I had an excellent time at Gulfview. Its very close to the beach and short drive to many restaurants and nice retail areas. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice condo and it was very clean. The negative is that it was not as big as we thought initially. It is a nice place for a family of 3 or maybe 4 if the kids are young. It is a very nice location right across the beach.

I was hit with a 99.96 charge when I checked in. I was told all charges were included when i pre-payed. The room was nice, and close to everything. The bed was very uncomfortable. Really enjoyed our stay @ Gulfview. I would have liked a different condo though. Our couch was broken and extremely uncomfortable for more than one person, blinds were broken and did not block street lights in parking lot, toaster and oven were also broken. And while there our toilet clogged up 2x, the response time to fix the toilet was exceptional! […] We went with two other families and their condos were great and had NONE of these issues. The room was nice and the people running the place were friendly. The only problem I have is an extra charge for room cleaning. No one came by our room and cleaned at all while we were there! Other than that it was good! I would still stay there again anyway!

I stayed here with my daughters in April 2012 for their Spring Break and we loved it. The price is affordable and I don't feel as though I sacrificed quality or location for the price at all. It is a great value. Given the its location on the walking path, across Scenic 98 from a beautiful beach and its proximity in reference to coffee shops and restaurants […] I would recommend it to anyone wanting a getaway on a budget. Very nice condo, but not what I was looking for. The stay per night was cheap but there was a steep cleaning fee of $81.75 that I didn't notice before I booked. Then when I saw it, I assumed it was the amount that would be put on hold until my room was cleaned. Turns out I was wrong and forked over the cash. There wasn't a hotel service desk except […] during normal hours and had to drive to another location to get my room key then go back the next day during "normal" hours and actually check in. For the price I paid in cleaning fees, breakfast and coffee, I could have stayed in a nicer hotel. If I was staying for a long time, I might would have considered this hotel but for two night, it wasn't worth it. Read more

its was the best family vacation, we love this room, close to beach, perfect !! we want to come back again.The unit 103 is perfect location, but the only thing to fix is the patio door is hard to open, the light out side dosent turn on and the bath tub is dripping.

After a 12 hr drive all we wanted to do is go to our room and rest but, we didn't get to do that. When we got in to our room we notice that it had not been cleaned the beds had not been done the floor was dirty and wet towels on the floor. I really enjoyed my stay here. The condo was larger than I expected, with a full kitchen (fully stocked with utentils, pots, pans, etc.), large bathroom, one bedroom, bunkbeds and a pull out queen sized sofa. This property definitely caters to families and young children. We were steps from the beach and were able to take advantage of the rental umbrellas and chairs directly on the beach. I would consider staying here again since the price was so reasonable. Don't fret if you have to check-in after 5pm. There's a lockbox with your check-in details at the check-in property a couple doors down. You just pick up the phone and an operator give you directions on how to open it to access your key code, etc. Read more

As far as the complex itself and the cleanliness of the room, we were very happy. Our only interaction with the staff was at check-in (different site), but they were very friendly. Great location right across the street from the beautiful beach. The mattress in the one bedroom must have been purchased at the time the facility was built, as it was WAY […] beyond needing replaced. My wife and I would both roll to the middle of the bed while sleeping (not by choice). We were in unit 105, which is a first floor unit. This proved to be the biggest complaint, as we could hear every floor-creaking footstep of the tenants above, including their two children who ran from one end of the unit to the other until 2:00 a.m. one night...seriously, who lets two small children stay up until 2:00 a.m., even on vacation? Overall, this was a nice place to stay. takes 30 seconds to get to beach. I lucked out and got room 314 and had a pefect view of the beach. I only had two complaints. First, you pay an 82$ cleaning fee, but they never come clean the room or take trash out or give more towels. I guess they just do a clean up when you leave. Second, the bed was HORRIBLE!!!. […] It was a king, which was nice but i woke up everyday sore all over. Like I said, overall a nice place to stay, but not my first choice. We booked this facility because it was able to accommodate five adults. However, we discovered, upon arrival, that it could only accommodate four adults. I called the local management company and advised them of the problem. We were moved to another location and were very pleased with the accommodations.

Good and Bad.... GOOD: -The room was roomy and clean. -Close to the beach (about 3 min walk). -Though we didn't use them, both swimming pools were large and very clean. -The third floor room we were in was very quiet. -Our room had a decent view of the ocean and beach. . BAD: -Buidings were older than expected; in fair condition. -No elevator, not ideal […] when on the third floor and moving in and out with luggage. -didn't care for having to visit another building a block away just to find the key/combo to the room. -No on-site managment office. - I thought the price was too high for a cleaning charge at $81 when we checked in. At that point, I had no option but to pay it. And yet the check-out instructions still said to do the dishes and take out the trash before we left. Wow. -Front door was hard to shut and back door was hard to open- - every time. -Older couch and loveseat need to be updated in living area. -Drains in bath and kitchen have no guards, just a large gaping hole straight down the pipes. This is bad for losing things down the drains which I almost did twice during the week.. -Right door of TV cabinet would not stay open, needs fixed. Read more

For sleeping 6, it was tight and i mean real tight. Only 1 bathroom/shower to share. Kitchen plates and utensils were clean although someshat sparse in pots and pans. Pool was well kept. Parking was close to our 3rd floor room. Would recommend for a smaller family.

My kids & I were beyond please with our choice for our first beach vacation. The condo met & exceeded our expectations. The only down side was a traffic accident caused a power outtage for over 6 hours but that was in no way the fault of the facility. Confusing office location, reached around 5, office was closed. The dorr pin had to be changed twice n one needs to memorize it, I mean come on don't we already have enough passwords in our life, a plastic key would be much better. The rooms have no accessibility for kids n for people with knee problems, the staircases r very cumbersome. The buildings […] have no elevator service except for the first building at the front. The trash disposal is a mile away n one has to walk down the stairs, carry it across the parking lot to the trash cans right at the end. If u got kids, never stay on the first or 2nd floors as the floors r very thin n u will soon see people downstairs knocking on your door loudly. That said, the property is conveniently located close to the beach which is perhaps the only positive out of it all n yes be careful about the 81 dollars plus that the property will charge u for maid services after u have paid a reasonable rate already online or wherever u have booked. This was a great location if you are okay not being right on the beach.....but you are 30 yards from it. As far as location, I love Scenic 98 because you can stay across the street and still be there AT THE BEACH. There isn't a lot of traffic, there is a great jogging path that allows for strolls to Pompano Joe's, Crab Trap, Whale's Tail and Bad A55 Coffee which is great! I love that it came with everything you need all you have to bring is your food, your toiletry stuff and yourself.
