This is a very nice apartment. However, just beware that the pillows are lumpy or thin. In fact, we found hard beds and lumpy pillows to be the norm all over Portugal! Bring some dishwasher tablets, laundry soap (I put some in a 3oz bottle). I wish I would have brought dish soap as well. Oh, bring you own suntan lotion! The smallest bottle (about 3 oz) is almost $15...crazy expensive! We had a car, which I think was the smartest way to check out the whole area. The beaches are amazing especially near the point. There are great boat rides to the grottos, take one to show you where all the great beaches are for about 10 euros per person. We had a great 4 days at this hotel! The only improvement I could suggest (besides the pillows) is adding a hot tub to the pool area. That would have made the stay perfect!

The food for breakfast was good. The dinner food was just average and the location required either driving where it was hard to find parking or taking a taxi. The nightclub entertainment was good, particularly the group with three girls singing popular songs in several languages. We should have added another day so we could enjoy the beach in Albufiera.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The pools, restaurants, and accommodations were all top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and the children's club well above average. We agreed there really was nothing at all that we would change, which is incredibly rare. It is a beautiful resort with exceptional service.

When we got to our room, there was no toilet paper, no pillow cases, no soap in the bathroom, no towels and the other room wasn't made up. They just left the comforter in a big pile. I called the front desk and they brought up one role of paper, a towel and pillow cases. His explanation was "sometimes it happens". Definitely not worth what we paid.

This is not an hotel but an apartment block linked to the Ocean Bay complexes scattered all over Luz. The amenities listed, for example restaurants, are not at the 'hotel' itself, so if you want some breakfast you will have to endure a quarter mile uphill hike to get it. The hotel is also not situated where shown on the Expedia map; it is actually on […] a main street approximately 400m inland. Despite taking a downloaded location map with me I had to negotiate the Luz one way system 3 times to try and find it, before giving up and ringing the hotel to get directions. Read more

Vi hyrde en bil och åkte runt i Portugal under två veckors tid. Vi bokade lägenheten någon dag före ankomst och fick den till ett mycket rimligt pris. Luz, som staden / byn heter är vacker och har en mycket fin strand. Dito många restauranger med vacker utsikt. Maten i Portugal var bra och prisvärd över lag men just här råkade vi ut för några ställen […] där maten kanske inte var tipp topp. Palm bay resort är ett komplex. Om man bor där har man tillgång till två familjepoolsområden och en vuxenpoolområde (där barn inte var välkomna). Det tog ca 5 minuter att gå till närmaste familjepoolsområdet. Personalen var mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående. Lägenheten vi fick (K1) var fantastiskt. Stor och med havsutsikt, trots att det var ca 500m till stranden. Dessutom med tvättmaskin, tacksamt när man reser runt med två barn i en hyrbil. Poolområdena var också bra. Enda anmärkningen: solstolarna kunde tvättas oftare. Mycket fågelskit. Poolerna var också lite ofräscha. Hittade t.ex en död fågelunge i en. Read more

Hôtel bien situé, à côté de la palge, station balnéaire, qualité de service. Familiale, idéal si on a des enfants. Les appatements pourraient être un peu plus propre. Sinon je le recommande!!!!!!!!!!
