Came upon this hotel by chance on a quick visit to Lloret. Situated on the sea front with car-parking directly outside the Miramar caught our attention immediately and we decided to try for accommodation although we had not booked. The receptionist spoke quite good English (our Spanish is limited) and we were given a magnificent room with a balcony overlooking beach. The bathroom was exceptionally modern and clean, containing shower, bath, hand basin, bidet and toilet. The bedroom was spacious with flat screen television, very comfortable bed, safe and plenty of wardrobe space. In the bar during that evening the owner was overseeing staff along with his wife. Breakfast in the dining room was self service with absolutely everything all could wish for, English, continental all tastes. Again the owner was present. The whole ambiance was relaxed and pleasurable.

Upgrade to a sea view and you will also be able to watch the festivities and events in the town hall square from your balcony. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were half board because we were exploring during the day. The food is basic but always a fish, meat and veggie selection and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Just had 5 day break at this hotel. First time we have been to such a small hotel, but was a joy. It is ideally located a stones throw from the beach and all restaurants in area. The rooms were spotless.Had no trouble with discos booming out till all hours, Pool is small but clean and lovely view of the beach from it as its on the roof.We had B&B, which suited us fine. Breakfast usual stuff, but set us up for the day and loads of good restaurants within minutes walk. Were going to go on a boat trip, but seemed to be full of drunk teenagers. Sea view room a must and take your kettle as no tea making facilities in room, but useful fridge in the room. Lovely small hotel, which we are planning to visit again. If you want somewhere local to all amenties, don't want in- house entertainment, then this is the hotel for you. Bus stop right outside and beach cleaned nightly.

This hotel is in one of the best locations in Lloret. With uninterrupted sea views across the bay from the rooftop swimming pool terrace area, you can see the castle at one end of the bay and the monument to the fisher men's wife at the other. Although not directly on to the beach, it is only about 50 metres away, with just the gravel avenue, which extends from the town hall square, and the main promenade road to cross, before you reach that typical costa brava big grained sand. Close proximity to the town hall gave us entertainment from our sea view balcony most nights, and even a full day of local entertainment at the weekend. Our room was 2nd floor with a fantastic glass fronted sea view balcony with enough room for a table and a couple of chairs. The air-conditioned room was spacious, with dressing table and fridge. Bathroom was clean and had a shower over a bath. The maid cleaned the room and made our beds every day. The hotel is spotlessly clean, from foyer to roof top terrace. The staff are always at hand to help. The receptionists we're particularly helpful. Speaking some Castillian or Catalan is essential, which we preferred as it gave us a chance to practice. There is a small hotel bar serving ice cold draft San Miguel. The bar serves drinks and food to a small gazebo covered restaurant just in front of the hotel on the gravelled avenue. They serve fantastic tapas here. The almejas (clams) being my favourite. We stayed half board. Both the breakfast and evening meals were buffet style help yourself affairs. Breakfast always had bacon, scrambled eggs, cold meats and cheese. Some mornings there were different varieties of sausage, and always fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals on offer. Also a good variety of pastries. I particularly liked the custard filled churros. Yum! The evening meal always had at least one fish option, which we found was good quality. The was always a fresh salad, chips, a meat option, and cheese. Overall the food was good value for money. Just a short 1 minutes walk down any of the side streets next to the hotel takes you to the beautiful church, leading on to the maze of backstreet shops and restaurants. There are so many places to eat in the area. You can actually see the church from the back of the rooftop terrace. The club nightlife is not to far away either, if that's you thing. But we preferred the walk along the prom in the evening. We would definitely stay at the Miramar again, and highly recommend it.

Miramar Hotel in Lloret de Mar is managed by a Spanish lady named Olga, who herself delivers drinks and food to guest in the terrace restaurang just in front of the hotel. Her favourite is the Melon Mohito. They are located just on the beech and just by the Town Hall. The location is 10 points out of 10 points since there are always various performances held just outside the townhall and therefore just by Miramar's terrace restaurant. There are dance or singing performances held almost evey night. The food is very good and always deliver. The WIFI is fri and works well, which is seldom the case. So you are able to work on your holiday as well. :-). The service is friendly, which is also seldom the case. The hotel has a top floor pool which is very nice. Highley recommended! :-)

with a few sketchy reviews found when browsing for this hotel I was slightly sceptical of the hotel. Especially with some saying there are discrepancies between the Spanish star rating and the English. However upon arrival we were greeted by an extremely clean and well decorated reception area and an eager member of staff. During our stay there was no noise during the evening and all communal areas were kept spotlessly clean. Only problem during our stay was the fact the hair dryer broke and unfortunately they were not able to rectify this problem until the following day which was slightly annoying as this meant a delay in the entire evening. Aside from this problem which was fixed the next day our stay was faultless and could not recommend this hotel more highly.

A great little hotel, with friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Its the right end of town for a relaxing holiday , having said that if your looking for night clubs and casinos they are about a five minute walk away . The only reason i'm not giving this hotel five stars is the food . The choice is good and varied but its always luke warm or cold , there is a microwave but its such a shame that it has to be used all the time. Would I go back to this hotel ? defiantly .
