"Nice stay in Shinjuku"
This was a last-minute stay for us before returning to the United States. We were pleasantly surprised all around by how nice this hotel was, and the morning breakfast buffet was excellent. Couldn't ask for more for the money!

"very mixed"
Far from Shinjuku station but close to Subways. Has a shuttle bus that is handy, but it ceases to exist between 10:25 & 3:25. Most of the staff was very pleasant, but one day we woke up late due to a lot of noise that night that kept us up (in addition to the bad beds) & when we arrived downstairs at 10:26 (the elevators are slow too and you will be waiting, just an FYI to give extra time) the bus was still there & hadn't pulled away yet, but the hotel staff very rudely told us they were done. He then proceeded to hail cabs for others that exited the hotel after us & pretended we weren't there. it was raining pretty hard which made us want to avoid walking to the subway. While the walk to the subway and walking in the rain is fine, it's important to note you'll be walking through a pretty large homeless colony under some overpasses on the way to the subway & it's even more crowded in bad weather- so just something to keep in mind with this hotel. For the beds- we aren't picky and we are pretty young. Through our time in Japan we stayed at 4 other hotels which included sleeping on futons on the floor without issue. However, at this hotel we woke up with crippling pain & it really did delay us getting up and out each morning. we were literally hunched over- it hurt to move. Neither of us have existing back issues. The bathrooms are small (fine- it's Japan!) but are also separate- like RV bathrooms with thin walls that were dropped in the room- it would move when you step in.

"Great Location"
Great hotel for those going to Mt Fuji. The Highway Express bus that took us to the volcano was a short walk or a 4 minute trip on the hotels free shuttle to Shinjuku station.... Highway Express is just outside the west exit. the bed was quite comfy, we are small people so the room was fine but if you're over say 5'11", it may be too small of a room. we also wished the restaurant was open longer hours and had a larger menu...... Would stay again. Good location, friendly staff........

"Great loc! Rooms nice, but dated. Really no frills"
Convenient location. Has shuttle bus to Shinjuku station that runs every 20 min, but pauses service around lunchtime. Rooms are clean though small, but ok size by tokyo standards. The place felt dated and in need of a freshening up. Also, while we understand that this is a no frills place, some aspects were a bit unexpected even so. For instance, they did not loan out adapters for overseas plugs (instead they charged ¥1000 for purchase of one, you can get one at BIC for ¥600),and they EMPHASIZED their ¥100 per hour late checkout policy. At other similar Tokyo hotels we stayed at, they loaned out adapters freely and were more flexible with checkout. Really cheapened the place. But otherwise, it was a plesent stay and service was great, as expected of Japanese standards.

"SHUTTLE SERVICES"
While it is a plus the hotel provides shuttle to the Shinjuku train that other hotels do not, the service is not available after 9:50pm and there is no shuttle service between 12pm through 2pm. This schedule is not quite convenient for the hotel guests who need a ride to the hotel during those hours.

Smoke out of the open window. If you smoke you can get a non-smoking room. The staff doesn't care is if you smoke, just smoke OUT of the window. .. Poor location for restaurants though Fungo Italian is near by and very good and affordable. The Park is across the street and lovely. I do 2 Crystal Trade Shows at the Hyatt Regency/year. The price there is more than double and the cable sucks for both IF you are an English speaker.

"Close to Shinjuku Station & Free Shuttle Bus"
We chose this hotel for location. Even though you can walk to the hotel from Shinjuku station (about 5-7 min away), they offer free shuttle bus every 20 min-ish which is very nice if you have heavy baggage or on the rainy day. Room was very, very small than we expected. There is no closet, instead, there are a couple of hooks and hangers on the wall. Needless to say, there is no room to walk around. We chose non-smoking room, and it was fine. We can't rate their restaurant and laundry since we didn't use them. It is surrounded by mainly office buildings (includes City building) and other hotels. If you want to save money for other things but stay close to the station, this hotel is an option for you.

"Great location"
There is a convenient shuttle bus that takes you to and from the Shinjuku Station on the West exit near the bus stop and where the taxis are waiting. Hotel is aging a bit but very clean. The little tea boiler was broken when we tried to operate it. The front desk was extremely speedy in sending a repair man to replace it. The neighborhood it is in is pretty quiet with residential areas mixed with convenience stores and a couple restaurants.

"Good location."
Stayed here for a total of 4 nights. Rooms are small, but adequate. There is free wi-fi in the lobby, but we were able to access it from our room on the 7th floor. This is a basic hotel with no frills. It suited our needs. The Shinjuku train station is about a 15 minute walk or you can take the free shuttle that the hotel offers. We ended up walking most of the time. It was nice to walk through the park that is right across the street. The hotel offered a buffet breakfast which looked okay, but we ended up going out to eat at Denny's and Royal Host which were close by. Starbucks is also within walking distance.

