It's fine, nothing particularly wrong with it, but nothing outstanding either. I thought it was too pricy for the value, but I was just looking for a place to sleep. In retrospect, I would have gone with a less expensive place.

It was convenient and comfortable. Staff was good and so was breakfast. I would recommend it. Little far from ski mountains but worth saving money compared to spending twice the money to stay near mountain.

Hotel is typical of Hampton Inns- clean and convenient with very pleasant and helpful staff throughout. I am starting to suspect however that many of the hotels that I book through Hotels.com give us slightly substandard rooms in terms of location, views, etc. This particular room, although it was booked months in advance, was adjacent to the elevator […] shaft. This seems to be a brand new hotel in a newer area of town. It's located next to a shopping plaza with a bunch of other stores and restaurants around. The area is named after the main grocery store that is there. It's not at the center of town, but only a mile or two drive to everything. Not a problem at all. Everything was clean and new, and I was […] (even though I am not one who needs it) especially impressed by the fact that the pool and hot tub both had handicap lifts (I had never seen this at a hotel before). The free breakfast was very good and had lots of variety from hot food to cold fruit, from cereals to bagels, and from coffee to juices. The staff was eager to help in any way they could, with anything at all, and they were super-friendly. The room was spacious, with both a king bed and a pull-out sofa, plus all the other usual stuff (dressers, desk, etc.). The bed wasn't as comfortable (for me) as my bed at home, but was still high quality. I think it's hard for a hotel bed to be perfect for everyone (it's such a personal thing). My only complaint about the hotel was that breakfast was touch and go a bit. Although offering a full breakfast with the room is a lovely thing! However, wireless was very, very slow, and often didn't work at all. There is a business center however, and a wire cable in the room as well, although I didn't use it.

Being close to Bennington College, it served our needs perfectly. Nothing spectacular, but no real negatives. Unless you want to stay at a B&B or a motel, it is really the only game in town. The included breakfast was a real plus.

We stayed in room 212. The elevator was on the other side of our headboard (literally). The elevator was loud (and remarkably slow for a hotel with only 3 floors) and it was all we could hear throughout the night. Not just the noise of people getting on or off, but the actual mechanics of it. We got this hotel in the very last minute at a very affordable price. We didn't expect much for this price but it turned out to be so much better than expected. I like the fact that most Hamptons are all the same, you know what to expect for the most part. Nice hotel, clean all around. My only gripe was the heat/ac unit in the room was kind of loud. Otherwise a good stay.

Reasonably priced, more than comfortable, very convenient for visit to Bennington College, just across the road, and the town of Bennington, a few miles down the highway. I would definitely select this hotel again for a visit to Bennington.

We haven't stayed at a Hampton Inn in a while. I was just expecting a king with a bathroom and maybe a chair. This room had a living room area right inside the front door, then the bathroom, then the bed at the end of the hallway past the bathroom. The living space had a Tv, couch, chair, and a desk with another chair, as well as a bar, mini-fridge […] and microwave. We were able to have 5 people in the room for an after dinner cocktail while leaving the baby peacefully sleeping in the pack 'n play at the other end of the room. Very nice. Read more
