options for our downtime. All of the local restaurants and stores fit the bill perfectly. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Will use this location again

Way too much carpet fresh! Breakfast was nice but they do not serve any other meals, unlike many Courtyards we have stayed at in the past. Location was in closw proximity to many shops/ dining and 15 min. to downtown Pittsburgh. Nothing to write home about...overall ok place.

Enjoyed the Staff and location.... The river view with the uninhabited treefilled hillside across the river allows you to escape the urban setting in which you are in.

This is the third time we've stayed at this hotel and each time it has been a pleasure. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The bed was sooooo comfortable we did not want to leave it. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of appetizing choices. We'll definitely stay here again when we're in the area!

The service at the hotel was excellent! I needed a crib and called ahead. Heather made sure that it was in our room when we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and made our stay feel like home.

Nice size room. Good firm beds and lots of extra pillows. The hotel is by the river, in a nice shopping mall with high-end stores and some restaurants. There is a train nearby, so, you do hear that through the night, but, otherwise, it's a quiet area.

This Courtyard is located about 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh across the river. The back of the hotel has a view of the river. The price was lower than staying anywhere in Pittsburgh and it's next to a new shopping area with lots of (chain) restaurants and pleasant outdoor seating. Excellent breakfast buffet; we ate there every day. Excellent location, in a new super-mall with high-end stores and some very good restaurants. Lovely location, right on the Monongahela River, very scenic. Convenient to Pittsburgh attractions which we had gone there to visit. And plenty of parking.

We loved that this hotel was within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and Starbucks. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, overall a great stay. Our boys enjoyed the pool and workout room, and it was nice to have a drink on the patio after shopping. Would recommend it!

We stayed two nights to attend a Brandi Carlile concert at the Carnegie Library theater and were pleased with our accomodations. The location was an easy walk to the theater and having the Waterfront mall across the street was another plus.

The management of this hotel were as helpful as any I have ever dealt with before, very friendly and bright. The only problem I had with anything was that after we got home from the concert, we could not get a hot shower, the water was luke warm at best. The next morning the water was hot and all was well again.

Thank you first to Pam who was working at the front desk . she greeted us with a smile and was very helpful with any area info we needed - Our rooms were beautiful & very comfortable - they use heatpumps so if you are like me and get a bit chilly just bump the thermostat up a degree and you will feel toasty. Location was perfect - our daughter (who […] lives in Pittsburgh) was being suprised by her boyfriend with a Flash Mob Proposal across the street at the Lowes Theater - it was amazing !!! We were relaxed from our 4 hour drive and ready for the wonderful evening - thanks to the nap we took in our very cozy bed. I stay here quite often, two kids in college in the area. Always very nice. Free parking is a bonus when you are staying multiple nights it can add up. Great restaurants and shopping right in the area.

room was very nice, but on the expensive side. We were still in the room when cleaning came by with the privacy notice out before 10 am. No second attempt was made to clean room later. Internet is free, coffee in lobby is free, high charge for breakfast.

Before staying here I would recommend calling the hotel about the stink bugs. We had stink bugs in our room every night. The hotel would vacuum them out. They said it was normal for the hotel to be infested with these creatures.

We got to the hotel late in the evening and it was very quiet. The room was very comfortable. The bed was fantastic, I think all of us fell asleep almost immediately. Would stay here again definitely.