"Great value"
This hotel is conveniently located on a nice city park and is about a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku train station. There are several other hotels around the park that are nicer, but much more expensive. This hotel is clean and comfortable, but the smaller size rooms are really small. However, if you're ok with that, this is a great deal in an excellent location.

"We'd do it again!"
The staff was super duper friendly. They mapped our route each day. It's the best public transit I've ever seen. The free hotel shuttle to shinjuku station each day was a plus. The park across the street was a nice walk and a short cut to the rail station which takes you anywhere you need to go. It's neat and clean. Don't count on a surplus of doubles in japan. My husband and I ended up getting a triple room since we had our son with us. We pushed the two singles together to make a king and our son had a twin-it was perfect. This Hotel is a great bang for the buck!

"Great place to stay in Shinjuku"
Overall, this hotel was great, and I definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay near Tokyo. Walking distance from lots of shopping and eating places, as well as the Shinjuku Station. We did have a bit of a mix-up upon arriving, as this hotel no longer offers roll-away beds, which I requested during my booking. The staff had good English, and were able to find some rooms for us though, so it ended up working out.

"Nice and convenient"
I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. My husband and I went for a mini vacation, the hotel is near the Shinjuku Subway Station, only a 10-15 minute walk however they also provide a free shuttle to and from. The hotel was near various shops and restaurants. The room was a little small but we like exploring so we don’t spent too much time in the hotel either way. I enjoyed the hotel and thought the price was reasonable. If you you dont spend too much time in your hotel room while on vacation but you still like cleanliness, like to feel safe and feel comfortable, this is your place.

"Comfortable stay"
The double bed room we stayed in was pretty spacious considering that it's Tokyo. We have stayed here two times. It was clean and comfortable and right across from a park. Service from the front desk and drivers was prompt and polite. We especially liked the convenience of the shuttle bus that you could catch in front of the hotel to take you to Shinjuku Station. It runs from around 7 am until 9:50 pm with a 2-3 hour lunch break in the middle of the day. You can catch the shuttle from Shinjuku Station by the roundabout at the underground West Exit. The neighborhood is pretty quiet since its closer to residential areas. There are a couple of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. All in all, it's a nice place to stay at. I would stay there again with family if we are ever in Tokyo.

"Small rooms, great location"
We booked a semi-double room and it was a bit cramped. I know it is to be somewhat expected in Tokyo but the bed was barely larger than a standard twin bed. A bit snug for my sister and I. However, the location of this hotel is great. Very close to a subway station and they run a free shuttle to Shinjuku station. Overall a good value if you know you'll be out all day (and maybe night!) and won't be spending too much time in the room itself.

"Good hotel in a central location"
The rooms have tubs which is nice to soak in after a 10 hour flight from the U.S. The hotel serves a breakfast buffet for under 1000 Yen which has a good selection. I always chose scrambled eggs, rice porridge and broiled fish. The dinner menu at the hotel was limited but very good. I recommend the beef curry or smoked chicken and spaghetti. Try to get a room on the East side on a high floor as this is the best view overlooking Shinjuku Central Park and the Skyscraper District. There is a free shuttle service to Shinjuku Station, but finding the shuttle for the ride back to the hotel can be tricky as the drop-off point at the station is very busy.

"Good Value a bit out fo the way for tourists"
we stayed for two nights. it is an older hotel, with a continuous shuttle bus service to Shinjuku Station. The area is peaceful, but a 10 minute walk away from the Shinjuku action. But in favour was just one 50 meter walk to the Tokyo metro tower which are in height above sea level probably the same height as the main observation deck of Tokyo's Skytree, and with a better window view, cheap, and much less crowded. It was good value for money. We prefered the Hotel Gracery atop the Toho cinmeas in Shinjuky from which we shifted as they were booked out on our last two days.

"Clean, fair value, small hike to entertainment"
The place was clean and the rooms well-soundproofed. I didn't realize this until I knocked on my friend's door (saying in the next room) and when he opened the door I could suddenly hear loud music. I didn't hear it at all from my room. The front desk staff were polite and efficient, though they seemed a little aloof (but not rude) It was about 600 metres to Shinjuku train station, and beyond that (another ~200 metres) was the main entertainment area (restaurants, bars, etc). The hotel does provide a free shuttle bus to/from Shinjuku station that runs every 20 mins for most of the day (they stop for ~a few hours in the middle of the day) Overall, I would say it was fair-good value.
