took my 6 year daughter & 3 year old son to Great Wolf Lodge for a weekend birthday celebration; the children had so much fun at the indoor water park we really didn't need to go to nearby Cedar Point. Service was good - room was spacious and clean. There was even a bedtime story hour in the main lobby for children. I read posts that the temperature in the waterpark was cold and the hotel must had rectified this problem because the temperature of both the room and the water were perfect - nice & warm. I highly recommend this hotel to families with young children. We enjoyed our stay so much we're going back next month for my son's birthday!

This hotel is super clean, it has the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on in a hotel and has so much for the whole family to do. The indoor water park tons of fun for kids and adults too!! You don't even need to leave to eat. They have a reasonably priced restaurant with an all you can eat breakfast buffet. We have decided to make it a summer tradition to visit.

We stayed at The Great Wolf Lodge as a stop over on a long drive from Delaware to Wisconsin and it worked out great. We arrived in early afternoon and were able to check in early and let the kids burn off the energy they had stored from sitting in the car for 7 hours and got them ready to do it again the next day. The room was in very good shape, clean and comfortable. All the facilites were well maintained. The pool, slides, etc were well done. This is not a waterpark like you would spend all day at but the kids had lots of fun. The arcade was also good. A good number of games, old and new and not overly priced. Note we did have to struggle through the dreaded ticket exchange for cheap prizes at the end. Our room service pizza was marginal and breakfast the following day in the restaurant was only "OK". The pizza had a dry, tasteless crust although the toppings were good. The breakfast was all you can eat, family style and most of the food was pretty good and reasonably priced. However, there are a large number of restaurants within a five minute drive so there are plenty of other options for food. All in all a great stay. So good, that we decided to stay there again on the drive back home!

We had a great experience with our stay. The Family Fireplace Suite was very spacious for the 6 of us. There was never a dull moment with an indoor waterpark, an outdoor swimming pool, a small children play room, an ice cream stand, and restaraunts in the hotel! There is a mall across the street and a ton of restraunts on the same street. Very convenient! We were also about 10 minutes from Cedar Point. Also the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was money well spent!

I think check in time is way too late in the day, by the time you check in and get changed and down to the pool, its basically dinner time, so you take time out to get dinner and it doesnt leave you with a whole lot of time to swim & play. Yes you can stay and swim the next day but you dont have your room anymore. So you get up and get breakfast, load your car then go back in to swim. You can pay 5.00 for a locker which to me is robbery, but whatever.. rather inconvenient. The hotel restaurant was EXTREMELY disappointing. I hear the Great Wolf in Traverse city is much better and has an actual restaurant where you order from a menu and get what you want instead of their crackpot buffet at your table with the most disgusing food Ive ever seen for 10.00 each.

Overall, this was a good stay but we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. The indoor water park is mainly geared toward little kids - my teenagers spent a short time in the hot tub, but otherwise didn't use that part of the hotel. The whole "great outdoors" theme is very cheesy - there is nothing about the place that remotely resembles nature. In fact, the irony in plastic dolls "singing" about mother earth was pretty amusing. The rooms were great- plenty of space, fridge & microwave. Breakfast is not provided, you can purchase it in one of the restaurants.

Everyone was very polite and accomidating including the clerks in the gift shops. After we checked out, we were able to continue using the waterpark until 9pm. I would love to go back.

For the money this is an excellent place to stay. The water park is warm and has things for the little ones and older ones both. The rooms are larger than most, the only fall back is the tv, they really need a bigger one for the room. Location is super, within 5 miles of Cedar Point. We are going back in November to enjoy the water park somemore.

This hotel was wonderful! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. I've never stayed at a hotel where every employee was pleasant and nice - the front desk, the wait staff, housekeeping, the life guards - everyone was very nice and helpful. We stayed in a family suite, and we had plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 children. The only downfall I can site was that the bathroom was very tiny. It had a tub and toilet and not much room to even change in. But - I would absolutely stay there again - without hesitation. Also - their restaurants had exceptional food. This hotel was terrific!

While the overall stay was ok, it was completely colored by one snack bar worker. She announced curtly as we walked up "We're closed". I asked what they closed and she said "9:00". I pointed out (correctly) that it was only 8:53, and she started arguing with me that THEIR clock said it was 8:58. When I pointed out that this 8:58 isn't 9:00, and she argued, "Well, it's only 2 minutes!" Like any rounding on the clock is supposed to be to the favor of the employee and not the customer!! She was rude and argumentative. When we got her boss there to referee he offered a free dessert in the restaurant. Having an employee argue with me when I was clearly in the right is worth more than dessert. We won't be returning.

We arrived at 12pm and ate lunch at Perkins which is right outside GWL. We went to the hotel at exactly 1pm and was told our room was ready the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and had plenty of room. The water park was very nice for our children. It was not overly crowded and the life guards were not blowing their whistles all the time (which causes my children to be scared of playing anything after having the whistle blown on them).
