Sub-standard accommodation, no kettle or toaster and a smell of drains. Staff who weren't very helpful and a payment for mattresses on the sunbeds! Only our chambermaid made our holiday, she was a gem, doing the best she could . The resort was lovely but we wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Jardim probably was a nice complex, 20 years ago - but alas not much has happened by way of maintenance since. We were three couples staying for a couple of days on a tour of Portugal. Our three rooms were all large and enjoyed nice views of Albufeira. So far so good. One of the couples had to change rooms as their first room was infested with cockroaches, […] that was swiftly dealt with by the hotel. in fact so swiftly that they placed new guests in the room just a few hours later. In two out of three rooms, the bathroom doors couldn't be closed. Not as in couldn't be locked, but so bad that it wasn't even possible to close the door at all. The hotel also charges extra for normal stuff like the in room safe, rental of the tennis courts (which included two rather worn rackets and a hard-court which wasn't all that flat) - but also for more minor stuff like the remote for the tiny TV-sets (including a deposit which could more or less buy you a universal remote). Our neighbors across a little courtyard were dutch teenagers set on partying, including nice gestures such as smashing up all the bottles they had finished at five in the morning by launching them from the third floor balcony. This of course accompanied by a car alarm that kept going through the night... Back to the amenities, the rooms comes equipped with a little kitchen (fridge+stove) and some basic equipment and utensils. Interestingly the power for the rest of the apartment/room shuts down when you turn on the oven. So you can't cook and watch TV at the same time. The restaurant and pool area is decent. The food is decent for the average Albufeira tourist restaurant and the staff was kind enough. The hotel staff probably wouldn't have suffered from smiling slightly more, but they were nice enough on the border of curt. The complex also has a bar/lounge on site, which we only sampled once. Encantado con la impresión exterior que muestra el hotel, pero sumamente decepcionado con la habitación, ya que todo es muy antiguo y lo que más me chocó fue que tuve que quitar los cojines del sofá para poder tener una cama en la que dormir. Por otra parte, el tv de 14" (por supuesto nada de pantalla plana) precisaba del alquiler del mando a distancia […] (1€ al día y fianza de 10€). fanns ingen AC och städningen var inte speciellt bra. Obekväma sängar och toaletten var ganska skabbig. Dålig kyla i kylskåpet. dock väldigt bra poolområde.

Lejligheden var stor og rummelig, og super med 2 badeværelser. Der var rent. Men også meget slidt det hele, kan man leve med det er det udemærket til prisen. poolen var også ren og fin, og restauranten ligeledes fin men lidt dyr. Alt i alt udemærket, og god service i receptionen

Hotellet ligger ca 800 m. fra centrum noget oppe det er ikke at anbefale for personer der er dårlig gående, over alt i Albufeira der er store stigninger og dermed også stort fald på terrenen Men ellers en flot by med godt gang i gadelivet om aftenen, ca. 800 m . til god strand og gode restauranter, en spændende by med gode oplevelser
