We could not have been happier with our experience at this hotel. The rooms were small, but well equipped, service was amazing, and it was wonderful to... have two restaurants and a bar on-site. The entire stay was delightful! We enjoyed our night away at Gulfcoast Inn. The room was clean and spacious. The pool area and bar were nice. The hibachi restaurant was delicious with good service. The only downside was the uncomfortable bed. It was very bouncy and sunk in the middle. Overall, we liked it and would stay again.

The hotel is dated but in good shape. The room we had 103 was up graded with nice cabinets, shower area & over all room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend bringing your own pillows if you like them fluffy. The pillows were flat, but the bed was comfortable. The hotel was fine; my room was clean and comfortable. I'd certainly stay there again. There was an issue with the hotel not actually getting my hotels .com booking email. So, it took a about an hour to get checked in but the manager was very helpful as I relaxed at the bar for a bite.

It was noisy from 6:30 in the morning to late at night. I was there with my daughter. Bar/restaurant patrons were loud, yelling profanity during a football game. The next night it was a band. The tv remote didn't work and the shower door was off the frame. All in all it was like spring break for the middle aged.

Interesting place (Ohio State decorations) with places to eat and party if you didn't want to go out. Beds were too soft for me and seemed worn where guests sit. Good value for your buck.

It was raining and after I struggled into lobby with my stuff I was told to pull my car arounfd the back and offered no help at all. I am a single woman in her late 50's. A little courtesy and help would have gone a long way. You get what you pay for...

Laminate flooring in the room gave it a cleaner feeling than some hotels where the carpets need attention. Room lighting was very dim, ...with every light switched on, still couldn't see very well, ..then when we didn't want light when it was bed time, ....there was a huge flourescent light outside our window that we couldn't hide with the curtains, […] so it was too bright to sleep. We tried stuffing towels up there, but it didn't do too much. Not too bad a little hotel overall, ...and the breakfast, although minimal continental, wasn't too bad. Pool was in the wrong area for me. I like a little more privacy at a pool. Felt like a prison yard with windows all around and the pool in the middle of a courtyard. Read more

I stayed here because the price was right. Floor was sticky. Amenities aren't particularly good. The sanitizer they use is applied too strong. Nice tiki bar that is popular with locals and had good prices. It was a value in that I did not over pay compared to other options in the area. Since I did not spend a lot of time at the hotel, it was fine.
