"Nice and Quiet"
Can't beat the price. I paid $150 per night and this room had it all. My wife loved the 2 person jacuzzi tub in the room. Very spacious. However Don't get fooled into listening to timeshare! The desk at check in asked me to join them for a private nice breakfast at 9 and gave me coupon books for discounts and said if I stay for an hour presentation, […] I would get $100. Of course it's timeshare but when I got there, it was just coffee n donuts and they wanted to stay for 2-3 hours. I did not stay but if u do, you get $100. Overall still a good place to stay. "Fortunate Find"
We chose this location for their large suites with kitchens. We were able to connect two suites so the whole family could stay together. Luckily, this came in very handy when my granddaughter became ill with a stomach virus. Spending 4 days with a sick child in a hotel would have been horrible. The staff was very attentive and brought us new towels […] immediately when needed. They also had several very nice pools, a miniature golf course and games to borrow for the kids. Awesome customer service. Very accommodating. Asked for a nice room to spend the weekend with my wife for our anniversary and was glad to help. Unlike hotels, we offer luxury condominium-style rooms including amenities like jacuzzi tubs and fully appointed kitchens for our guests. Another difference between timeshares and hotels is that guests do not get daily room service. This is standard practice in the timeshare industry. The resort however offers full housekeeping services for a fee upon request. Thank you commenting and we hope you consider staying with us again.
"Cooking is Better Than Eating Out"
The Grandview is a timeshare not a hotel. However, they have representatives that will help you with directions, etc.... On that same note, we asked for directions and were given the wrong ones, they have an internet room with free printing I suggest getting your own directions. The condos are clean, there were a few things not working well: the curtains, […] the TV (they sent a tech and he had it fixed in less than 10 min). We stayed for my daughters volleyball tournament. It was well worth the savings in food having a full service kitchen. We ate healtier and I was able to cook while my daughter showered or got ready for her day. I had a great stay at the grandview I would do it again love the fact that there was a kitchen and washer and dryer. we were there for a volleyball tournament and the washer and dryer worked out fine and to wash the the uniforms. hallways were quite and clean. "DON'T GET DISABLED ROOM"
I am disabled aand we got put into a 'Disabled' room. The persons responsible for designing a shower for the disabled WAS NOT very good. The shower stall was at the same levbel as the bathroom floor and if you weren't EXTREMELY careful #such as putting towels along the entire length# or having the shower head pretty much aiming at the wall, then the […] ENTIRE bathroom floor flooded! Try being disabled and cleaning that up, I had to clawl on my hands and knees and grab ANY towel to sop all the water up.................standing wasn't an option. Otherwise the room ws OK. I cannot express how much I loved staying at The Grandview! Finding the concierge was a bit difficult, especially because I came in the back way, but all it took was one phone call to lead me in the right direction. The bf and I stayed here this past weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better room! The price was amazing and you definitely get […] a lot of bang for your buck! It includes a full kitchen w/ fridge, pots/pans, dishes, cups, coffee maker, blender, oven, dishwasher, and washer/dryer! What more could you ask for? I love the fact this is a suite and not just a room w/ beds in it. There were 2 LCD TVs (Sharp brand; not a no-name cheapo brand!), a dvd player, a lot of dresser/drawer space, a spacious closet, and bath tub. Love the fact there's a bathtub! The countertops in the kitchen and bathroom are granite, which is so much better than tile. I just felt so comfy and cozy that I didn't want to leave! I also really loved the decor; it was modern-chic and the colors were awesome: oranges, browns, tans.... love it! I also loved that although this is a timeshare, no one bothered us with presentations or anything; they just let us be. I wonder if it's because they knew I was from Expedia and no where does it say that there would be a timeshare presentation? I dont know, but I would definitely stay here, hands down, again and again! "Ok value for the money"
Hotel room was fairly clean...the shower tile had mold in the grout..nothing a little Tilex cleaner wouldn't take away. The room felt like it had not been cleaned thoroughly. Fortunately, there is a washer & dryer in the room so we could wash the sheets and towels before using them. The tour was a complete rip-off and I would not recommend it to anyone! […] The hotel is quite a ways from anything on the strip so if you have a car you are ok. Otherwise, the shuttle is expensive and takes forever. I was there with my grandchildren and only one pool was warm enough to swim in. Overall, if you are looking for an inexpensive stay, this hotel is adequate. Loved loved loved this Hotel! I was there for a Staycation and it was just what I needed... perfect! Cleanliness is VERY important to me and the room was immaculate! The room was very spacious, the large spa tub was divine (just what I needed to relax every day) the bedding clean and very comfortable! The kitchen had everything I needed so I could eat […] in the room when I wanted. The pool area was beautiful! I was there in cooler weather so it wasn't busy with swimmers so I found it very relaxing to sit out by the waterfall and read. "Not a pleasant stay due to noise..."
This ended up being a bad stay due to being in noisey/moldy musty rooms during my short stay. The first rooms I was in was in a older tower and there was a moldy musty odor that was bothering my sinuses so I eventually got moved to a newer tower which was fine, no odor. The room in the newer tower was gorgeous and even had granite countertops and a […] W/d! Very spacious and like a apartment, not a hotel room so very pleased with the room itself. The problem was this... NOISE... the walls at this hotel are VERY thin and each room has a jacuzzi tub... when people run the tub it will wake you. Also, there was a LOUD motorcycle event going on next door. The location normally would be quiet. I will give the following advice... if you're not a early to bed/early to rise DO NOT go to this hotel UNLESS you stay in a room on the TOP FLOOR! Then, you'll avoid having any noise above you from the jacuzzi. Also, I would like to note that while my stay was a partial disaster... the customer service was GREAT. They handled the situation very professionally and tried to fix it but didn't have any rooms on the top floor left to put me in. They did generously refund my money for the rest of my stay cause I left early, some hotels wouldn't do that. This is the perfect location to stay in Las Vegas if you want to be far enough from the constant action on the strip but close enough to get there when you need to live on the edge.
