Overall, really nice room. Lot of room and sinks (3!) Super clean. Plenty of free parking. Room service from Ruth's Chris (pricey). Free breakfast with made to order omelets. (plus the usual hot & cold breakfast stuff) Beautiful lobby with koi pond and trees. Convenient, but slightly tricky to get to location. It doesn't look like that's the road you are supposed to turn on if you are coming in from the north. We had to trust the gps & map. Oh and you have to pay for wifi unless you are a member of their rewards program - that's the only "con".

Not fancy, but great for the price. This is a MOTEL, not a hotel - i.e. the room doors open to the OUTSIDE. The "grab and go" breakfast is not what I would think of as a "breakfast included". It's pretty much a granola bar and a piece of fruit, so if you want breakfast otherwise, you'll have to go out. I would stay here again if the price was right. It was clean, comfortable, and safe.

The Ross Bridge Resort and Spa is wonderful! My girlfriends and I planned an overnight trip here, and we couldn't have been happier. The Spa is outstanding- you should plan to spend at least a few hours there. I had only planned on a massage, but when I saw the steam room, hot tub, lounge (free access with any service) and salon, I decided to get a […] pedicure too and stayed all day. I didn't even get a chance to take advantage of the fitness center or the indoor pool, and it was way too cold for the gorgeous outdoor pool-- so I will be coming back! I also bought the "Trail Card" (discount card) which was a terrific savings on the spa services and restaurants. We had planned to go into B'ham at night, and again for brunch, but we ended up staying at the hotel restaurant (Brock's) for dinner which was very smart. The food was great, the prices were decent for a fancy restaurant, and it's not really worth leaving the resort. I had an early breakfast before we left (breakfast buffet was outstanding) and I wish we had all stayed for brunch because it was far superior to the restaurant we chose in Birmingham. B'ham is 20 minutes away, Tuscaloosa about 45-50 minutes away. For people already in Alabama, this is a wonderful getaway without having to get on an airplane! Our Itenerary was not presented to us when we checked in. I highly suggest an adult pool. We did enjoy our stay. Everyone was freindly. Our favorite employee was Michael, the Bellman. A lovely breakfast buffett was included inb uor package. We will return.

This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in that wasn't a 5 star. Staff was super nice, breakfast buffet was AWESOME. Love the pool, zero entry and waterslide are great for the kids! We'll definitely come back & stay longer! Strongly recommend!

The people at the front desk were extremely nice and the valet workers always acknowledged us when we came in with pleasant smiles. It was a great experience. The bed slept wonderfully.

In defense of the rest of the staff, the bar is excellent and everyone was very friendly. After an expensive and no-better-than-mediocre dinner at Brock's where our waiter made himself scarce and we waited 10 minutes for our check, the fire alarm went off at 10pm. This wouldn't have been a big deal, except that the managers couldn't figure out how to […] shut it off after a microwave smoked up in the cooking area. We listened to a blaring siren everywhere in the hotel for 45 minutes. I suppose we should be glad to know that they worked, but it was a miserable night - especially as this was our first night away from our 2mo old and we were both looking forward to a peaceful night. No one dared to ask us how our stay was when we checked out the next morning and the manager didn't offer any kind of compensation for the awful night. This is a "must stay here again hotel!" We had the most wonderful stay - a 3 day rendezvous!! We arrived before our room was ready and Daniel at the front desk upgraded us to a wonderful corner suite overlooking the golf course. The view was fabulous and how special to hear and see the bagpiper call all the golfers into dinner every evening - very lovely. […] Chris at the upstairs bar was attentive and had our brand of scotch ready each evening for us to enjoy. The golf course was a pleasure to play and was beautifully maintained.
