Rodeway Inn Swiss Holiday Resort - Eureka Springs

The advertisement said there was a hot tub on site. I called 2 different websites representing this hotel since I could not reach them directly and both said the hot tub was in operation. It wasnt. It, like the pool is seasonal. The breakfast was really non existent but the room was clean. The monster truck parked outside of our room idled for atleast […] an hour at 0630 in the morning while its animal like owner coughed and wheezed outside of our door during his morning smoke for atleast as long. The channels on the tv were few and far between but the location was great. Overall, if there were a hot tub available I would give this place 8/10, instead I give it 5/10. Was a clean place to stay. This hotel is perfectly fine if you are only looking for a clean and safe place to sleep. But it turned out to be old and somewhat run down. The continental breakfast was forgettable. The pictures and description try to make you feel like you are going to be in some Swiss winter wonderland but this hotel is not that at all.

It was OK! Bikers had a race so the front parking lot had many bike parkes. We stayed in the back building, away from the main crowd, it was OK.

The tub needed to be cleaned. It looked dirty. Need a ice machine at the the adjacent building where we stayed. No ice. Did have a frig but no microwave. It was OK would stay there again. Bed was comfortable TV outdated. Kind of middle of the road. Id give it about a 3.5 The staff was the best part.

Arrived late in evening so it was DARK. Our room was quite a distance from front desk.;our room was up steps and we had an encounter with a raccoon, A very large raccoon! Room was quite dirty. We asked for another room and moved. Much better room but a/c was quite dusty. Wonder if it were ever cleaned/checked. The continental breakfast was quite sparse […] but the eating room was adequate. The lobby was pleasant.. The night and day managers were very pleasant . The Lodge was in a convenient place and actually quiet even tho it was near the main drag..We did not notice the sign when we arrived (at night) because it was not turned on for whatever reason. I had requested 1st floor because my husband has difficulty with steps (he's 81 yrs. old) Also requested refrig. for medications that must be kept cold. We were placed in an out building that required a flight of stairs, and very far away ( in another building up a hill) from the ice machine. Room was very nice and clean other than a few cobwebs on the ceiling. Be careful of the shower. I almost scalded myself. The A/C was a little loud and the vents were not adjustable. The breakfast was quite lacking but there was a great breakfast buffet next door for a reasonable price.

The Front Desk Attendant was exceptional! One of the most competent and professional people I've ever met. This hotel is definately a good value for the money. The room was nice, it was clean, close to sights, good rates. continental breakfast sucked--not a very good variety and had no cream cheese for bagels. Asked for an extra pillow and it never came nor did I get a call that there were none available. Also got a quizzical look when I wanted more towels and got them from the front desk...I had three people […] and we planned on using the pool (both the pool and Jacuzzi looked clean and well maintained). I was very surprised because the hotel is right in the middle of the main strip. I expected noise but there was none. Slept well. The people were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If you want super fancy then go somewhere else. If you want a good room & comfortable stay, then choose this hotel.

This motel has a pool that is ten feet deep at the deep end. They could easily play that up to attract scuba enthusiasts who wanted to test their equipment either before or after a dive in the large nearby lakes.

My husband was in the Lobby around 8:30 am having a cup of coffee and the hotel associates spread out the hotel laundry over the tables in order to fold them. They just ignored his presence as a guest.

Coming from a more modern motel, I was disappointed by this one. The room was done in dark colors with wash sink at one end and a small shower/toilet room to the rear. The bed creaked when getting into it, and it bears saying that the rooms are within 100 feet of a busy highway. So why would I recommend it? Well, the room was clean and fresh. The staff […] was accommodating for an upgrade from the two singles I reserved to a queen. The bed, while initially creaky was quite comfortable, and the traffic noise was not obtrusive at night - in fact I slept quite well both nights we were there. The motel is on the route of a shuttle to Eureka Springs proper, which is not far away in any case, and the Tex-Mex restaurant down the street served great food with monster margaritas. Read more
